After
decades
staying
in
another
city.
I
finally
make
my
way
home
and
decided
to
visit
my
favourite
hangouts
during
my
younger
days
the
popular'Burmese
Pool'
in
Taiping.
I
still
haven't
found
the
answer
as
to
why
this
wonderful
waterfall
is
named
'Burmese
Pool'.
I
really
missed
my
once
favourite
joint
with
fresh
flowing
stream
water
and
the
fond
memories
that
lingers
in
my
mind
of
it's
serenely
beautiful
nature
build
up.
Though
many
changes
are
sighted,
from
free
to
pay
parking,
red
earth
to
marvel
road,
wooden
to
cemented
bridge,
without
sheds
to
resting
huts,
but
one
thing
remains
intact
is
the
flowing
stream
fabulously
unchanged
with
the
ever
clear
water
and
the
fascinating
and
enchanting
surrounding.
It
was
indeed
a
delightful
moment
to
cherish
those
bygone
days,
unfortunately
upon
entering
the
compound
has
given
me
a
fright.
The
place
was
dirty
with
scattered
rubbish
everywhere.
There
were
plenty
of
dustbins
but
not
properly
utilised
and
the
smell
was
horrible.
Those
white
foamy
boxes
can
be
seen
scattered
every
where
I
visited.
I
sincerely
hope
that
the
authority
with
take
immediate
action
positively
to
clean
this
place
and
take
punitive
action
on
these
litterbugs.
It's
a
waste
to
have
such
a
beautiful
recreation
park
poorly
managed.
I
would
be
the
first
to
applaud
these
positive
efforts
to
improve
cleanliness
and
to
maintain
a
hygienic
surrounding
for
visitors
to
enjoy.
