Clean & airy food court for a local meal, nearby Esplanade Fort Cornwallis. Many varieties to choose from. The Nasi lemak stall at entrance seems very popular with the locals for take-away. Great place to have breakfast before heading out to the coast for sightseeing

Nice Mee Sotong, taste is a little salty for me, so I asked for some sugar to sweeten it. We normally eat Mee Goreng with a bit of sugar at home. Old habits. Overall recommended as the noodles come with lots of Sotong, Fritters and other ingredients. Noodles are nice and firm and not soggy. Good and tasty.

Clean, spacious and cooling hawker centre to have a nice lunch. Enjoyed the curry mee, mee goreng, and Tiger beer.

Local hawker delights under one roof and a handy car park next door. Mee goreng, char koay teow, loh mee, pasembor and more staple Penang hawker food available here. Closed on Sundays and some stalls are closed on Saturdays.

A lovely local food court (aka hawker centre) serving a wide variety of Penang local dishes. You will find all famous Penang food here, such as Penang Laksa, Curry Noodle, Hokkien Prawn Noodle, Oyster Omelette, Sliced Fish Noodle Soup, Penang Fried Kway Teow, Nasi Lemak, Beef Noodle, etc, etc and so so much more... I can't name them all LOL. Price is also very reasonable local-price. You have to come here to try the food if you ever visit Penang! This food court is only about 5 to 7 min walk from Penang Port where international cruises will stop over at Penang.

English Custard Tart Portuguese Egg Tart Seremban Siew Pau 🍜 Food wise: Decent tarts, sweet with a taste like steamed egg. The custard tart tasted nicer though. ✨ Ambience wise: Dabao! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Great! 💵 Price wise: 2.50 RM

Very good nasi lemak bungkus. There are a few choices for you to choose from. Chicken, anchovies, shrimp, salted fish and squid. You can also buy a packet with mixed dishes. Always a queue but not time consuming

The hawker food court is located at just next to Alliance Bank and Ambank in Beach Street. My favourite stall is Pak Ali Nasi Lemak. Fresh and delicious anchovies in sambal gravy. This place is reachable by foot if you are coming from Fort Cornwalis or the ferry terminal. The food here is priced within the range of RM2 - RM5 and you will find a lot of local delicacies here. The people of the food court kept the place real clean as well which is always a plus point.

Lots of local food at a local price. The nasi lemak is spicy... Don't buy if you can't take spicy at all.

Conveniently situated in the hustles and bustles of the George Town bank street, this clean and airy food hall has some of the best eats in town. The nasi lemak Bungkus has to be one of the best I’ve tasted but be forewarned, as it is very spicy ! The Penang white curry mee too was very flavorful.

Amazing Wanton Mee and Chicken Feet! Super yummy 😋. Didn’t even have time take a photo of the chicken feet! Checked in with the friendly owner and he said the chicken feet would take about two hours to braise over low fire. Best texture I’d tried!

Park your car beside the food court. Very fast in delivering food, staff ordering drinks were very friendly during my visit. Photo is the pork porridge and it was great for me.

All the street foods are tasty and quality. The gem is definitely the Nasi Lemaka you will not kissed it due to the crowd lines... must go.

Nasi Lemak having long queue, but taste so-so. Nasi lack of coconut taste, more on spicy side. Wanton Mee is great, the same stall that sell the yummy braised chicken feets. Char Kuey Tiao was normal, beef soup noodles was nice and light. Overall a good place to try variety of food and reasonable price.

Went here unplanned but definitely one of the best hawker center in Penang. Tried the nasi lemak, pretty suprised about how affordable it is and tasted also pretty great. + Food choice is great, taste is also generally great. + Place is modern and quite clean + Staffs were friendly.

This is the famous Nasi Lemak Ali, we tried 3 different flavour the squid, the eggs and anchovies as well as the salty fish. It's simple and delicious. Good for breakfast as a starter of the day.

One of the good ones in Penang. Personally for me, this is better than the over rated one esplanade. Ordered chicken mee goreng. RM6 for this plate.

Great spot for Penang hawker food, especially for those stopping by from a cruise like we did, as it’s a five minute walk from the cruise terminal, and you can get a good variety of dishes here from char kuay teow to Hokkien prawn mee to the famous Nasi lemak (just RM2.5!) It’s nice that stalls open in the morning for an early bite and there’s good coffee at the drinks stall. Toilets and paid parking on site.

The stall “Delicious Taste of China”, one of the first stalls on the left, has three vegetarian options. Spring onion fried noodle (RM 7), another fried noodle which is spicy, and a Chinese chive pie (RM 4). I had the spring onion fried noodle, was simple and delicious. Good vegetarian options and menu shows obvious vegetarian symbol.

Located right in the middle of the CBD of Penang, this place is always packed especially during lunch time of office hours. There have been some changes to the stall before and after the pandemic. But some of the good ones are still there such as the fried rice stall and the fish bihun/vermicelli. The food court recently implemented another new rule to patrons on drink-ordering.

Before all the dainty coffeeshops started sprouting like mushrooms in Penang, the Sri Weld Food Court used to be the only place people could go grab something while waiting for their passports to be done. This food court has been here for more than 10 years and brings back memories of when my parents brought me to eat when I was younger. The food is okay.ok pricing as well. You'll have to pay for your parking ticket tho! (I took pictures of all the stalls available 😊)

19/12/19 The nasi lemak is extraordinary. The rice is small and fragrant. The sambal chilli is nice but very spicy. You can ask them to pack separately without the chilli if you have young children. They can also add egg if you ask for it. The rice is the best.

Famous mee goreng mamak style. With additional sambal dried sotong paste. Add extra sotong only sell at RM7, very big portion and worth for money.

I came here for breakfast. It was nicely busy but I had no troubles finding a table. I fancied western food and made a beeline for the western stall. A ham and cheese toasted sandwich was only Rm 4. When I sat down, another lady asked me if i wanted a drink. I went for an iced coffee for Rm 1.90. Both were decent and good value for money.
