I booked this hotel for 4 nights, but after the first night I decided to stay just for one night The Staff are very friendly and helpful But, from the 7th floor I could hear all the car noises and music, the bed mattress is hard, at 3 am I woke up and realized that the AC is just blowing air and not cooling, called the reception and they informed me that the AC won’t be cooling until 6-7am Rooms are small but that’s not an excuse to me

It's a good hotel, not fancy but it does the job. Do not use their products especially the hair products because you will have hard time brushing your hair after. It's a nice hotel, old but well preserved. The staff is nice but they don't systematically speak English. For a two/three days stop it's ok but more I wouldn't advise it.

This is a disastrous experience. Start with the worst: 1. I booked this hotel because of inside and outside pools. When I checked in, was told BOTH inside and outside pools WERE not usable. The inside pool is under renovation till 25 April and outside pool will be opened only after 10th (?) of May. If you need a pool, I don’t recommend here. The biggest disappointment. If no pool, I did not choose here. 2. The first room I was assigned was so small, facing West. There are two types of rooms: Type A and Type B. Type B is too small for two people - you can’t open two suitcases. I was told that it was a wrong room assignment and changed to the type A which is specious and adequate. 3. the first night AC did not work (warm air was coming in it was very hot day). We were told AC was only available from 1 April. We let a window open as it was too hot to sleep and had mosquito bites… AC was on the second night (30 March) and was able to sleep. 4. Key cards did not work properly. I needed to go to reception at least 7 times to re-coding.. which was extremely annoying. 5. Asked to help a train booking to go to Samarkand, was told to go by a car instead as the trains were full and it would not be available on the same day. We booked a car and paid in full. The next day we saw many train seats became available. While the car was comfortable and a driver was very nice, courteous, 10 hours of car ride were too long. On the way back, the driver did not take any rest and it made us concern of our safety. Also was told many times that it would be overcharged if we leave after 17:00 even though we booked the car one hour later than 6:00AM and the car came even later than the our booked time of 7:00AM. 6. I asked a housekeeping to clean the room during my absence 12:00-16:00 and put the request sign at 12:00. The house keeper came at 16:30 when my spouse was taking a shower but asked him to leave the room as she needed to clean the room and our room was the last (she needed to go home). But why she came so late ? And why she asked my husband to leave the room in a middle of taking a shower? There is a communication problem as the housekeeper did not speak English at all. 6. The hotel restaurant was only ok. The main buffet (breakfast and dinner) was fine. The Opera Restaurant was not. they charge 20% of service though their service was less than optimal (slow and not understanding/forgetting what we asked…food was not great… 7. Please do not use the hotel hair conditioner as others mentioned. Very low quality product and after it my hair got stuck,, can’t comb … While all the above happened, there are pros: location is very good and a guest relation manager Zukhura was great to calm down my nerve many times (while reception staff are young and inexperienced). Type A room is a spacious. Therefore my rating is still three stars ! Hope I have another chance to visit Tashkent and have a better experience.

Staff is very friendly and kind. The rooms are in principal okay, but the mattress was unexpectedly hard (still was okay for me) and the room definitely need some modernization.

I was very pleased with the SPA services. Asanova Esmira, the spa manager, was very friendly and willing to help. My massage was great. Amirova Natalia was very professional. Highly recommend.

Visited Gloria Jean's cafe and the staff was poorly trained. The waiters looked a little lost, inattentive and rude, I don't think the staff fit the potential of the cafe. The food was OK, nothing too special.

High class hotel in top location. Breakfast is outstanding and tops many excellent hotels in Europe. Lovely and attentive service everywhere and amazing language skills of employees in all divisions. Fair quality price ratio!

Excellent location, helpful staff, diverse breakfast. Tea, coffee and kettle available in the room, as well as bottled water for free. There is an iron with ironing table also. Underground station and bazaar, to find local products, is within a walking distance.

Dear guests of whyndham, hi everyone, i have got to mention that Bokhodir manager came to me to say not to stay and order any drink in Whyndham. That's why i don't recommend anyone to stay here. When I asked for the explanation, they didn't give me any further details.

We had a very nice, relaxing day at the pool during a hot summer day in busy Tashkent. However, things turned when my girlfriend lost her phone. The Wyndham staff did everything they could to help us to search for the phone. The spa manager even stayed overtime with us to look for the lost phone in the dark, and the security even showed us some footage to see if the phone was still there. Unfortunately the phone was never been found, and we may have lost it in at taxi. Anyway, this level of service (while only having a day-pass for pool access) is unheard of in my country. A very big thanks again to the staff, who were extremely helpful and polite. Next time when I am visiting Tahskent – business or pleasure- I will 100% choose this hotel.

Literally, no complains, I can’t relate any of the one star review for this hotel, everything was 10/10, staff are well mannered and very welcoming, I’d book it again and recommend it too, for visitors they will charge you 33 USD.

We had the worst experience at the check in ever a staff member named Akhmadjon was lying to us at the check in representing himself As the manager then saying to us Tommorrow the manager will be available. So why insulting our intelligence and lying to us?? The Mattress was terrible. It takes normally a lot to make me discomfort able but this Hotel and especially Akhmadjon Succeeded

Very nice place. We'd love to stay there again. We stayed at the hotel 9 days, friendly personal, lovely Turkish breakfast, clean rooms and location is very good, you can walk wherever you wanna go in the centrum.

Honestly I was expecting better standards from Wyndham. I was on the second floor and the shower pressure was terrible and the water temperature was not hot AT ALL. I even spoke the management and they even sent someone up but he couldn't do anything. When you come back to your hotel after a long day working you're really looking forward to a hot shower to relax and when it's a lukewarm shower that really spoils the whole hotel experience. So not a good experience at all. Also when we were checking out the desk staff were going to charge us for an extra day. It was only after we explained basic maths that they understood that that was wrong. They gave us souvenirs to compensate tho so that was nice. Still didn't make up for the shower.

Stayed for 4 nights this week visiting the city with the family. Pleasant place, clean and decent facilities. But there were two main issues that the team at the hotel were unable to solve. Climate control. I've stayed in hotels all round the world but unbelievable that the hotel rooms do no have climate control. In this day an age in a 4 star property. I was told as this is winter season only heating works. Only solution provided was to keep the window open all night. I did but only opens to 45 degree angle. Room was too hot. Also noise from the road outside meant any sleep was off the table anyway. So hardly any sleep for 4 nights. Pillows. There are no options of pillows. All of them are very large and bulky. Surely a hotel of this standard needs to give some options. So there was no sleep anyway due to the heat and even fewer chances as the pillows were too bulky. Even worse as we had children with us and booked two rooms. As an international brand I suggest hotel management look into the above points. To improve their customer experience. I'll need to visit next year for work but won't be able to stay at the Wyndham or recommend it based on the above. Thank you.

Nice hotel. Beds have super hard mattress. Rooms clean and tidy. Bath/shower not very big as screen closes you in ans not much room for a tall larger person. Room phone kept falling apart, needs some technology upgrades. Restaurant/cafe food was lovely. The service was better coordinated with the women than the men. Didn't use pool or gym but had a look and they look well maintained.

I stayed at the same building when it was managed by Dedeman Hotels, many years ago... Rooms havent been changed, a little outdated. Staff is friendly but lack in English language. Breakfast was extra ordinary. I especially liked the variety of salads. The live egg station has good omelette options. The coffee at the breakfast was high quality freshly ground coffee.

Nice hotel in the centre of the city. Large comfortable rooms. Good restaurant. Large outdoor swmming pool at about 5 feet deep. A second smaller, shallower pool nearby. Bar at poolside and food available. Staff friendly.

Wyndham was a rather good hotel but I have problems with it been classified as a 5 star hotel. The rooms are small and the furniture is rather old. I could see that the hotel was a 5 star hotel 15-20 years a go but it surely is not a 5 star hotel now.

Wyndham Tashkent is the best hotel in Tashkent. It’s centrally located. The staff are warm and friendly. Thanks to Mr. Sherzod Artikov Front Office Manager who made my stay wonderful. This will be my hotel of choice whenever I am in Tashkent. I highly recommend this place.

Actually a nice hotel, good location, good food, HOWEVER something fundamental is completely missing! English is definitely not widely spoken well enough. I don't except people to be fluent. The staff in the restaurants are too young and not well educated enough! As a non-smoker you are asked to sit either outside or in a boring remote section / corner which doesn't give you the nice feeling of restaurant. Smokers however can enjoy the comfort of the restaurant. The reception didn't understand our complain and the "manager" did seem to care and suggested us to eat outside with noise of cars. I'm currently staying here and I'm very angry! The waiter gave us the drinks AFTER finishing our meal in the boring non-smoker section!
