That place would be the best relaxing and enjoying with wine I ever. Very fresh air, wide area where you can walk and look around, very nature view for photographing, quiet and cool. Tasting the wine with bird’s music. Vacation time would be perfect such place. For me I would go and enjoy the taste of nature whenever I could.

This is a beautiful place. The grounds are lovely. The setting with vineyards and mountains... Wow. We only tried the one bottle of red. It was a Shiraz I believe. That was tasty. I almost dropped a star because they advertised BBQ, like Western style. It may hit the mark for Southeast Asia, but is not up to snuff for anyone from the West hoping for BBQ. Maybe I shouldn't have expected it to and not ordered it. I guess that's on me. Otherwise a delightful place near Taunggyi.

If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit. The views are stunning and it is a great place to catch the sunset. They have 2 white wines, a rose and a red. Personally, I only liked the red, but all are worth a try. We went for dinner. The local dishes were great, the western ones were not. You could arrive around 3.30 to 4pm, walk around the vineyard and then enjoy some wine with an early meal. Nyaung Shwe is only a 30 minute scenic taxi ride.

Apthaya Sunset Wine Garden Restaurant The farm itself is quiet and cozy. And the weather is nice even though it's mid April. I visit this winery during water festival season and they are open for business. Unfortunately for wine lovers...wine tasting of 4 different types (for 2000 KS per person) is unavailable during this period. The 4 wines include Aythaya white Sauvingnon blanc, late harvest, rose and red. I tired out their Rose wine and it's quite lovely and crisp. A glass (150 ml) for 2800 KS. The restaurant provides food both local and western. It's is also family friendly. Children can enjoy walking around.

This farm is a famous vineyard in Taung Gyi. You can enjoy a variety of wine tastings while relaxing.

A great place to taste some genuine Burmese, or should I say Shan, wines. The Sauvignon Blanc is of mediocre quality, but the Shiraz / Dornfelder was actually quite tasty. The views from the terrace are pretty, especially during sunset. We were there during harvest, so could not enter the vineyard unfortunately. The staff is friendly, but some hospitality training could only improve that...

Sunset view was wonderful. Wine tasting at 3SGD! Beef steak in red wine and waffles not much to shout but considered quite ex dining in Taunggyi.
