this was the best property where we stayed in our entire myanmar trip. truely out of the world. excellent and serene location. beautiful interiors. great ambience. could never imagine a small place in myanmar will have such a wonderful place to stay. my only regret is that i was here for a very short time ! reached here late night and left it early in the morning after capturing the breathtaking sunrise. would definitely visit it again in this life if possible. only problem was that it took us a lot of time to locate this property as the roads were dark without streetlights and no help available to direct us to this location. in fact it took us one hour in locating this property at night.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Myanmar. The extensive grounds are stunning. You can take long walks by the lake, swim in the pool or just relax on the balcony of your room. The rooms are not as nice as the grounds, simply because they are past their prime and in need of a renovation. In their present state they are acceptable, but the heavy dependence on wood furniture that has poorly aged takes away from an otherwise beautiful experience.

Fabulous hotel that is better than many of Bangkok's five star hotels. Very well designed with real feelings of ancient opulent grandeur. The rooms are well appointed with large balconies spectacular views of the golden pagoda across the lake. The restaurant is top notch at very cheap prices indeed.

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. It all looks nice initially but then the “flaws” reveal themselves. First the beds, these are the worst beds in any hotel that I have ever slept in! You might as well sleep on the floor. There are no blackout curtains in the rooms which isn’t great when they keep floodlights to light up the buildings on the whole night. Food quality in the restaurant is mediocre and way too expensive. Service is very friendly but unprofessional. And then they have 2 price list for services like the spa. 1 for locals and 1 for tourists which is twice as expensive. Overall an experience that will not be repeated. I rate this hotel 1-2 stars.

Nice place.. So much green and frog. And the wifi is available only at lobby and dinning room.

Beautiful , peaceful surroundings. Food not so great but everything else is very nice. Read a book beside the lake, coffee by the pool...

Nice views and good environment with fresh air and big room but sometimes experience power shortages and insects in the room. Otherwise, Wi-Fi was good and staff was helpful and welcoming!

Warm and helpful staffs. Bathroom towels should be renewed. No WiFi connection at rooms. But you can use wifi internet connection only at the lobby.

Best hotel in town! Make sure you keep breakfast cupons safe and bring them at breakfast. Staff in the hotel restaurant is very serious about it.

Nice view, got fresh air if you choose lake view side. Stay there for a single room it's clean and tidy, friendly staff & poor wifi.

Great rooms, hotelsand setting! They do everything they can to reduce the mosquito impact. Breakfast was cooked to order, and okay, nothing special. Swimming pool okay, bit murky, gym rubbish, nothing worked

Lots of bugs. There’s bugs everywhere, on pillows, bathroom, bed and especially the lobby. I believe there are more than 100 species of bugs. The lobby is full of bugs, stop moving and there will be about 6-8 bugs on you, hair, legs, arms, clothes, and even on your face.

Really nice hotel in Taung-Ngu. It's design based on myanmar palace from Taung-Ngu dynasty. Clean rooms, swimming pool, very big hotel area. Breakfast is not good. And although staffs are cool, I felt manager didn't give a good care for visitors.

May be the best hotel in Taungoo. Buggy service available within hotel. A few water sports. But at night, the hotel is too dark for my liking. They only lit candle like bulbs and yet some of them are broken. Look like an old haunted mansion.

It's old so don't expect good security on some doors but the rooms are large with spectacular view of the Lake, with a view seeing the pagoda. Staffs are nice, they even wrap your food in plastic to not get any dust in it because the hotel is huge and they have to walk a long way. This hotel was a great experience to me because I can get views, exercise and get fully rejuvinated after a long day of touring the city.
