I have trained with Evolution Martial Arts for over 10 years now and I’ve always enjoyed the training environment. I have trained in Taekwondo, Kickboxing and even Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I’ve always been impressed by how welcoming the instructors and other students are as well as the instruction and skills learnt in each session. The lessons are well structured and with a good intensity where you feel you get a great workout. It’s clear to see why lead instructor, Francis, is on the England TKD coaching staff with his knowledge and clarity which has given me the confidence to even compete at competitions, where I’ve been lucky enough to come away with a few gold medals. The main thing I love about the club is that it feels like an extended family where I’ve made lots of friends and connections, many of which I’m friends with away from the club. I couldn’t recommend Evolution Martial Arts highly enough - and with the variety of lessons for all ages, I recommend it to everyone!

Great club, with classes for children and adults. At the most recent sparring competition the winner in the adult category was 60-years-old. So, you are never too old to take up martial arts. My son is 9 and has been going for 1 year, he absolutely loves it.

Want to train from zero, with a supportive but challenging environment? Francis and the other students are fantastically welcoming and patient - even when I couldn't catch my breath for several portions of the class due to my 25 years of bodily abuse and lack of exercise! I cannot recommend Evolution enough.

I have had nothing but great experiences with evolution martial arts over the years. The staff are friendly and really know how to coach everyone to a high standard. What ever your own personal goal is. They will help you achieve it. The atmosphere is always great and warm. The confidence I have developed throughout my years training here has carried over into all aspects of my life including my career and I firmly believe the best decision I made was join the evolution family!

My son has been visiting Evolution for about a Year and he has really enjoyed it. He tried other martial arts clubs in Taunton but didn’t like them. He really likes the way the instructors treat the students, calm and patient, and is progressing very well. The way the club has handled things during the pandemic has been exemplary and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our daughter started at Evolution Martial Art Centre a couple of years ago, it is amazing the staff are very friendly. She loves going to the classes. The staff are amazing with the children and the quality of the work they get the children doing means they progress well. We would definitely recommend Evolution Martial Arts it’s definitely helped our daughter come out of her shell.

They are reliable, flexible, very accommodating and provide highly professional and friendly sessions. Fantastic club with a really friendly atmosphere. Francis, Chrissy & Katie are excellent teachers & brilliant with kids. They always go the extra mile. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Evolution Martial Arts. My 8 year old son has been going since he was 4 & he still looks forward to every lesson. Definitely give it a try.
