My favorite Burger King, but ､､the staff were unfriendly and unkind. Burger and potatoes were lukewarm and horrible. I came in early in the morning, but the door to the toilet was so dirty that I didn't want to touch it ⤵️ The view from the shop is amazing, but it's ､､､､⤵︎⤵︎

One of my items that I bought was crispy dippers large size. It is the smallest quantity I’ve ever seen, didn’t even bother filling half the box for this. Paid nearly $6 dollars and didn’t even receive $3 worth

Seriously if I could give Taupo Burger King Zero star and complete this review I would have, they can't get the orders right leaving out burgers (pretty important), never have stock of what's on the menu, and taking orders for burgers, making yourself wait and then telling you that they are of of stock when get to the payment window, and arguing with customers over their orders. That's just the last (the very last cent I spend) 3 times I have gone there. Burger King (which I normally like) Taupo doing you proud NOT!

Service was very average, not a very competent operator but was possibly a trainee. Food was just ok but no real care taken in the preparation. The outlet was unfortunately filthy with plenty of food scraps on the floor, table's and rubbish outside. Unfortunately one of the staff came out and sat in the dining area to attend to her phone amongst the rubbish. I think staff need to be aware of their surroundings. Would we be back, well there are plenty of options nearby.

Staff did not seem quiet as friendly. Tables and floors were dirty. No easy access to napkins... Nor supplied with order. Food was good.

Absolutely disgusting, been a fan of bk for ever now that I have moved to taupo I can safely say I am happy to not eat your rank food again our order was missing 2 rodeo burgers, the one we got tasted like it had been left in the warmer for days, same with the bk chicken which is got to be the simpiliest burger to construct. Drinks tasted like soda water, chips were so old I'm sure you scrapped them off the floor. Why bk taupo can't cook there food fresh amazes me, funny thing is if you make a complaint on the website they just ignore you so you get ripped off for 2 rodeo burgers and are expected to wear the cost yourself. Thank god Mcdonalds is next door and know how to cook food. Out of a bk chicken super value feed absolutely everything was disgusting. Catch you later bk. Ps the fact the minimum wage is so high I expect quality not feral rubbish. Plz close ya doors for good this says 1 star it should be a negative 5 star review.

It was around 9pm they said there restaurant had closed due to eftpos issues but still would not serve me and my friend and we had cash aswell the refused our service veey unprofessional so we went to the macdonlads right next door instead they werw more friendnly and helpful

Now.. my two little gremlins are very picky with what they eat and they demolished this meal! The hubby enjoyed as well (a first!) and ‘twas delivered very quickly! The reason this is a 4 star perhaps is the amount of crumbs and crust everywhere… still 9/10 top notch.

Warning alert stay away. As someone else said - Don't do it, this is the worst BK I've ever had world wide. Staff rude, food chips cold, burger meat burnt and dry. Manager and owners clearly don't care and rely on idiots like us wanting BK and getting nothing but stomach ache. Got take away so to long to go back to complain. Ashamed I gave it to the Possums to eat on highway 5!

Was sitting in the drive through for 8 minutes with only the automated message, when I asked to place my order was told the are not placing orders and to wait. There were no other vehicles in front of me as well as the staff member who told me to just wait was very rude and didn’t sound like he wanted to be there. Quite disappointed in the service from bk lately, the used to be awesome but every time I’ve ordered it tried to lately it’s been cold or wrong order or won’t even take my order.

We ordered two 20 packs of chicken nuggets., yet we only got 21 which we realised when we had gotten back home. Not only was the service terrible, but all three of us ended up with food poisoning the next day. Don’t recommend this bk at all

The food was good but one thing I can say is that we once ordered onion rings and we didn't get none!! Service was alright. But yeah I guess its pretty good.

A very busy restaurant. Food and service was satisfactory but I didn't feel comfortable in the restaurant for some reason. Would probably return.

I love the food here! I always come here to buy some chicken fries! The staff are very nice and friendly, overall i love the atmostphere here

Irritated cashier with no patience, substandard burgers, nothing like the pictures, dirty restrooms. We don't eat out alot, prefer home meals, this was a stop on a trip from Wellington to Auckland, not recommended

Chicken fries are always over cooked or have been sitting too long in the warmer, always fight sauces you ask for. Other than that, the staff have improved.

We firstly used the toilet then decided not to eat here as they were filthy. There is more to cleaning toilets than cleaning the bowl.

walked in, watching simon walk past me 6 times before he even bothered to offer me service and then still couldn’t help me with what I needed. Great service! The one star is because I can’t give you zero. I hope to see you improve in the future simon!!!

After walking out of kfc, thought I'd try drive through BK. Rude incoherent service had to repeat my order 5 times and they still fukd it up.

It's just fast food and yes there's toilets. It quicker here than watching the Mac Donald's line on the opposite side of the parking lot

These mofoz burnt the hell out my patties. Then I watched as they locked their doors while customers were still dining in (no signage was posted whatsoever). At least 8 potential customers were trying to open the door and with most of them opting to go to McDonald's who's management of foot traffic was clearly better. Get BETTER...

Pretty average really. Said they were open to 10pm but we arrived 9.15 and told drive thru. Tried the crispy dippers - rip off!! For a large, $5 something, there were 15 fries!! They are just fried potato cut weirdl. Just continually over priced soggy food.

Got a really cold burger today everything in it was cold and cheese was not melted at all, almost as if they forgot to cook it or heat it up or whatever. Pretty disgusting considering it’s one of the better places to eat in Taupo

Tbh I like burger King a lot but when I went to it today I had the worst customer service ever! Now I'm not hatter but it took them over an hour to say to go through the drive through so my advice put a sign next time. Overall I liked everything except for the bad customer service

The place was pretty disgusting. We were there for like 20 minutes and two tables of eaten food were left there the whole time we were there, and before we even arrived. The floors were covered in trash. Food was ok, but still recommend going to the McDonald's next door.

Hi I don't usually complain when getting fast food as I never really expect too much for what I am paying . But when I went through the drive through today at Taupo there was a very very large sign advertising the new sweet sour burger value meal for $5 when I went through to place my order they informed me it was now $6 due to a price increase . That's fine but take the time to alter your signage technically they are obliged to honour the incorrect pricing as they have it displayed .

Customer service here was non existent. Had to wait to be acknowledged even though we were the only ones in the store. My burger was tasteless and the pattie was barely warm. Rubbish bins were overflowing, the floor was filthy and we couldn't find a table that was clean. Cant recommend this place

Karan, the manager at the Taupo branch was quite rude. He served another lady before me, although I was clearly there first, and I felt discriminated against. When I pointed out I was there earlier, he apologised, but then barked excuse after excuse at me as to why he'd done that, and made me feel worse. The food was ok but I won't be back.

Staff are ALWAYS rude, have never seen one of them smile. The only good thing about this place are the Hershey pies. Every time I’ve bought churros here they have always been undercooked. ASKED FOR CHOCOLATE AND GOT CARAMEL SAUCE >:(

Indian lady (accent) at the drive through speaker was very pushy, not cool when you're trying to organise a van load of kids, though in her defence I should've been sorted because the wait was very long! 45min after ordering and half the kids burgers were cold. I was to annoyed to go back and if they didn't have such affordable feeds in comparison to Macas I'd never go back

Terrible! Waited over 30mins with less than 10 cars in the drive-thru. McDonalds next door, had a line 3 times longer and got through it before we reached the ordering screen. Chips were cold and stale.

Honestly, the burgers wasn't that great but the chips were nice. However, the drink machine was warm as and flat. No ice to top it off. The toilets needed a clean 😞

Don't do it! It's your own fault if you do, as there are so many other options close by. Clearly the owner doesn't care about business or they would be serious about who they employed, or giving them some basic training. Cold rubbery food with a flat warm coke, and to top it off rude service where they don't talk to you but just thumbs up to you.
