Wooton Park is a great place. It's not too big but it provides a nice atmosphere for walking and relaxing. Many nice sights to take in and great places to eat too.

There is a big play place for kids. A floating bridge to walk out into and sea planes on the water. This park is beautiful to walk thru, lovely scenery!

9/25/23 - the new playground is open! Very well done, lots of things for big and little kids. Splash pad still has construction fencing around it.

Great first experience! HUGE wooden play space! Beautiful views on the water! Gazebos to enjoy! We did a moms paint night while the kids played. Only down side was bathrooms were all locked up.

Beautiful park with a walkway alongside the lake. Seaplane trips available for a price. Plenty of seating and shaded areas. The splash pad is currently closed as of August 2023. No signage I dictating when it will reopen.

Been here in Central Florida 10 years and never knew this place was here until a Pride event was scheduled there. Is a really nice place to check out.

What a charming park, it made me feel like I was walking through The Garden Of Eden. The water park was closed for a local event but sure looked like a great place for children to enjoy. The restaurants were reserved for an event for the upcoming weekend which was a bit of a bummer, but also an excuse to return at a later date.

Beautiful and clean park surrounded by lush landscaping and large oak trees. Felt very safe in the area. Very family friendly. The playground is a wooden one so splinters are possible. Great views of the lake and area. Lots of paved sidewalks for strolling.

This was actually a boating destination with the grandkids. We boated through a couple of lakes and Dora Canal. Then we stopped at Wooton for a couple hours to eat and let the kids play. It made for a great day trip. There was plenty of space and playground activity. Some shops are close by including restaurants. We would do it again.

Beautiful playground for the kids, this is where we take the grandkids, love the views of the lake can also watch the sea planes taking off and landing

Gorgeous park on the water. Landscaping is beautiful, the kids playground is big with everything, tons of benches and little picnic nooks (a few covered). Public bathrooms that could use a little facelift. Lots of parking in front of the seaplanes, sidewalks, wildlife, and a dockside restaurant.

A fun little park on Lake Eustis. We were just there for a quick visit, but it was clean and well laid out. Benches are metal but not hot. The pavilion is a really neat building!

This is a late review. I visited Wooten Park on 10-20-2020. The view of the lake was beautiful and relaxing.

Nice park with the added coolness of seaplanes. Quite a few large trees to provide shade. We put our chairs under a big tree right by the water with a great view of the plains and pleasure boats. Really enjoyed our time together at this park.

Amazing and peaceful place. The city hosts Planes Tunes and BBQ here and it really is incredible. Video is of their first ever drone show.

Beautiful Park with lots of space for sitting by the water. There are plenty of pier to walk by into the water. We even got to see a alligator in the water. There are lots of little squirrel around too. The nature is beautiful here and on a good weather this is perfect place for a evening stroll or a great place for food too... there are lots of options around.

Playground and splash pad are closed. Not sure when it will be open again but it looks like it's close to done. Beautiful area to walk around and watch the planes on the lake. Good bathrooms and trail around the lake.

What a unique and special park this is! If you are from outside of Florida you may especially delight in watching seaplanes land and takeoff or enjoy a ride. Nice mature trees and walking paved and easy for mobility. Beware we saw alligator in water and there are signs. It was lovely at sunset!! The playground appeared to be closed for repairs. We really enjoyed the Tavares Seaplane park!

It's a good place for the kids. Outside to the park you can get a nice sidewalk

This is one of the nicer splash pads our family has been to. It has large trees which offer great shade and benches around the interior which makes it comfortable for parents to sit and observe their kids. The cost of admission is $2 cash per person, even for adults not participating and tiny babies, no complaints, just passing on what we learned. If you don't have cash, there is an ATM just down the street. Great park also features a nice playground just steps away from the splash pad.

Nice place to bring your children on a hot day to cool off in the water park or just walk around and get exercise. Maybe even go rent a kayak or bring your own and paddle around the lake. Also can go for a ride in a seaplane, for a price of course, at one of the seaplane tours businesses. I believe there are two of them nearby. End your day at one of the local restaurants with a few drinks and some food, possibly w/ some live music depending on where you go. If you're with the kids or still have some of the kid left in you then the ice cream parlor would make a nice choice.
