My over all experience at this hospital was great. The gentleman in registration that set me up for my X-ray. He guide me as to where I needed to be. Also the technician was very friendly and comforting. As for the first 2 people I seen coming into the hospital need to be more friendlier. I realize they deal with a lot of different people but you are working with the public at least at like you want to be at your job.

My last visit to the ER was because of a rusty nail went into my foot while working , it was not that good because of one nurse. That nurse had some bad attitude ,definitely not to the level of such organization ,, she didn’t even bother herself and clean my wounded foot and put a new bandage on it , I left the hospital with the same bandage that I had to put on after the injury , and at the end she was rushing me to sign the paper for the release even though I asked her few questions about my case and she was like can you just sign this paper, it was a really bad experience with her specifically. In the other hand , the doctor was awesome, she took good care of me and was great at explaining things to me . I give 5 stars to the doctor and 1 star to the nurse .

My wife and I both agree that we will not return to Waterman Hospital again. Our experience was poor. Waterman hospital did not have the resources nor the professional expertise to properly diagnose our daughters ailment. We had to wait over 10 hours for transport. Due to the prolonged delay we decided to discharge our daughter and take her to the Orlando Advent Children’s Hospital ourselves. We were told that Waterman did not have the proper diagnosticians to pinpoint the exact cause of our daughters pain. The care was absolutely poor. Right before we decided to discharge our daughter one of the ER doctors came in to pay us a visit. He told us that our daughter had appendicitis and that the CAT scan and all x-rays were reviewed. The problem with that was our daughter never received a CAT scan or x-ray at that time. The doctor clearly did not review what treatment had been given to our daughter throughout the night. AdventHealth, please encourage all your doctors to review patient charts before they walk into a patient’s room. We will not be visiting Waterman hospital or recommend any of our family or friends to go to Waterman. They boast a “world class” children’s hospital facility that does not live up to the advertisement. Several other patients who were also in the emergency room that night had to be transported to other locations. In my opinion, Waterman hospital is nothing but a glorified urgent care. I really hope somebody that has the power to Bring change will read this review and create a better experience for future families who decide to take their children to the emergency room at Waterman. I would like to say that our experience at the Orlando AdventHealth was superior and our daughter received the proper care and diagnosis that she needed in order to be treated. Thank you !

This was my 2nd time and the experience was so much better. Janice the RN that took care of me was the most caring and compassionate nurse. The doctor was excellent and explained everything where I understood it. Even the patient care techs and CT techs were so kind. So much better than the first visit.

Exceptional staff made everything a great experience. Even the Doctors! I always appreciate the nurses and various technicians and cleaning staff, but you read that right, the Doctors were kind and knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel like they were just ordering tests randomly. Waterman Hospital is well cared for and you will be as well. I still prefer to not need a hospital but everything here went smoothly and even the food is good now.

When I first went in, I was greeted at the front desk and told right where to go for my procedure. The young man helped me with getting signed and it made sure my Medicare will cover it.. I was so nervous that morning, but I’m telling you the two nurses when I went in Stephanie and her assistant gave me such peace and were so very nice as well as professional,. The radiologist came in and explained everything that she was going to do and made me very comfortable. I did not feel any pain and told me step-by-step what she was doing. When she was done with the biopsy, they gave me the paperwork and step-by-step on what I needed to do when I went home. They even called me the day after to check on me. Thank you everyone who helped me through this procedure that day.

Very professional and careing doctors and staff. Thanks for repairing my broken hip, and the food was good too. Wish I could have stayed longer.

I am shocked to see 4 stars and so many good reviews here on Google for Waterman Hospital. I'm a long term resident of the area with many years of experience with Waterman. When I discuss the care at Waterman with others in the community I would expect 2 to 3 stars at the most. My mother was recently admitted to Waterman after 3 emergency room visits in 3 days. It was not good. The care here is very hit or miss. The most recent experience with the emergency room added to experiences with care for my mother-in-law as well as personal experiences in various departments of this hospital over the past several years ensure that I will do whatever I can to seek care elsewhere. Over the years I keep hoping things will get better but they can't seem to consistently provide very quality service. I am able to compare them to the service with Advent in Orlando which has provided me with exceptional care over the last 4 years. My concerns expressed to Waterman hospital have been met with no response. My recommendation would be to seek care elsewhere when possible.

I was very impressed with how AdventHealth Waterman has changed, not only in cleanliness, but also the whole staff from Dr's & nurses,Techs , transport persons and the dietary personnel. Oh,yes, the food was Great. They pinpointed my problem and immediately jumped to get me well. I spent 7 days there recently, was sent home well on to recovering. All of my heart felt thanks to all who helped make me feel great again. This was the view from my room.

I just want to say I came in after 12am and I got the best treatment. The staff were very professional in nice. Mr. Kemal at the front desk as soon as you walk in was a very nice gentleman, and very patient with everyone who came in to be treated. And when I got to the back the nurses were nice, loving, and caring. Even the nice lady who preformed ultrasounds if I’m not mistaking her name was Ms. Camellia. She was very professional in caring while doing her job. And Mr. Jeff was an awesome nurse. He informed me that everything will be alright and that I was in the best care. And Dr. Boemer I think that’s his name is a very nice doctor. He has a lot of patience even when under pressure. The whole night shift deserves a round of applause. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Great job and keep up all the good work to my older mature doctors, nurses, and etc. Waterman Hospitals rocks.

I had a kidney stone and had to get surgery for it. This hospital is absolutely amazing! The staff was awesome. They are very nice and helpful. Everyone here from the nurses to the surgeon has been very kind and patient with me. All my questions, concerns, and fears were put at ease. They literally made my experience here have faith in humans. My RN is Tamara and she has gone above and beyond for my comfort. My surgeon is awesome. Mary was my nurse during surgery. My pre op girls were awesome also. Thank you so much for making me feel like I mattered in every step of the way. I appreciate your hard work and patience. Thank you thank you for all you have done for me and others. ❤️🙏❤️🙏

The lobby is beautiful and calming. I was called back to radiology and the aides and RT were relational and helpful. Good experience if you must have a CT.

This was my mom's first hospital stay, from Thanksgiving day until Saturday, and both of us were very nervous. The staff of 3 North were wonderful, they were all so friendly, kind and helpful. Dr. Goss was very informative and reassuring. Everyone made a very stressful time much easier to get through and we really appreciated it.

I went to the hospital for stomach pain to find out that I had a few things going on with me. The entire staff that was on my care team was exceptional! Everybody took the time to explain everything, walk me through every process, and made sure that I was in a positive state of mind the entire time! Everybody from the ER staff, to the Nurses and Techs on 5 South, to the hospitalist, the surgeon, and specialists were amazing! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience at AdventHealth Waterman!!

The nurses and staff were WONDERFUL! I was very nervous going in because I've never been under anesthesia before and they really made me feel comfortable. They explained everything to me step by step with patience, answered all of my questions with understanding and they made me feel very cared for. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart!

Nursing staff was wonderful. The infectious disease doc was the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. She came in ( I think she had a student with her) never introduced herself. Looked at mikes Foley pointed to the IV antibiotics said 12 days maybe at home and left. Never explained the infection or treatment. I had to go out and have the nurse explain what was going on. My mom was very sick and was taken by ambulance to Advent Health Waterman. From the moment she arrived, the care that was given to her from admission all the way to the doctors, nurses, care givers, lab techs, radiologists, transfer team, housekeeping and every one that I didn't mention was unbelievably amazing. They have given my mom the very best care. They even have a live video translator that they take to the room if there's a language barrier. Everyone is so compassionate and caring. They actually listened to my concerns and the doctors took the time to talk to me and explain to us what exactly was wrong with my mom and how they were treating her. I was shocked when the Actual doctor called me on the phone and was very nice and explained his care plan. I would recommend this hospital 100%.

I had a heart attack. ER visit. Sent to ICU. No recoup available as Nurses horseplay at night, thus I was up for 18 hours. Next day I was told I would be transferred to another floor. They came for me at 9:30 after no sleep. I lay in my feces the whole time there. I left. I was told my prescription was called in. Nope. I had to go back to ER to have prescription called in. Cost $1,000. Advent Waterman hospital is HORRIBLE

My 87 year old Mom needed two surgeries back to back in two days. First she was taken to WP and then had a second surgery in Tavares. The nurses and their assistants were amazing. Dwarma, Ashley, Renata, Katie and Terence treated my Mother with respect and kindness. They are to be applauded. It was an honor to work w such professional and caring people. These people deserve a 10!!!

Great hospital for not only inpatient care but in addition, outpatient procedures. I had an ultrasound , appointment on time and staff was very professional and caring. To my surprise, the results were in my patient portal 24 hours later..Now what does that say? Everyone was doing their job and doing it well.

Extremely deceptive in billing. Began with Dr. Guru in Ortho. I simply asked what costs I would be responsible for. Dr. Guru’s office referred me to the hospital, saying they handle all that. Hospital was confused I called but gave me a quote of my responsibility. I payed it. After my procedure I would receive two more bills, one lower from anesthesia and another large one from Dr. Guru himself, none of which I was told about after asking THREE times! Of course I called to inquire on these mistakes but was told I was made aware of the billing through a QR code given to me. That is a car salesman type terrible way to tell somebody about the charges they will be responsible for, never minding I never received that. Didn’t matter because they said I did and their word against me, so I lost. I called to complain about the charges, I was told “Our bad, but services rendered so pay the bill”. I asked to speak to a supervisor, who proceeded to tell me exact same thing! Worst service I ever experienced from people who are supposed to care! I never needed the procedure, only went for the low price I was quoted, THREE times, only to be scammed and threatened with collections if I don’t pay!!!

I wanted to take a moment to say Thank you to all the staff members who helped me during a very scary ER trip this morning! From the time I walked in the door to the time I was wheeled out l, EVERYONE was super polite and kind! I can't say enough good things about the check in process, the nurses that worked on me, and Dr Kim. Should I have another emergency I feel confident that this is where I'll go and be well taken care of! Thank you again!!

Staff was very friendly and courteous. Appointment was on time and the office was spotless. Dr Nguyen reviewed lab and radiology results in layman’s language and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. Time for the masks to go away! Advent Health is the last holdout!

The labor and delivery department is the absolute best. I had some of the best nurses while I was here having my baby. Dr. Rogers delivered my baby and she was amazing ❤ if I have another baby I'll definitely be here to have it.

The facility and nurses were wonderful and showed great compassion. The doctors did not show the same level of care and concern, did not communicate well, did not report the true facts of my case. One doctor charted all opposite symptoms and said I denied multiple issues that were actually the reason for the visit—said I denied those complaints, said I was non compliant—another doctor blatantly said I denied previous injury when I directly stated that I in fact has a neck injury. As for the campus very clean, parking was terrible but the shuttle guys were on top of their jobs. I give 3 stars due to the doctors, not the other staff. Great job nurses and lab!!!

I have no complaints about my hospital and rehab treatments and care. I felt like an important person and was treated with great care and respect. There are no complaints that I can say about any nurse I had during my month long stay, and I stayed in many sections, floors and rooms during my surgery and recovery. All I can say is "Great Job Everyone"! I will recommend AdventHealth Waterman to everyone!

I received exceptionally good care from a team that is professional and personable. The office is very well managed and run; I especially appreciated the short wait times which indicate a well-managed practice. The staff inspired confidence. All around a wonderful experience.

Overall we had good care. However the doctor forgot to sign and put a diagnosis on three pieces of important papers. And that did not allow us to get discharged on time, or get the medicine we needed, and delayed our care by the home health nurses; so far it has been two days with no care. Post discharge. Outrageous! Another thing I did NOT like was they put my mom and 5 other patients lined up all together in a hallway for estimated 12 hours until a room was available. And at times the one and only nurse left the hallway area for a 30 minute meal break and no one was there to help or watch over patients! Outrageous!

Most of the staff was very nice and made me as comfortable as possible. I say most because there were one or two nurses that obviously would rather have been anywhere else. Tuesday afternoon I never saw a nurse at all after around 12:30. Your care packet specifically states that your nurse would check in on you every hour!( I do know that’s an unrealistic expectation but once or twice would have been nice). Also it says at the shift change that nurses would come into the room to keep each other updated along with the patient. That happened once. A couple of the night nurses left me unable to get my gown adjusted around the tubes on me until I was in tears and had to ring them back. They were very impatient. I felt totally stupid. Hats off, though, to Bert and Melinda. They were wonderful!! Answered my questions patiently and seemed to really care about their patients. Everyone else on the staff was great also. I wish I could remember all their names. I would say change the wording on the care packet so patients don’t have expectations that are unrealistic. Thanks for listening!

I was at the Waterman Facility. The intake staff was great. My room where I prepared for the procedure was in good order. Since I needed to have my chest hair removed that is where things went not so well. The assistant who shaved my hair with an electric shaver cut me three times. Never apologized. The nursing staff was great. The procedure went off flawlessly. Dr Mills is a very good Dr. We have been with her for many years.

Every time I've been to Waterman hospital it's been a pleasant experience. It started 2 years ago when I brought my mother to the hospital you all were excellent and took very good care of her even though she passed away in the hospital. You all very thoughtful you cared about all of us when we were there at the hospital with my mother. And then just a few days ago when I broke my wrist the hospital and the staff are wonderful very considerate and very thoughtful and very professional. Thank you for being so good to me and my husband. ❤️❤️✝️❤️❤️ Thank you

Everyone was super nice. I didn’t even have to walk to or from my car because of the shuttle. The wait time was about two minutes. The lights in the mammogram room were dimmed so it was a comforting atmosphere. The hospital was spotlessly clean and the procedure was over quick enough. Also the technician was reassuring that even though breast cancer runs in my family that the treatment is much better than it used to be, but I’m probably just fine.
