The service here is horrible. The employees on the breakfast and meals bar are hideous, they are rude and give the impression that they are making a favor to serve you or something. It’s just so disappointing and the most rare is that nobody seems to care about that acctitude 😠

Stopped here with a few hours to kill on a layover. I was lured in by the presentation of their food and the chance to have “real” food. I got some fancy tacos and sides of baked Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. Got strawberry milk because why not. There are a few tables there with power plugs so after eating dinner I stayed there working on my laptop and charging my phone. I also enjoyed hearing classic 80s tunes which were probably coming from the bar area. Staff were all friendly and helpful. And they kept the place clean.

Stopped at Plum Market DTW for what looked like overpriced, but healthy food + the name Zingermans! Husband asked clerk at deli counter for Salmon Salad on a croissant. “It don’t come that way” , the clerk snarled. Husband asked for a container of Salmon Salad and a croissant. Clerk starts packaging the purchase, while totally ignoring me. I said, “ I’d like something also” which he grabbed and tossed on counter. Totally hostile atmosphere. $6.00 croissant, $4.00 for 1 oz of chips. Tasteless overpriced food, and employees with no customer service training whatsoever. We should have walked away when we had the chance.

I ordered a combo. I was told that all but one of their dishes was a side. After purchasing I realized I was charged for 2 meals despite telling me the "side" I ordered was a second meal. They wouldn't give me sides to account for the meals. Also very over priced. $6 for a single mini taco? I recommend going almost anywhere else.

Totally bummed about Zingerman's!! We landed at DTW enroute to Chicago after 2 weeks in Prague. Saw the "Zingerman's" sign, got excited to have some great Zingerman's food and instead, we received overpriced, mediocre airport food. We ordered 2 Salmon combo plates. Looked pretty, but the salmon was luke warm, and the Brussels were slightly browned and mostly uncooked. Ever try and eat raw Brussels? Oh, and the big menu board says $27, really? $27 for the salmon combo! But the cashier rings it up as $28. Why, because they haven't had a chance to change the menu board??? After a bit of questioning, the manager did me a "favor" and reduced them back to $27. Couldn't eat the raw Brussels, so the manager apologized and offered replacements, so I took 2 containers of fresh fruit, which would've been $17. Nice gesture, but the grapes were soft & old & the cantaloupe was hard, unripe & still had green rind on most of the pieces. When I asked the manager about Zingerman's "quality" she said they're not Zingerman's, they're Plum Market. What a lousy way to waste $56 for two meals. Totally misleading on Zingerman's part and Plum Market sucks! I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card tomorrow. Don't waste your money!!

I'm a repeat customer for the gluten-free breakfast sandwich! I love it. To the other comments, of course it's expensive, it's an airport.

10$ for a breakfast sandwich that isn’t even made to order and is dry. So much bread/bun, so dry. You are forced to buy a drink just so you don’t choke. Overpriced and crowded with things not people. Should’ve just waited forever and gone to McDonald’s

Overpriced, but what else would you expect from airport food. There was a sign that stated, "Order Here." I stood there, and then a female employee with red/burgundy dyed hair gave me attitude and said, "Go stand over there to order," even though there's a sign that states otherwise. She actually gave every customer attitude who would stand there to order. Wouldn't be hard to fix the signs regarding where to order food along with providing Plum Market's Employees with rudimentary customer service training. There's fast food chains that charge much less where the employees are much better educated regarding customer service and professionalism. This worker acted like she's doing us a favor, as if we're just begging her to pay $30 for overpriced food.

They have absolutely no idea how to make an espresso or latte. You ask how many shots are there and are delighted to hear that it is four. Then you watch the woman use the grinder to fill one filter basket, not even tamp it, and put it on the machine. They have a sweet strata machine by the way that should be able to make some amazing drinks. What should be a double shot is allowed to continue to run to fill up the cups to 4 ounces. Then she scalds the milk beyond believe and foams it way up and just dumps it on top. What you’ve got is a under extracted disgusting drink that tastes like scalded milk that burns your tongue.

I don’t typically choose to eat airport food, but because I booked my flight the night before didn’t have time to buy anything to bring with me. My salmon and two sides platter way exceeded my expectations, delicious ! They even had my favorite brand of ketchup and mustard! Had an awesome meal here, I highly recommend it! The bar also was good, although wasn’t in the mood for alcohol this early.

Ordered a cappuccino at zingermans, which is usually so good. It tasted like a weak Chai. Person before me ordered a chai, guessing staff didn't rinse something? Disappointed

Great customer service at the kitchen with fresh (mostly healthy) food options. An entree and two sides for $20 is also a reasonable price for this quality of food at an airport. The seating also has charging stations for your electronic devices.

Cardboard Cauliflower tacos, cold French fries, awful broccoli & kale salad, all for $18. Usually can count on this place for decent airport food. Will stick to cold salads next time….

Pleasant staff but I had the worst chai tea latte and caramel latte ever. I also tried ginger scone but it was just ok. The place was clean and the lunch looked delicious.

Horrible Turkey sandwich from the case. $12. Mayonnaise slathered all over the outside of the bun, almost all crumbly bread, totally inedible. Overpriced& very poor quality

Was reluctant to get airport food, but was so grateful I came here. I got the grilled chicken, cauliflower, and Mac and cheese and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Very worth it

Got clam chowder and some salmon. Clam chowders were okay. Salmon was so dry I had to turn it over to get a fork in it. The plain steamed rice was stone cold! Total waste of money! Too bad we were rushing to our plane or I would have taken it right back.

I can get Zingerman’s baked goods and coffee now, from the airport! And the prices are about the same as the actual shop in Ann Arbor- this will be a frequent stop when connecting through. However, they would benefit from having trained baristas at the counter. Not much knowledge of pulling espresso or care in making the beverages. The market is well stocked and bar has a small but nice selection of Michigan craft beer and lots of wines and liquors. Food prices seem high, but that’s not what I’m here for. Also, great ambiance, with good music and tables to eat/work inside
