I have been going to Dr. McGavin for years now. Office staff is super friendly and very helpful. Dr. McGavin is great. Always remembers the conversations we have had in the past. The hygienist are great as well. Overall definitely 5 stars and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a new dentist.

i took my 8 year old daughter to 4 different dental clinics, and no one could help her with her problem. They referred us to go to a specialists, however, when our bishop referred us to Dr. Scott McGavin, he was able to help her with the best of his knowledge. Instead of having her badly infected adult tooth out, he was able to save her tooth. He also did other work on her other teeth which make her so happy. I was so impressed with Dr. McGabin and how he handled my daughter's case. Really appreciated the help. My daughter is so happy now free from all the tooth aches and sleepless nights. Thank you McGavin and the team for their great assistance in ending my daughters misery. I would recommend him to any parents having trouble with dental issues. He is the best.

Horrible office staff, I would avoid this dentist due to that issues until she is gone. I missed a cleaning after 9 years and they were not willing to work with me. I have more than 3k worth of work still to do but they are unwilling to help. Office manager is the most condescending person I have ever had to deal with. Dr McGavin is a good dentist but his office manager (wife) is ruining his business.

Dr. McGavin and the staff are amazing!! I went in and had to have 4 teeth pulled. Not only did I feel comfortable but I knew they were going to help me, the last dentist I went to I felt judged and it really turned me away from getting the work I needed to done. But when I went to West Jordan family dentistry I could feel the difference. I had 4 teeth pulled and it was a much better experience than getting one pulled at my previous dentist. West Jordan family dentistry is the only place I will go from now on. Thank you so much Dr. McGavin

Dr. McGavin is amazing - he remembers details of patients and makes them feel important, not just herding them through. The office staff is phenomenal! The office manager, Myra, spent hours going back and forth with our two insurance companies to get the benefits squared away. The others in the office are friendly, the work with you on scheduling something that will work and really care about their patients. I was seeing a dentist in Grantsville where I live and took my daughter to Dr. McGavin for her wisdom teeth. After seeing him with her I immediately canceled my follow-up with the other dentist and I now drive 45 minutes to this office and will never change!

My co worker referred me to Dr. Scott McGavin, I had my teeth cleaned, fluoride and -rays done, the x ray showed 4 root canals. After the 4 root canals I will definately be going back to Dr. Scott McGavin to have crowns on those 4 teeth. I would highly recommend Dr. Scott McGavin to my friends, and family or refer someone that might be in need of a dentist. Dr. Scott Mcgavins should be proud all of his staff everyone is so pleasant, and extremely helpful.

I recently switched to Dr McGavin and I am so beyond pleased!! I love how kind his staff is, as well as him. When he talks to me about my teeth he truly listens and tries to find the best solution: with both the cost & end result in mind - - which is so rare in a Dentist. McGavin is one of the coolest dentists ever. I recently went in for a filling on two teeth, it was very close to the nerve meaning that there could be a chance I would have to get a root canal. Luckily, my tooth healed like it was supposed to. While it was healing I had very bad toothaches which he was quick to help me with. He called me personally and advised different things. Overall, McGavin is amazing with his patients. He really cares for them beyond the dentist office. I’m definitely going back to see him!

I have never had such an amazing experience with a dentist. You can really feel how much he cares about his patients and I felt so safe and reassured with him. I never want to go anywhere else. Dr McGavin and his staff are amazing!!!

I had a great experience here. Dr. McGavin was so knowledgeable, friendly and seems more conservative which I love. It didn’t feel like he wasn’t going to do unnecessary things, such a nice feeling to have at a dentist. I felt much better about my teeth after leaving his office! The hygienist was very kind as well and did a great job cleaning my teeth. They’ve taken great care of all of our family that has gone to them!
