    Update: See the response below and know that the apartment residents have gotten the same answer for over a year, and NOW we're in a SEVERE DROUGHT, a more than 100 years SEVERE DROUGHT. Does that ExCuSe cover it for you? My advice? NEVER live here!!! The egregious waste of water that this place continuously commits can be seen from Redwood Road. They water everyday and sometimes twice a day. The sidewalks get so wet, that the city sidewalk on the north side of the property is becoming damaged.

    Don't go there, as long as Abigail and Alison are there. They don't know how to communicate. Don't even mention property management. They're not good at it. All they want is your money, and they won't do anything. When snowing, they don't plow right away. They usually wait for 2 or 3 days. See how good they were plowing. A ton of snow in the parking lot/behind cars... what a joke!

    Apartments took 1 1/2 months to fix my sons broken kitchen sink, the smell was horrid and they were “waiting for a part” and wouldn’t do anything else to fix it or replace it faster, then we found black mold 3 weeks before lease ended, he had already put in his notice, and apartment manager refused to allow to end 15 day because apartment was not safe and highly toxic from black mold. And making my son pay 1/2 months rent so they can fix the mold issue on his dime! These apartments do not care about health of residents! we will have to seek legal action due to my sons health decline while living here for 1 year due to unsafe living conditions! Appliance are all extremely old and disgusting and washer and dryer take 5 hours to dry! Also they did nothing about that! Worst apartments I have ever seen! Residents warning! Get checked if you’re not feeling well! Black mold is highly toxic!!! And also there is cockroaches!!! My son had to constantly spray!

    I Thought Id be giving thornhil a 5 star rating. However right before my lease was ending I was served a lease violation weeks before my move about a painting in my window not being allowed which was in my window for several months. This world is compressed enough without my apartment trying to burn out my expressions. I thought this apartment is very tiny and over priced and now I'm paying all this money and i can't have a painting in my window, not worth it. It really set me off. Location is near all the stores but the stores are on the lower end spectrum. So you will probably have to drive down the road to bigger and nicer ones. However the maintenance is very kind and quick so props to them. The office is overall kind and stay out of your business. The apartment is calm the walls are thin, so if you cant handle neighbors buy a house. I loved most my neighbors even though they can be pretty noisy. Apartments are well maintained. Very clean. The upgraded apartments are nice but the upgrades are sorta cheap and weak. Doors are cheap basically fell off the hinges so im sure i won't be getting back my deposit. Overall yes a quick easy apartment to get into, that is nice enough for a starter apartment. My bad ratings mostly come from the painting issue and the fact the apt are so expensive for how small they are.

    It's the worst place to live!! Very old apartments, everything ruined. I've lived here for 3 years and for 3 years I have a waterfall of water that comes out of the air conditioning, leaving the hallway that leads to the bedroom, soaked, I haven't moved in these 3 years because they, the administration keeps rolling us, with promises that they're going to fix it, they don't keep what they promise, not even to wash the carpet when the contract is renewed and they do. It's absolutely terrible to live here! I don't recommend it at all, you'll regret it!!! UPDATE after my last registration here. It's been a month since my last registration here, and the last time we spoke with the manager, and since then, absolutely NOTHING has been done! I have a waterfall in the house, two buckets that refill daily, a rotten carpet that stinks from being wet. They don't have the MINIMUM concern for the residents, for three years they've wrapped us up with dozens of promises and wait for the winter to come, because we don't need cold air conditioning in winter, VERY CONVENIENT! That's why we haven't left here yet, promises, promises, and promises. A ABSURD, A COMPLETE DISCOVERY! super old apartments , a maintenance of the worst quality. No rebate on rent for 3 years of inconvenience. If regret killed, I was dead, BELIEVE IT!!

    If you want to move there, consider this. I moved here a month ago and kind of regretted living here. After paying the admin fee ($349), I requested to see the actual place and they told me I couldn’t see it until I moved in. Before I moved in, they only showed the demo apartment. I wanted to see the actual place to make my best decision. After moving in, I was disappointed. The actual place wasn’t like the demo apartment. When I first walked into the apartment, I smelled smoke, and it was dirty, especially the oven, the overhead fan, and the carpet (I used a carpet cleaner and found out that the carpet was super filthy).  I filled out the inspection form, and they told me that they would have people over and fix the issue within 48 hours. I have waited for more than 2 weeks, but some issues still remain. I also requested to fix the A/C on May 4th. They replied that we won’t work on A/C units until the temperature rises above 85 degrees. Additionally, they assigned me a parking spot that was far away. I requested to reassign me to a closer one, but they rejected it. When they ask for payment, they want you to pay right away. However, when you request services, they will let you wait or not fix it.

    Update: Within minutes of this post, Vincent, Supervisor of maintenance came over and he found out I had a burned braker. He replaced it immediately. What a pleasure to work with our maintenance. Original post: I'm a little concerned at the lack of care your leasing office has for my well being. I put in not one but two maintenance tickets about an electrical problem in my apartment. There is a short somewhere, and electrical shorts are no joke, a fire can ensue. Not only have I put in two tickets, I have called & sent a text asking for a status and still have had zero response from your leasing office. I am putting this out on the website in hopes that this won't be ignored, and In hopes I won't receive your standard generic "We are so sorry to hear that you have not received the customer service that everyone deserves here at our community. This is very uncharacteristic of our staff. We want all of our residents to feel comfortable and at home, while living on the property, both at home and in the office. Please contact us at your earliest convenience." Because it is characteristic of your staff and they dont answer, they screen calls. What's the point?

    Kameron with the maintenance team here at Thornhill did amazing work on my AC and heater! It had not been working properly since I had moved in and he came in and fixed it fast and efficiently. He listened to my concerns and walked me through what he had done. Made sure everything was in good order before taking off. What I thought was something not working very well, turned out to be not working at all. He was friendly and courteous and gave my dog many pets, which he appreciated! Definitely loved working with him and hope to have him work on my unit in the future if any other issues arise! Edit: I had been trying to get my fan worked on since last summer and the last guy to touch my unit told me nothing was broken and it was working fine. Unsure who it was since it was worked on while I wasn't home.

    Do not rent here !!! I have lived here for 8 yrs and this place has went downhill I thought this place was nice boy was I wrong !! I always paid my rent on time except for a few times office staff seems nice to your face but very phony behind your back they are all about the money here !!! I'm being evicted for something I had no control over and now I'm gonna be homeless these people don't care at all !!! Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else!!!

    I moved into thornhill about 6 months ago and I could not be any happier. I had an issue with my heater and Abigail made sure to send maintenance over right away to fix it. Every time I come into the office woth any questions Alison is so friendly and helpful. It's good to know I live somewhere that I will be treated like an actual person and that I'm am valued

    Signed another year lease because I feel this small community has allot greatness to it. Abby and Allison in the office are readily available to answer my questions and address any concerns I have ever had. They even implemented this new texting feature. I love receiving notifications and being informed. Kameron one of the newest members to join the Maintenance team has been so easy to work with. I submit a request to have my bathroom sink fixed and he not only fixed it but installed a new faucet within a day or two of me submitting the ticket. He is friendly and always asks if there is anything else we need done. He takes the time to stop and say hi if he sees you out and about on property. We got a ton of snow this season and he along with the other two do a great job of keep our walkways cleared. He is a blessing to have someone that cares about not just the property but the tenants that call this community home. Thornhill may not be the biggest complex but the staff sure have allot of heart.

    I have lived at Thornhill for almost 6montns and I cannot say enough about how happy I am here . The grounds are so pretty , the maintenance is friendly and helpful and the office staff have been great to work with . The best part is the location !

    I moved in recently and everything went so smoothly. Dylan toured me and was very knowledgeable and great at explaining the pro’s to Thornhill’s community. At my move-in, Chase the assistant manager was great at helping me get set up and Abbigail the manager was great at answering all of my questions. Thank you!!

    This place is a racket! Do NOT move here and fall into their pit!! They will screw you every way they can. I did not have a working AC in my unit from March thru August… ALL SUMMER LONG! No AC during a summer of RECORD BREAKING HEAT! Even with putting in a maintenance request to have it fixed back in March when it stopped working. The ceiling leaked dirty water into the unit, and I had to keep a bucket under the kitchen sink because the faucet constantly leaked water, I put in a maintenance request for all that too! I moved out when my lease was up then got a bill saying I owed them for September?! My lease was up at the end of August!!!! I was NOT living there in September! This was even after Having a $700 credit with them when I moved out, and had put down a $500 deposit when I moved in.. My lease ended at the end of August, so I moved out, cleaned, and turned in my keys August 31st.. Do NOT move in here!!!!!

    I just recently moved in. It's a quiet place to live, and conveniently close to everything. The office staff was quick at getting me into my apartment. I love how the parking lot is well lit. Did I mention how quiet it is here? Neighbors are super friendly and overall it's been a nice place to live. If you need a place quick, the office will take care of you. No waiting for weeks to get approved. I definitely recommend living here.

    I moved in close to six months ago. Have had nothing but great experiences living here. Very friendly apartment complex. Love the communication with the staff and maintenance. Abby and the girls in the office are amazing to work with. I would highly recommend these apartments.

    I've lived here for over 2 years. My washer and dryer went out and Vince, supervisor of maintenance replaced it with new ones. Juan and Vince today brought me a new refrigerator because mine was getting hot. I could not ask for a better maintenance crew. Vince and Juan are the very best at what they do!!
