Wow! What a spectacular meal. Everything was on point. We had the lamb rack and eye fillet. Every morsel of the meals was perfection. Never come across better staff. Happy and obliging. Absolutely recommend this place. 💖💖💖💖💖

We recently had our daughter’s 1st birthday at storyteller! When organising it, the staff were very accommodating to what we were after. On the day, we were able to have a whole side of the bar to set it up however we liked. The food was perfect and was exactly what we were after. Thank you storyteller kitchen and staff for making our daughter’s special day perfect. Definitely recommend booking your next function here!

Lovely little cafe. Beautiful setting. Good coffee. Food was nice but I would have preferred homemade waffles with my chicken waffles as they tasted like those sugar coated store bought ones.

A surprisingly enjoyable and visually warming experience visiting Storyteller for a drink and something to eat. The decor was interesting enough to have me out of my seat taking a few photos, and the front of house staff were friendly and worked with good attitudes. There was one miscommunication with a food order, that could easily have been avoided had the young waitress written the order down and then repeated it back, ensuring then that the order was correct. Basically a rookie mistake, that was soon rectified and did certainly not take away from the experience. I suspect the real stars at Storyteller are the kitchen staff, who consistently send out well presented and tasty dishes. I’m looking forward to returning, and enjoying more of the menu.

Warm cosy bookstore vibe. Service was very good and the food was excellent. We had a range of tasting plates which are entree size, mezze plates. Excellent variety of options. We were recommended (and had) 4 plates for 3 diners. The portion size was generous with multiple pieces of each for everyone. And we might have ordered an extra pork belly bites just because they were so good... Chefs special mussels fritties were a winner, light golden batter, juicy plump mussels and lightly smoked aioli dip! Dumplings were well done and the beef cheek croquettes also. All moderately priced under $20 each Good wine list and beer options available.

Went for a birthday dinner with my wife and daughter. It was busy , but the service was prompt and courteous. Wait times between ordering and delivery felt a bit long, but we were updated as the kitchen was obviously slammed as they had a few large groups to contend with. Garlic bread was soo good, as were the other dishes, the Chicken Karage and the fish and chips. The Guiness was perfect.
