I've been going to Shear Design for over twenty years, & always feel well taken care of. They always spend a good amount of time with each client. I'm consistently pleased with the haircut & coloring I get. The establishment is owned by a Spanish speaking woman, so Spanish is often spoken. That's never been an issue for me. It's a local establishment, not part of a chain, & has a nice welcoming feel. And...the prices are reasonable.

I started bringing my girls to GeoMary after I saw her work while I was braiding my hair Ruth Kady at the same salon. They get wash, condition and blow dry. Very meticulous hair care, never feel rushed and always very pleasant. Plus their hair has grown several inches and is much more healthy since they started coming to her. Kady is also excellent if you want braids or any protective hairstyles. Highly recommend

I've never left a review for anything ever in my life but I've never got a worse haircut then I did here. I asked for medium layers and a little cut, I got short bangs and random super short layers across my whole head. I've never experienced anything like this. An actual nightmare haircut. It will be years before it grows back or I have to spend 1000s on extensions. Didn't ask any question the woman just quickly cut off all my hair. Truly horrific experience.

I have been natural for 5 years and I have been going to Shear Design for deep conditioning treatments, hair cuts and hair coloring. I’m currently blonde and I always get compliments on my hair color. Daisy is amazing as a colorist and she ensures that my hair doesn’t get damaged. :)
