I just moved recently from Atlanta to Teaneck and have done my fair share of taste tests at all the restaurant. I must say Sababa was by far the best food I have had. You can tell the food is fresh and tastes amazing! Service is phenomenal and quick. Being an Israeli- I give this place 11/10. So good!

Absolutely great take-out place. The Israeli/Mediterranean food is consistently out-of-this-world good. The service is great, and the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. For the very biggest selection, go Thursdays. Fridays they close in mid-afternoon, but still have a lot of food. They are closed Saturdays. There are only a couple of seats for the occasional eat-in customer. My whole family raves about Sababa's delicious food. It is kosher under the reliable RCBC hashgacha.

I've been coming here since Danny opened, I think it was 2004 or 2005? Food is always good, and he has the best falafel in NJ. Also I'm a little obsessed with the laffa bread, its worth the calories. Plenty of vegetarian options, and gotta love the hand cut spicy fries.

There were no public restrooms available here. I wonder if I'm no longer part of the "public" once I pay. I didn't have to go, but I'd like to think that Sababa Grill would let me use their restroom after spending over $50. I'm a pretty clean and cheap restroom goer. I don't use much toilet paper and try to flush as little as possible while also being mindful of clogging. I clean up any mess that I leave behind. Sometimes I'll even clean up another person's mess. It's not out of the goodness of my heart. It's mostly out of fear that I walk out and there is someone that goes in right after me. I don't want them to think that I was the person that made the mess. All I'm trying to say is that I'm good at going to the restroom, but I wasn't always like this. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've made a mess of some restrooms. I knew I needed to stop when I recognized how upset I would get when someone else would leave a mess behind. I was being a complete hypocrite. Anyway, I wanted Sababa Grill to know that if they let me use their restroom, I would have left it spotless. Also the food from here was absolutely delicious.

Great Kosher restaurant. Tasty food. Nice service. Enough room for four people to dine in. The hot sauce was tasty. The schnitzel was fresh and tender.

We came at closing time and the staff was really nice. We had to eat outside because they were closing which wasn’t a big deal. The staff treated us like family. The food Reminded me of eating shawarma in israel.

My daughter and I heard about Sababa from friends. Man, o man, were they right! We both had the schawarma in a pita. It's an entire meal in a fluffy pocket. The flavors are worthy of another visit there. .

While the atmosphere is nothing to speak of, they do have very good falafel sandwiches - which is why I went there this week. But as I was eating one, there was something hard in the pita. It turned out to be a piece of plastic. Luckily I didn’t break a tooth on it. I showed the server and he said he’d bring it to the owner’s attention. Little good that does me now, but very disappointing. Off the list now.

We ordered the Yemenite soup, Schawarma in pita, falafel and Moroccan cigars. Everything was absolutely delicious. And the service was wonderful too. We will definitely be back.

They used to have a sizable dine-in section before covid, but they expanded their kitchen since then and have fewer tables. There is a caring owner on the premises.

This is our go-to takeout place for Israeli food (we used to dine in when there were more tables). It’s also our go-to for sending friends meals when they need it - for a shiva, a birth, illness. It makes everyone feel better.

The food was delicious! I am new to Indian cuisine. I ordered chicken Briyani, it was so delicious and so flavorful. The garlic naan was amazing too. The server was so sweet and kind. Highly recommend, we had a great experience here.

Ordered for delivery on a Sunday fully expecting it to arrive at least an hour later. It arrived within 30 minutes and the food was fresh and fantastic. Very satisfied and highly recommend!
