As a "sipping" rum drinker it's refreshing to find a bar that offers rum other than "Captain Morgan Spiced". One of my goals is to sample aged rum from around the world, up until now my experience of Canarian rum has been the overly sweet "honey rum" loved by tourists, boy was I in for a suprise. After speaking to the knowledgable waiter, "Omar", I made three selections. The Arehucas 18 year old, the Aldea Familia and the Aldea Maestro. The 18 year old was sublime and the Familia was superb. I forgot that alcohol is poured by eye and a single shot is UK triple so after sampling the first two I was in such a good mood that I considered buying useless trinkets from an African street peddler. Because of this mood swing I declined my third choice in case I thought that selling a kidney was a good idea. My wife had her usual Mojito and I tasted it; it was one if not the best (other than my own) Mojitos I've had. She had two which is high praise as one is her usual limit. If their other cocktails are as good as this, then you should really give this bar a try. I've already pencilled in another visit so that I may taste the Aldea Maestro and several other mystery rums on the menu.

Dreadful service! A female member of staff was very rude and obviously couldn't cope with a busy evening (Halloween night). We visited the night before and the cocktails on the menu weren't great but off menu (Black Russian) was great. A lovely male waiter who was so attentive.

Paid nine euros for a strawberry daiquiri that had never seen a strawberry. A glass of slush , a bit of vodka and overly sugary strawberry syrup. Cocktail bar across the square facing the Irish bar is a far superior cocktail and costs less. Avoid Hook at all costs Chris R

Used to be a friendly bar now staff are abrupt they need a lesson in customer service. If you are busy you can still be pleasant

Staff are blunt and unfriendly. When you ask for anything it seems to be an inconvenience to them. Cocktails are ok

I have to give our server credit as he was polite, friendly and attentive. This place has a great offering of different Rum's and I wish I would have had time to go back and try a few more. Good price, good service and good location! Whats not to like!

Disappointed not as good as last year 2 staff covering the whole night they tried their best but you were waiting 20 mins for a drink

Saddest cocktail I've ever had. Lumps of ice and flavourless coconut. Useless paper straws got clogged and zero presentation overall. Well worth a walk to Bahía Beach to get the real thing in a much nicer setting.

Easy drinking! Don’t be put off by the (very) random negative reviews. If you like a good drink and decent tunes you’ll be fine!

Could be a great place to go every night on holiday but the attitude of the blonde lady in charge is terrible . No customer service skills no eye contact no please or thankyou very rude to paying customers it's a real shame

I have never had a pina colada so tasty. Definitely the best cocktail bar in Costa teguise. The interiors are very nice, cocktails made with fresh fruits are brilliant and the chico who served us was amazing. He also gave us some tips for breakfast places in the area. For people that complain about the service, I would say stop to be so spoilt and try to understand how busy the place is. 5 star for this incredible team from me !

By far the best cocktails I have ever tasted . The young man who served us was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to make our visits every night very pleasurable . Can’t wait to visit again
