Amazing. Its a small aquarium only takes about 30 to 45 mins to walk around. Turtle sanctuary it is all about education. The animals look well cared for tanks are clean. The staff are very helpful.

Not a large aquarium but still worth a visit. We spent about an hour here which was time enough to see all the exhibits. It is quite a small aquarium and costs 15 euros per adult which felt just a little pricey. The black tip sharks are small but still quite impressive. Overall it would probably suit adults with young kids more than adults on their own.

Lovely aquarium with the option to scuba dive in their tank. Normal entry is 15 euros and 250 euros for a dive with full Instructions. Please note they say one person can get free entry to watch dive so it's best if you book a dive prior to family going in as you won't all need to repay to watch the dive. They look after some animals that have been injured in the sea and wouldn't survive out of the aquarium. Such as a turtle who lost two of his legs due to rubbish in the sea. It's nice knowing they are caring for him now and he's comfortable. About a five min walk from the beach. Few mins walk from H10 Lanzarote gardens hotel.

It was so well set out. The tanks were huge and so clean. The shark tunnel was great. We had good views of the fish and turtles. Would recommend this aquarium.

We had such a lovely time that we ended up going twice on our 10 day stay. We absolutely loved it. There was so much to see. The staff were so nice and friendly. Loads of information to see. The ray was the highlight so beautiful and huge. We had a 2 year old 10 year old and 2 older teens with us and they all loved it. An absolute must if your in the area.

It's a very small aquarium that you can easily walk around in 15-20 minutes. I found it very small for the price with very limited information about their conservation efforts. The small tunnel with the sharks is nice but that's about it. My kids asked: is that it? Which kinda said it all. Small toilet available at the end. Its one way route only but you can use your day ticket for the entire day so could go round it several times. Note: opening times were different for Christmas. This was not updated on the website but just on a paper sign outside the door.

Went with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed 2 lovely hours here. The aquarium is not enormous but there is plenty to see. Take your time and appreciate the fishes, interact with the nice tortoises that were saved by the staff and get healed before being re-introduced in the open sea. Sharks and especially rays stand out but there is really a lot to see if you look patiently. Staff were helpful. Reccomended and will go again.

If your looking to spend sometime exploring the island then I recommend you give the Lanzarote Aquarium a go. They have an ecological view rather than just for profit. I was especially pleased to see they help injured sea turtles. I spent sometime looking at the huge tank that has fish, turtles and giant stingray, so relaxing. I recommend that you take time to have a good look rather than pass by.

This is a lovely aquarium on Lanzarote. If you have an hour to spare and you like fish, sharks, or turtles, this is worth a visit. It's a bit of a taxi ride, especially if you are staying in Puerto del Carmen. Approx €25. Can book tickets online, €15 for adults, €10 for kids. Beautifully arranged and constructed tanks, decorated tastefully. Great selection of octopus, fish, sharks, and turtles. From the common to the rare, something for everyone to see. A stunning selection of colours and shapes, kids and adults alike will love this place.

It is a small aquarium but if you like aquariums, that won’t matter to you. Every single staff member was very lovely and I absolutely adore the disabled turtle. So beautiful. Had a lovely time here and would recommend going and leaving a donation if you can because it’s going to a good cause

Good little visit, doesn’t get good reviews from people saying it’s not big enough and visit time is short but it’s as good as you make it… if you have interest in fish your visit will be better. We spent around 2 hours including watching the shark feeding. (Monday,Wednesday,Friday@12&12:30)

Nice little aquarium although very small. You could walk round it in half an hour. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Particularly liked the fact that they have a 'Seaturtle Hospital' which is really just a large tank but where they rescue and rehabilitate injured turtles before releasing them. Also impressed by the information and display about the dangers of plastic in the ocean and what actually ends up in there - quite saddening but a great way to raise awareness. On saying that, I purchased a souvenir from the gift shop and it was placed into a clear plastic sealable bag which I found bizarre for a place that was promoting the reduction of single use plastic! I removed the item and handed the bag back saying just that. Far better to replace the plastic bags with paper ones or do away with them altogether - I'm sure people would understand and support this. Please Note: this attraction is not suitable for visitors with mobility issues as the aquarium is down a steep flight of stairs. I didn't notice an alternative accessible entrance.

Great to visit with kids. It is small but very nice and still quite impressive. They rescue sea turtles. If you want to see the stingrays come in the afternoon. We were lucky they woke up for a few moments

Nice little aquarium. Our children loved it and could spend an hour or two keeping cool and enjoying the tanks. Loved that they have turtles to rehabilitate too!

We had the BEST time at the aquarium! Preferred it to more commercial aquariums we have been to like the London aquarium. Good range of fish, so many beautiful tropical ones! Absolutely loved the baby shark section, it was so quiet as well so we could really sit and enjoy watching them without feeling hurried. The giant sea turtle was a massive highlight. Would strongly recommend!

Lovely little aquarium the price may not seem worth it but it is as they rescue turtles and fish to nurse the. Back to good health and back to the sea animals seemed very active and happy. Unfortunately it isn't big but does have a range of species such as octopus and fish and sharks

I really enjoyed visiting Lanzarote aquarium. It’s a little hidden treasure with a lovely selection of underwater life. I think it’s brilliant that they rehabilitate many animals as well! No queues for us, and not too expensive too. Highly recommended.

Visited while on holiday after seeing it advertised at the airport. It's a lovely aquarium, really clean and well thought out in terms of layout. Pushchair friendly & accesible. It's not particularly big, but reasonably priced. They offer a family ticket which meant one of our two children effectively had free admission. Plus you could revisit on the same ticket throughout the day which is great if wanted to come back for talks and feeding times. We spent about 90 mins here. We particularly loved seeing the rescued turtles, sharks and sting ray family. There's a large tank with huge viewing windows that we could have easily sat watching for hours. There's also a small shark tunnel you can walk through. The staff were really friendly and spoke excellent English. There's a small gift shop and toilets on site. Lots of nice bars and restaurants close by too. We'd definitely visit again!

It's a very quiet and small aquarium for how much it is to get in I was expecting more we took our time walking thru but we're done in 20-25 mins. But the fish on display are amazing and they have 2 turtle the big on has a flipper missing but it's being cared for here.

I had heard it could take up to 2 hours. Perhaps if you watch each tank for 10 - 15 minutes each. Pretty small place, €15 per adult. I felt €5 - €10 (max) would have been fairer. Still, with all that being said, what was in there was pretty cool. My partner and I saw some fish that we've never seen before (more so for my scuba diving partner). I took a lot of pics. It may save people €15. 3 stars because what is there was cool to see in person.

A really cute aquarium, spent about an hour mesmerised by all the beautiful colourful fish. And an octopus playing with lego! Oh and love seeing the sharks in the walk through tunnel. Have also done a video for the oceanario scene, on YouTube, Amanda's tales and titbits.

Absolutely loved this aquarium 💕 it's not massive, but it's lovely. Saw a rescue turtle who was found in a net and had to have 2 limbs amputated and is waiting for prosthetics to get him resurfacing better. Would definitely recommend a visit, my boys four and two loved it so much.

The Lanzarote Aquarium proved to be a captivating experience for our family. The mesmerizing presence of huge stingrays gracefully gliding through the water added a touch of magic to our visit, making it a must-see for marine enthusiasts. The welcoming and informative staff contributed to a positive atmosphere. Notably, the ongoing development of a giant shark's mouth and a shipwreck showcased the aquarium's commitment to continual investment and improvement, promising future delights for visitors. I rated the Lanzarote Aquarium four stars, primarily influenced by the pricing, which felt a bit steep for a family of four at €15 per adult. However, it's worth noting that the admission fees contribute to their conservation efforts, adding a meaningful aspect to the visit. Despite the cost, the experience was valuable, considering the positive impact on marine conservation (see we care, Marine turtle recovery work they do on their website)

Lanzarote aquarium is a fantastic hidden gem that is well worth a visit if staying near the area of Costa Teguise. All the staff are incredibly friendly and often provide fascinating information throughout our visit. It is a rather small facility, but for its size there is a wide array of aquatic animals. The ticket we had allowed us entry (and re-entry) any time throughout the day, so we managed to come back during feeding time where we watched many of the sharks and rays (and fish obviously) get fed while staff members told us about all the animals they have. Great visit and great value for money.

A really lovely, up close experience with the sea animals. The Aquarium is a rehab centre for injured sea life, so all the money goes to a really good cause in getting them back to good health, and the animals are super friendly and right there for you to see. Great experience.

Spent a lovely 90 min here. Take your time and appreciate the fish. there is lots to see if you look. We went on a windy day to escape from the wind, but it would be cool on a hot day too. Staff were helpful, shop had some lovely items. But just watching the rays was mesmerising. Will go again.

Not for those who expect to spend 1-2 hours. This was a short stop on the way to another place. Spent maybe 20mins walking through all of it, taking pictures. Has some interesting fish, the sharks were much smaller than expected

Accidently came across the aquarium and was very impressed. Very friendly staff with lots of aquarium animals to see. Very entertaining for a 5 year old, very clean and looks like expansion is also being completed at the moment Will definately return.

Lovely Aquarium a nice mixture of water creatures to look at and all the information you need beside each one. The kids really enjoyed it. There was staff on hand also giving us information and stories about some of them which was really good. Would definitely recommend for something to do and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants in the area to go afterwards.

Interesting variety of aquarium fish. Two fish we noted may have been rescued as had deformities with their fins for which they may not have survived outside of captivity. There were video pictures to explain the types of fish but there were no commentaries which would have enhanced the experience. Currently there is no cafe (it looks like one may be being built) or outdoors area which was a shame but we spent a pleasant 1.5 hours here

  • 5/5 Kenneth R. 6 months ago on Google
It’s not a large aquarium , but it’s beautiful and clean inside. Count little 45 min if you take your time for visiting it. Workers are super friendly and knows every fish/spieces by name and give a small info if you want. Aquarium also used as shelter for turtles that have some problems and place them back after recovery!

  • 4/5 Guitar K. 6 months ago on Google
the aquarium itself was not very big but it was very clean. fans for you to cool off and fun decorated fish tanks. a lot of different kind of fish and very nice staff. at the end you have a small area where you can buy stuffed animals and nice jewelry. when you come there you can get the tickets at the reception with cash and card. loved it ❤️❤️❤️

Lovely experience. Very friendly staff and great experience. Can be as long or ad short as you want and loads of speice of fish to see. Great kids adventure and wasn't too expensive

  • 5/5 lilly m. 9 months ago on Google
Really great experience. I highly recommend if you’re staying close by. The fish are beautiful and their stingrays are the biggest I’ve ever seen . There is also a part where you can see turtles that they have rescued and will eventually be sent back into the sea once they are completely recovered . Honestly a great experience for a few hours .

Absolutely loved our visit to Lanzarote Aquarium. Staff are lovely they really love their job. Feeding time was the best, we couldn't believe how the sharks, fish and sting ray interacted with the diver feeding them. You know they really loved and trusted them. She even rubbed and massaged them. You have to see it to believe it. Don't miss an opportunity to visit. ❤️❤️

Loved it! It was small but really well kept which made me not grunt the price. All the animals looked really happy. The turtle was my favourite. Big thanks to the guy with long hair and the lip ring who spoke to us for ages about the star fish and let us hold them, he was so passionate about the place!

The aquarium is small but worth a visit if you are at a loose end! They have two black tip sharks, a couple of rescue turtles, a family of rays and plenty of fish.

  • 5/5 Gerard C. 1 year ago on Google
Kids loved it. The main tank is really amazing with the mantras and sharks. Saw a recovery turtle also. It is small but worth the visit. Friendly staff too. Very dark in parts if ur hard of sight it might be a hindrance.

  • 4/5 Aarti N. 2 years ago on Google
Great and well maintain, happy fishes, all the sea creatures are well kept. I loved the sea turtle, one of them seemed so happy to see people and start to swim and even at times remove his head out the water as if to say hello. I expected to see some more sharks, but there were only 2 in the tank, but overall was OK.

  • 3/5 Ian, Hampshire U. 2 years ago on Google
At 15€ per adult admission it isn't cheap. Being honest if you like fish (of all shapes and sizes), turtles and small sharks then it's worth a visit especially if you have young children. As for us it was "alright" described by my wife and I have to agree. We could have walked round the whole exhibition in about half an hour. It's inoffensive and a bit sorry for its self but for a family on a rainy day give it ago.

  • 3/5 Charlotte S. 2 years ago on Google
While being in Lanzarote we had a few windy/cloudy days so we decided to visit the Aquarium. It's not the biggest but we at least spent about a hour and half there and we did enjoy our visit.

  • 4/5 Dena E. 2 years ago on Google
Well worth a visit. Quite a surprise to find such a good aquarium. Very healthy and happy looking fish.

  • 5/5 Leanne W. 2 years ago on Google
Small but what a great little aquarium, wanted to get some time out of the sun while in Costa Teguise and this was a lovely little place

  • 2/5 Vasily P. 2 years ago on Google
This should not exist in its current shape. Too small aquariums for too big fish. Two lonely sharks making countless rounds, zero vegetation, only rocks. The place would be much better if they showed only smaller fish.
