This museum is much better that what it looks in pictures. It’s an iconic house once owned by famous Egyptian actor Omar Sherif - lots of stairs so could be not easily accessible to some

Amazing hidden gem, if in Lanzarote and you’ve visited anything touristy to do with César manrique, he’s everywhere then you have to visit Museo Legomar the past house which belonged to Omar sharif who unfortunately lost the house during a card game with the designer of the house, amazing property to go and view! If you’ve been to Cuevas de los verdes or jameos del Agua then you have to visit this property just a few mins drive from the manrique foundation in tahiche. If you’re staying in costa teguise it’s a 10 min ride up the road by car, amazing stunning and must see!

Incredible! It's quite a small place, but you can sneak here and there endlessly! Every second you have an urge to take a photo. So different from the things you've seen before, you can't stop admire every corner!

Such a nice 'museum'. You should defintely go there. The combination of nature and architecture is truly amazing. You should also go to Fundation César Manrique if you like this kind of style

Museo Lagomar is beautiful to walk through and very interesting throughout. There are a lot of narrow steps, especially within the Omar Sharif section of the Museum. The Museum might benefit from a directed route to take through to reduce people waiting for others on very narrow walkways, but the spontaneity of exploration is enjoyable.

This is spectacular. Loads of steps to climb, so be warned. It's worth every one of them. It is beautiful. I'd love to live here.

Somewhat pricey tickets at €8 each for adults. They have a discount for children under 12 or island residents. Wish they had a family ticket though. Still a very worthwhile trip. Really beautiful and unique architecture with interesting history. Worth the journey to it.

We have visited the island many times but this was one of the last attractions that had evaded us. I have time for anything that Manriqué has had a hand in. The added bonus of a connection to Omar Sharif was too intriguing to pass up. The house did not disappoint. What a stunning labour of love and so evocative of the style of Manriqué and Jésus Soto. Architecture beautifully wrapping itself around the landscape. I do love the 70s vibe that was built around entertaining. We had a cocktail in the bar first before exploring the weaving tunnels and stairs. There are a few steps to climb. It was interesting to learn more about the design and build but a timeline and a few more dates/descriptions on supporting photos would have been helpful. Beyond the larger communal/entertainment spaces the actual house seemed quite small. I imagine other areas must remain private? An enjoyable visit, I hope in time they can do more with some of the surrounding areas which felt a bit unkempt and unloved. Definitely worth a visit. Lots of oohs and aahs as you discover hidden nooks and crannies. Lovely details.

ABSOLUTELY worth the drive and cost of entry. Only €7.50 and there is a cafe where you can chill and have a beer. 😄

Amazing ! Get there early Best place to visit. Better by far than 'the other' house on the Island

Nice architectural venue, definitely recommended for all, especially for architecture lovers. Great how to see how nature and man made can co-exist. Unfortunately, the restaurant is quite small and we waited quite a while. Consider sitting down a bit before lunchtime to avoid waiting.

What a fantastic place to spend your time when visiting Lanzarote! The entry price is €8 for one adult. Parking seems limited for around 20 cars, this is for free. Minimum time to spend enjoying the place is one hour, more if you stay for a coffee. We will return here and definitely recommend to others!

Wow is this place amazing. Sensible entrance fee. Restaurant with the most beautiful view up to the caves. I have mobility issues but I made it to the top as it was not too crowded and I could take my time.

Really beautiful place. 8€ entrance fee, you need maybe 45min/1 hour to go around the place and take pictures. We got the bus, it was very hot walking up to the house, so I would recommend renting a car and driving up to the car park that is just outside the entrance of the house. Would recommend!

Visited as part of a tour to the markets so not something I would of normally done. I'm glad I went tho but I'd say once you have seen it that's enough. Lots and lots of stairs which some are very steep and no real organisation of people using the stairs so loads of people came up the stairs when we was waiting to go down them and came to a stalemate where no-one could really get past each other. I'd say it takes about 30 mins to see it all so for a family of 4 just going to see this it seems expensive but... it was quite interesting and not everyday you get to tour round a €7 million mansion.

This is a stunning place, but unfortunately felt a bit rough around the edges. We enjoyed exploring all the different rooms and views. I had incredibly high expectations having been to other Manrique connected places on Lanzarote and unfortunately Lagomar didn’t meet that same standard. There was poor attention to detail and a lack of polish that really took the shine off a pretty incredible space. Needs some love and investment to make it what it ought to be.

This was a oh look find, glad we visited and looked around. Son loved it and exploring the house. Learnt about how it was made, how the house was lost (no spoilers) fantastic views and incredible house - also a nighttime bar if your near to the area. Absolutely amazing and great value

Not that well publicised, but well worth a visit. Fascinatingly designed house in an amazing location, built into the rocks. Nice cafe and small shop.

A beautiful stunning place to visit. The house and gardens are amazing and the cafe is relaxing. You will need a couple of hours and be able to cope with stairs. Highly recommend.

This is an interesting place to visit, with it's labyrinthine layout and hidden areas. It's easy to get lost in the tranquility of the gardens. The house, set into the rocks, is quite small and there's not much in the way of information, aside from a couple of boards showing Omar Sharif and his work.

Interesting location, not a very large place with loada to visit beside the little white crabs, but nevertheless very nice restaurants, chill and lovely lay-out, I would say it's a great place tot relax a bit betwen activities.

Highly recommend this place, especially the story of how Omar Sharif bought and lost his home in a game of Bridge. The architecture of Sharif's house carved into the Quarry is amazing, haven't put any photos of his home so you can see for yourself.

An interesting visit, many winding, narrow stairways and alcoves. The weather was inclement ("Tropical Storm Hermine" was on its way) but didn't detract too much from the viewing experience, however extra care had to be taken on the wet floors and stairs. My wife has always always wanted to visit and managed to convince me on this trip with a promise of dinner at the lag-o-mar restaurant. It appears that the restaurant is "no more" so walking through the museum was my only choice.

Really loved the house of Omar Sharif. The ticket it's only 6 euros. Lovely place. An architectural wonder with a touch of Cesar Manrique

Amazing place. Thé architecture and the way everything is integrated in the Mountain really is amazing. The view on the landscape when you climb up in the upper parts is very nice ! Quite funny to find out that Omar Sharif lived there… it seems like a great place to live in :) Super cosy to Have a drink close to the pool at the lower level. Very nice All the way

Worth a visit for something different to do. It's basically a huge house built into a cave. 6 Euro's per adult and has amazing views. It was quite cloudy when we went but we enjoyed it. They also have a cafe/small shop here.

Very unique and beautiful place. Lots of winding, secret passages - like something out of a child’s book for adults. Not sure on the cafe, I would recommend eating before coming and also wear trainers to get about. You buy your tickets on the door and it was not busy when I went at all. You can also buy souvenirs - quite pricy though
