I absolutely loved this town. Just walking around and exploring the town is so delightful. Shops are old style and there is bank which reminded me period movies. Very picturesque town, if you like photography or just hobby of clicking pictures then you'll love this place. You can easily spend 2-3hours exploring/shopping/relaxing.

Really beautiful small town, so cosy, empty in relaxed at the end of February. We visited more often. Some days for coffee, but also for Sunday market. Recommend visiting! Also kids playground is big and attractive.

Lovely little town. Towns of restaurants and shops to explore. We went during the Sunday market and it was packed with nice stall and artistic creations, jewelry, food etc. It seemed like the whole island was there but you could move around easily and see the sights. Definitely recommend going on market day.

Love this place.. both for the Hussle and bussle of the market on Sundays and the peace and tranquility of the town without the market.. The church is amazing if you get a chance to go inside..

Lovely old town. Very traditional and a big more historic than the coastal towns. Went here for the Sunday market. It’s huge and full of stalls. Taxi from Costa Teguise was about €20 each way. Well worth a visit.

We went by coach from the hotel to Teguis for the Sunday market, so did hundreds of other people it was very busy but also organised. We didn't have any knowledge of the village/town but we were very pleasantly surprised. As well as the market the local traders were all open. There were art galleries, a museum, bars, restaurants, all types of shops and entertainment on the streets. The place is full of history, I would give the church a visit, it's beautiful. We found an artisan bakery named Jonnie's, just off the market he baked all his own cakes etc and served gluten-free, vegetarian products. I tried one of the gluten free cakes, it was amazing 🤩 they coffee was also fab. I would recommend a visit to Teguis for the market and/or a visit anytime 😁

Teguise in Lanzarote is a good place to visit. One of the oldest settlements on the island there is plenty to see and do. There are museums, a church, little shops selling local crafts, bars where you can have a drink and some tapas. Every Sunday there is a huge market that winds its way around the town, with music playing and something there for everyone.

Teguise is a great place to visit. On a Sunday there is a market with all manner of goods. We also visited on another occasion during the week and saw different things. Well worth a visit - lovely Church, various points of interest around the village. Great shops with local items for sale. Museums and a number of coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

Lovely, lovely town, some really nice bodegas, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. There is a market every Sunday. Nice walk to castle overlooking the island. New year's eve celebrations start late!

Busy Sunday Market in a very picturesque village. There are all kind of stalls, a lot of tat, but some nice artisans in between. Cheap car parking, but go early as they get quite full.

Greatest outdoor market and large variety of items including artisan section. Had a great coffee n cake in cafe santa Barbara. Great indoor shops as well in the town. Well worth the trip we took local bus 12 on Sunday that starts from matagorda so got a seat easily

Sunday Market highly organized, village square & shops, bars & restaurants also. Good for local crafts, bags - usual items. Local bus from Puerto Del Carmen €2.95 each way or can book with your companies €15!

This is such a fun little town! The Sunday market is an absolute must-see. It’s well organized, there are tons of booths/shops selling everything from local arts to mojito’s made fresh right in front of you. There’s even live music. The entire area is an incredible historical area with lots to see, all within easy walking distance. Besides the booths that sell food, there are several small cafes all around that have some great offerings. I can’t recommend them enough- spend a couple days here (one of which must be a Sunday)- you won’t be disappointed.

Nice small city . Quiet usual market, a lot of fake products and chip stuff. Few places with hand made products. Once you tried ,you will not be back

It is a nice town but I was surprised to know that this is the capital as it was pretty dead when we went . However it has some nice alternative cafes and shops

Went to the Teguise market on the Sunday. There is organised car parking before you get to the market. You pay 1.80 euro for the privilege. A short walk and you arrive at the market. WOW. This is a very big market with many different types of stores. You can buy handbags, clothing, jewelry, sunglasses und a plethora of other things. Amazing. There were also food stands there selling chips burgers kebabs and wraps. The wife had a wrap with chicken. The store holders were all friendly. There were hundreds of people at this market but it was good natured and civilised. We enjoyed this very much.

Very quiet and sleepy. It seems the church may never be open and the museum was back in 30 minutes (forever) no one ever came back. Nice place to kill an hour and a half with coffee
