I wanted to leave it a few weeks until I left a review so I can give a review based on more than one visit. My chiropractor here is Joe. I am sure everyone is wonderful but I struck gold with Joe. He is extremely compassionate and puts you completely at ease. I knew my treatment plan was built especially for me with consideration of my health conditions. It is a very personalised service. Visiting Joe is an absolute pleasure. He makes sure your completely comfortable and understand what he is doing and why. If I want to chat we talk away and if I’m having a quiet moment he totally gets that. I’ve already had a huge improvement in my movement. I felt so proud of this and it felt good that Joe was equally pleased. I am feeling more confident and happier. It’s not just improving my physical wellbeing but my mental wellbeing too. Family have commented how I am walking talker and look happier. Even my clothes are beginning to change as my confidence grows. Before I visited I presumed it would be like a massage but this is so much more than this. I just never realised how specialised chiropractors are. It’s helping not just with pain but my movement has increased a great deal. I’ve seen various staff around reception and they are always very welcoming and happy to chat. The receptionist is very helpful and always happy to see people. I’m sure it’s obvious ….. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Joe and this Chiropractor Centre. I only wish I started my treatment years ago.

I have been for a diagnosis and my first treatment. I have already noticed quite a big difference after just one treatment. The combination of treatment including chiro adjustment, acupuncture, massage and exercise really makes a lot of sense and I am really pleased I got the 8 treatment plan. I'm trying to persuade my husband to do the same.

I am receiving treatment for a recent knee injury and at the same time having treatment for a ham string injury and pain in upper leg as well as a long term back pain. I find the chiropractors and massage practitioners extremely thorough and knowledgeable and am improving daily with treatment and exercises. I have recently been attending the Sykes Verwey Centre for treatment on my hip, that was causing me great pain. Freddie has been treating me and I have been really impressed with the service I have received. I feel that my issues have been carefully assessed and expertly treated, and within three sessions my symptoms are very greatly improved. A great massage from Arthur at the end of each session after manipulation is the icing on the cake. All of my family have been treated by Freddie and cannot speak highly enough about him.

I have recently been to see Joe for a lower back injury that has kept flaring up over the last few months. After just 2 sessions with Joe I feel so much better and am now able to train in the gym and work with no pain! Joe gave me a really thorough assessment to identify the problem and was really reassuring throughout. It was my first time visiting a chiropractor and I was put at ease straight away, Yasmin was super nice and friendly.

I first was hesitant as I was afraid getting my bones injured but I met lovely chiropractor named Yasmin. She was very knowledgeable and had some fun chats with her. She assures me about my treatment and she also have magic touching. Also, she is gentle and it was satisfying when you hear the cracks from you own bones, the pain fades away. After my first session I slept like a log. Will recommend it to anyone and they also offer various treatment. Hot stone massage sounds relaxing and looking forward to have one. They implemented effective and professionally. From one to 1-10 I will give them 11.

Arthur made me feel very comfortable I was in safe hands, he was very professional and knowledgeable about what I was experiencing and immediately recommended what was best for my symptoms. I will be visiting Arthur again.

I visited with back pain for which I had a thorough assessment and treatment with Joe, and I was given stretches to do at home. Everything was explained really well and the treatment/follow up exercises were really effective. I then developed a shoulder issue (too much decorating!) by my next visit. The treatment I received reduced the pain I was experiencing and aided "normal" movement. I have been given knowledgeable advice and exercises to aide my recovery. I highly recommend an appointment.

Went to the clinic due to aches and pains that got worse over the last couple years due to an accident. The Chiropractor "Freddie" handled my consultation very professionally and highlighted key areas that I was aware of, helping to diagnose the actual cause of my pain. After taking me on as a client for regular appointments I have managed to reach a point that I feel comfortable again, very minimal pain and much better in ailnment. I will continue to use their services for monthly upkeep and maintenance for my body. Very polite and down to earth staff easy booking via online tools or in person, phone ect. Email and text reminders. Great service and thankful that the very competative prices meaning I can continue to look after myself.

Have only had 1 session so far with Joe but already feeling some improvement and walking a bit easier after my appointment, despite it being a "gentler" first session. Joe immediately put me at ease and reassured me over any worries I had. He really understood my mobility issues and explained everything as he went along. I've been visiting the Sykes Verway clinic for over 20 years. Julia Verway is amazing and quickly solves any muscular problems. I'm always amazed at how she can find where the issues are without me telling her. My husband visits Freddie Powell monthly who keeps him moving after a long term sciatic problem. It's great that Arthur is on hand to offer massage after a y manipulations. The whole of the Sykes Verway team are fantastic and it's lovely to see the practice evolve over the past few years. Our family highly recommends them and would go nowhere else.

I found the practice to be efficient and friendly. Joe was thorough in his examination and I received the treatment which relieved my back pain. My visit was followed up with an email with exercises for me to do to help prevent a further recurrence of the problem.
