Schönes altdeutsches Lokal. Gemütliche warme Einrichtung mit viel dunklem Holz. Service war sehr freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Wirklich nett. Essen war klasse. Rouladen und Zwiebelbraten top. Königsberger Klopse sehr gut, leider aber etwas zu kalt. Zum Abschluss gab es auch noch einen Schnaps/Espresso aufs Haus. Super! Insgesamt ist das Restaurant wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Outstanding meal! Steak in pepper sauce could not have been better; beautiful hunk of meat cooked to perfection (rare ordered), beautiful rich pepper sauce balanced with citrusy pink pepper garnish. Also recommend the Burgundy style “Prim-Ahr” (German red wine). Casual dining doesn’t have to mean mediocre food. Well sourced meat, a good chef, and happy staff make this a place to come back to again and again... Gerne wieder!

Well-made, classic German and Berliner dishes on offer here. Large portions, so nobody will go away hungry. Lamb, steaks and co. are typically excellent. The fish dishes are quite good, but the standard is not quite as high. It gets quite full, so it pays to reserve a table.

Good German food, Bratwurst and Leberwurst were delicious. Waitress was excellent, friendly, efficient and with a good portion of Berliner humour.

Good food and very nice waitresses. The veal schnitzel is excellent.

When you search for a high quality and typical German (traditional) dishes type of restaurant in a very nice atmosphere, you will be right at this location. Prices are on the higher side but for quality and quantity still acceptable. A clear recommendation. You should book a table in advance. Car parking at the street, shouldn't be a problem (we always find one).

I liked the setup of the table, we were a party of 4 guys. First round of drinks came fast, second took a while. Food was really good. I will definitely come back with the family - wife is a vegetarian and she is looking forward to trying out the Käsespätzle.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente und eine tolle Speisekarte mit gut bürgerlichen Gerichten. Leider war die Blut- und Leberwurst meiner Begleitung nicht sonderlich warm. Es wurde aber angeboten, dies zu ändern. Geschmacklich waren die Essen aber sehr lecker und mein Essen hatte die richtige Temperatur. Wir werden sicher noch mal testen ob es auch das Gericht mit der Blut- und Leberwurst mit der richtigen Temperatur gibt.

Ohne Reservierung wird es schwierig, Personal freundlich, zuvorkommend und von der alten Schule, Essen reichhaltig und sehr Abwechslungreich , viele Gerichte habe ich lange nicht mehr auf einer Speisekarte gesehen. Preislich völlig ok, kommen gerne wieder. Für Bier Freunde Weizen Bier vom Fass.

Super leckeres Essen, Preis- Leistung hat gestimmt die Portionen waren sehr sättigend. Das Personal war super freundlich und aufmerksam, gerne wieder.

Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. All three of us were happy with the presentation and taste of our meals (Schnitzel; Herringfilets; Veggie Burger) and friendly service. Prices are fair. Happy to have found this gem in Zehlendorf. We plan to be back to try other dishes on the expansive menu.

Excellent food. Very tasty. They don't speak a word in English but we got along fine Not expensive, worth the pricing.

I arrived to this beautiful place without reservation and with my two children. They prepared a nice place for us and they were very nice. The two waitresses were amazing. Very good atmosphere and great food! I was amazed by the politeness!

We went there for a coffee and a strudel, which tasted good, but after a while we had the feeling we were invited to leave the place, since we did not ordered food, though there were empty tables both outside and innerside. Such a petty in the time of covid, when one might not feel so interested to order food...

Not good, not terrible. Just plain bad. The meat was dry and potatoes burned down, so I did not finish my plate. Also one dog barked, if you have balls to tell the owner of a westie to sit closer, maybe have balls to tell the owner of the staffordshire to make his dog stop barking. And, staff should wear a muzzle.
