If you want to learn history about how the text to declare the Indonesian independence was made, this is the right place. Located near the city center of Jakarta, the place can be accessed and found easily by using public transportation. There are also parking lots can be used by visitors. Inside the museum, you will find the history about how the proclamation text was made and story of heroes who were in involved. The museum is really cozy because you can find several seating and the place is air conditioned. The pictures shown here have been integrated to an app that can be downloaded to your gadgets. By scanning the pictures you will see several videos explaining the history behind the pictures.

One of historical building in Menteng area. During Japanese occupation this house was once occupied by Takeshi Maeda, Japanese Admiral that helping the revolutionaries making the script of Proclamation. Because of the role of the building in the formulation of the independence proclamation text, in 1984, Minister of Education and Culture Nugroho Notosusanto directed that it be converted into a museum. The official inauguration of the Museum of the Formulation of Proclamation Text Museum was on November 24, 1992. This building was so underatted not really crowded like other museum.

Very well preserved; abundance information, very good condition and enjoyable experience. Price is too cheap :) I really this to be expensive, bit higher if not, so that people understand and appreciate how valuable this historical place. Enjoy it to the max. Lots of insights.

If you want to know about the history of the Proclamation of the Republic of Indonesia, you have definitely visit this museum! You can get the information from the museum's guide about the history of proclamation. From the World War II until the proclamation. The staff are very friendly and there is a car park too. If you want to pray there are also a mosque for the muslim and church for the christian near this building. You can do a prayer at the Sunda Kelapa mosque for the muslim. It is about 150 meters from the museum. The entrance ticket is just 1000 IDR for group and 2000 IDR for individual.

Nice Museum Indeed. Here, We Learn The History Behind The Formulation Of Proclamation Text Of Indonesian Independence. The Museum Is Quite Futuristic As It Is Equipped With Few Screens Showcasing A Few Topics About The Museum And The Collections. The Museum Isn't That Big And Spacious. The Ticket Is Cheaper Than Most Museums. Recommended.

Our friend who was a history buff organised a visit to this museum which included a very eye opening presentation about the proclamation, a movie and a guided tour. I didn't know there was a special museum for the proclamation. It used to be a house belonging to a Dutch official in the elite area of Menteng. Later the Japanese Rear Admiral Maeda lived there and the house was used to draft, type and present the very significant historical moment: the Proclamation of Indonesian Indepence on 17 August 1945. Very friendly people and I have learned a lot

(Translated by Google) Entrance price is 2,000 per person. If you go up public translation, you can. Because it is so close to the Tj stop. There are motorcycle and car parking lots. The museum has 2 floors. The museum tells about the formulation of the proclamation text and figures related to independence. The museum is good, the exhibition is also good. unfortunately from the entrance to the museum's groove is less clear. So confused which one should first to read (Original) Harga tiket masuk 2,000 per orang.

The Proclamation Text Formulation Museum, in terms of cleanliness, security personnel, CCTV, prayer room, sanitation, and various other supporting facilities, is quite good. The employees who work are very friendly, they always answer any questions I have. In terms of road access, we can go by busway No. 4C then get off at the Museum of the Proclamation Formulation Museum stop. The entry fee is also cheap, Rp. 1000 for children and Rp. 2000 for adults. When entering this museum, we will get a booklet that contains things related to this museum. Apart from that, the museum also has a bunker, which functions as a shelter and as a place to secure various important documents.

I really like the exterior and interior design of this building. But more than that. The historic event, the writing of the text of the Proclamation of Independence in the building, was very meaningful for all Indonesian people. The manuscript that brought Indonesia's independence, and has grown to this day.
