Going to Recovia was by far the best thing I have ever done. When I started I was hopelessly addicted to pain medication. I used more and more and was in increasing pain. I was out of control. I had been advised by many to put a stop to the madness. But it wasn't until I stepped into the doors of Recovia Tempe that I actually saw a glimmer of hope. I was fearful but ready and was immediately taken under the wings of some very special people. The program is incredible. I have learned so much and things that I had felt as an addict finally made sense. The staff is wonderful, warm and caring. They are encouraget a and beacons of light. The physical therapy is like none I have ever had. When I walked through the doors I was bent over almost in half. Now after 6 weeks I am happy to say that I walk completely upright. It is a miracle. I encourage anyone who is struggling to come to this place of hope and healing, you will get healing you never imagined possible.

The program at Recovia is not for everyone. I was there for 3 to 4 months. They took me in as a patient when they were not fully staffed. The had a Lunch lady from Anthem doing physical therapy. Then anothrr lady who was trying to teach meditation, seriously. Then the secretary who was there to do intakes would have me build puzzles when no one was available. I realize that they were not professional business. I had to go back on pain medication, at that point I had left Recovia.

Very good facility for anyone struggling with anxiety from a life changing crime. In my first week I learned about cognitive behavioral therapy, Tai Chi, diaphragmatic breathing, relaxation exercises, and visualization therapy. They have physical therapy, one on one counseling, and structured group therapy. The highly structured group therapy sessions are informative and enlightening. They also assist clients who are in recovery from substance and alcohol use disorders.

highlight on my prior review - They encouraged me come up with serveral backup plans to deal with a very difficult and frightening situation. I am on my 2nd backup plan now and my life is less scary. I don't feel as devestated as I did months ago because I am able to move forward with courage. I was the victim of a life changing crime in November of 2020.

If you re lapse they won't help you. They won't allow you to go back. What's the point in saying they will help you again if you do but won't. They make it hard for you to get back in the program. If you are patient there people don't seem really interest in helping you. They look at you and talk to you like they don't want to help you get through it. Update: I want to be able to speak to someone about my concerns. The medical provider that attends me I wouldn't recommend at all to go with her. Tequilla or however u spell her name. She is the least that seems to want to help you. Even after I tell her to give me a little higher dose to help me better she refuses n wants to send u to someone else or somewhere else without trying to help u first. We have to be here for 4 hours either 2 or 3 days out of the week. And they all get you 15 to 20 minutes late and let u out 10 mins early. So what's the point in being here that long if technically 2 hours total are being waiting in the lobby!?!?

I was just contacted by Recovia. Based on a referral my current pain dr recommended…i spoke with Aracelie I’m guessing she’s intake ?… and to be Honest she said so many things no one else has ever came close to relate to? With not just the aspect of their culture and helping change how we hurt from chronic pain.she spoke about the mental state of mind and being able to work with both to get to the Core Problem. or at the least minimize as much pain on a daily as Possible! I’m having high hopes and i have my first appointment on 6/20/22-& i can’t wait to get started most Dr.’s -Or facilites. No longer care about the patient and the struggles we all go threw just to do daily activities! I will let you all know how my experience went .. good luck to everyone and may god always have you in his favor! 🫶🏼😘🙏🙏🙏🙏 p.s im always available if anyone needs someone to talk to? And always willing to give you my opinion on what has worked for my pain and the struggles I’ve gone threw ! I will tell you first it starts with God! And the Cira hey and strength he blesses me with daily! Trust in self help and ask for healing he will hear you! Always know there’s always another option!😘🙌🙏 stay blessed ! My names Diana Martinez and i live in tempe Az ….

Great care if you are not in aftercare. They completely forgot about me once I got to aftercare. Loved the people there and was very disappointed with how they handled aftercare. Tequilea was professional and very easy to work with. Unfortunately she left. I’m not sure why but she really helped everything run smoother.

Going to Recovia benefited me in ways that has changed my life. I was always skeptical of therapy due to some bad experiences, but not only did I feel at ease here, I learned some lessons that has made my quality of life so much better. Jamie, Daniel, Rachel, and Greg are amazing people, and I will always be grateful that they helped me and taught me so much. They genuinely care about their patients and put their whole heart in it. I will forever speak highly of them.

Recovia is absolutely amazing!! The staff goes above and beyond and they truly care about their patients. The 12-week outpatient program was a life changer for me! My psychologist, Evan is the BEST, he truly helped me get through the toughest rough patch of my life. He is very professional, and kind, and he cares about his patients. Sal is the best Physical Therapist I've ever worked with and a genuinely great guy! The group sessions are amazing and learning how powerful our brain is and how to retrain our thinking/self-talk and breathing has helped me immensely with my anxiety, PTSD, and depression. I highly recommend Tempe Recovia to anyone seeking help.

I chose to add Recovia to my treatment plan and I am so glad I did! Sal is the best physical therapist I have EVER worked with, seriously! His knowledge of the human body has given me the ability to walk again, normally. I have a neurological condition that effects my gait. Over the last 14 years, NO ONE has taught me how to train my body properly to use all of the muscles I need to walk, except for SAL! 😃 I have learned so much about all of the ways I am able to help myself mentally with using all of the knowledge shared with me. Every single staff member wants to be there & encourages each of us to find our inner strength as we move forward. Recovia is an amazing gift that you should allow yourself to be a part of… you will be a better human being once you complete your time with Recovia. 🤗

Recovia has helped me so much my scores from the different sheets for different issues where in double digits and by the end of my aftercare my lowest was a 3. This program has done more for me than anything else has, I swear some days I've never been able to find somewhere that treats pain and mental health together and it really makes sense. I've gone a lot of places where I didn't really feel comfortable or felt very clinical this place is far from that. All of their staff is amazing they know you by name and work together to help you get where you want to be. The main person over the location checks in throughout your program to see how things are going and if there's anything you need. I never feel judged and really enjoy everyone, theu are so easy to talk to. Even my experience with others there have been awesome I've got to meet some really great people and learn a lot. They make things work for you, you are never forced to anything theu try to put people exactly where they need to be, I swear some days I felt like the group I was in was specifically for me, because I'd hear what I really needed to hear. It's really helped me change my outlook on my life.

Recovia's program is outstanding. The three-part combination of individual and group therapy, physical therapy, and medical support has been very powerful, positive and healing for me. I've learned new ways of thinking, new habits, and practical skills to address mental health problems that brought me there. My life is so much better: calmer, peaceful, focused, and more socially active, less isolated.

I benefitted greatly from my Recovia Active Care sessions with Counseling, Group Counseling, Physical Therapy and Medical. I continue to benefit with my After Care sessions, which give me the support I need to continue with my process of recovery. I am grateful that I came to Recovia!

I went to Recovia 4 years ago, and it was awesome! I had the best counseling I’ve ever had, loved the physical therapy, enjoyed the groups, and just thought all of the employees were wonderful! I heard that they really screen well when hiring-they want people who care. I have recommended this to other people. Truly helped me with depression and to stay off of opiates.

I just wanted to thank you guys for your amazing help. I had to cut my program short because I started working full-time, but I would have kept going because it was fantastic. I just wanted to express my gratitude for helping me out of a stressful time in my life. I have now left my abusive ex, am getting my own place, and will soon be singing on stage because that’s my calling. But I wanted them to know how much I loved going and appreciate everything they’ve done for me!! Xoxo Caley
