Any evening at the Straz will truly be magical. There isn’t a bad seat, everyone is excited and happy, the energy is so good, and it’s truly almost impossible to be unhappy here. The Straz offers something for anyone and everyone. The staff is really great at what they do…I mean everyone! The performers, composers, and musicians are amazing each time. The Straz is a must.

Spectacular venue for a show, for an able body person. The lighting and sound is perfect. The Entertainers and ticket prices are great. Accessibility for handicap it’s bad. Lack of adequate railing, the excessive amount of stairs, lack of warnings on seating charts. Staff was excellent. But be advised any with ambulatory problems need to remain on the first floor. There are some accessible seating on the upper levels, but the seating chart do not adequately show which are not walkers or wheelchairs were electric scooters. On the other hand, the show was fantastic

I attended Jeff Dunham Show on November 4! The show was amazing! This was my first time attended an event at Straz Center. I was beyond impressed by all the staff. It began In the Steam Heat Cafe where I stopped to purchase a snack & beverage prior to the show. Both the ladies behind the counter were helpful in making suggestions which beverage I would enjoy! I made my selection & headed inside the Morsani Hall. I stopped at the handicapped (I walk with a walker) bathroom & it was immaculately clean. I was then directed to correct entrance to get to my seat. The gentleman walked me down the aisle to my seat & checked that I was comfortable seated. After the show, I stopped at the souvenir area to purchase a t shirt. I then walked out to the valet area to question where is best place to have Lyft pick me up. The lady in the valet area offered to walk me to get in my Lyft. Again, another example of the amazing staff. I plan on attending many more events there!!

Captivating time at the theater, beautiful setting, and great sound quality makes a night out so enjoyable with food and drinks on site. Top billings and sets keep you engrossed in the action and sitting on the edge of your seat with anticipation, comfortable, and easy access for disabled and elderly. Loving kind staff.

We had a great time at the show in the Morsani Hall, at the Starz in Tampa. I am in a wheelchair so we used valet parking. They were patient and helpful. The security motioned me into a separate line and got me right through. Once inside we had a host named Sam S. Who showed us around inside and then asked if we wanted to know more about outside by the river and then showed us about dinning and the live music and such outside. Sam was excellent, he did a great job with info and answered all questions we had especially for me with wheelchair challenges. We will definitely be coming back again.

1st time going. It was very nice. Saw a stand-up comedian. It was a great venue for it.

Saw Jimmy carr here who was fantastic and this is no reflection on his performances! The venue itself was clean and staffed but the main frustration was getting people to sit down!! Show was supposed to start at 7, long rows with no means of exit in the middle meant you were constantly having to get up and down even when the show had started No announcement was made to make people get to the seats in time, even once seated some can’t sit during the show, oh and watch out for the sneaky way they automatically add on tips when purchasing snacks even just candy!!!

Straz has been a staple of the community for a long time. The area is becoming crowded and parking much harder but the show still goes on. Talented local players and out of town performers keep it interesting. The personal touch of the smaller venues is nice and the larger morsani and Ferguson halls are good for the larger more popular main stream shows.

😐 Very interesting experience! The performance by Bill Bellamy was great, he was hilarious and the venue is nice. Every couple is forced to sit with another couple, so eating is a very uncomfortable with the small tables. The food tasted fine and the service was good. However the bathrooms are absolut...
