If I could rate the New Year’s Eve Party, I would rate it a negative 10. I paid almost $150 US for myself, my father and 7 year old daughter. My aunt paid about $200 for her family, and my cousin paid almost $500 for hers(including another child). We requested to Be sat together. But because of the lack of communication between the extremely rude hosts and General Manager Everything turned out to be an awful experience. I felt bad for some of waiters who seemed to be trying their best under poor management. I will say that we got a full refund after complaining about the two small children we had with us hadn’t received a single bite to eat. We never got served food and it was past midnight. A lot of guest around us seemed to have has the same experience. I will say though, The only positive outcome we got out of this hideous experience is getting our money back and a couple of good pictures. We ended the night with delicious tacos at a friendly restaurant 10 mins away. I hope next year they coordinate better. I will never go back.

We went recommended by our airbnb superb host, and it was amazing. From the arrival it was more that we were expecting. There was no time to take pics of the meals but they were well served and delicious. The prices are really decent considering it is a touristic place. And the installations are the best, as our pictures show you can only spend a big time there. Excellent food, great place and infra, good music, nice service. This place really has everything and it shall be visited if you are in Tequesquitengo.

Highly over rated the food is not great and the time to get you to a table could be improved. The waiting time was ridiculous. The staff is friendly

It's a nice enough place, but it was too loud, too busy (even though there were many empty tables, which they said were all reserved). The food, though, was very good, but the service wasn't... it took a while to get a waitress to take our order. They also have a pool and like 3 hot tubs and some areas to swim in the lake. Also... beware of the steep street to get to the "beach" (playa). We parked in the upper street, so had to walk down and up.

We went there on Easter Sunday, in the middle of Mexican vacation time (the absolute height of tourist season) and this place was hopping! I imagine it's quite crowded on weekends as well. The location is fantastic-right on the lake. Many of the tables are situated in the sand. Once you pay a minimum consumption of 250 I think (which is really easy to do-I think my coconut shrimp were 235 or so) you can stay as long as you like, swim in the lake, relax in their hot tub, whatever. They have pop and reggaeton music blasting and, when the sun goes down, a DJ so it's a party atmosphere. Very fun. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. But of course the main draw here is the location. The only bad thing about this place (and it's HORRIBLE) is their parking situation. To get there, you need to go down a super steep bumpy road that is so narrow if one car is coming up, the car entering has to back up. Easier said than done. Our brakes and clutch were shot to pieces after our parking ordeal. I would only come back by taxi and let THEM deal with the repercussions!!!

We really enjoyed this place; we didn’t stay the night but the kids enjoyed playing in the pool and the food was good!

Great place for the view, horrible chilaquiles.... I can't believe we are in México and a simple dish can't even be properly prepare. So disappointed. Staff on the other hand were pretty good

Nice place but too crowded and not very focused on costumer service. The space you have to swin within the lake is ridiculous. They give no space between tables so is very uncomfortable to stand up from the table to go to the bathroom or something. And the place has pool, jacuzzis and the lake to swim in but no showers or places to change clothes. Service is not efficient, but nice.

Espectacular, gorgeous place by a small towns area by a small lake 8n the state of Morelos not far at all from Cuernavaca. Four of us ate incredibly deliscious fish and other seafood. Portions were great, we took a swim as the restaurant is on a small beach. You can rent a lancha and go on rides. This place exceeded by expectations. Perfect for drinks too. Nonstop music but doesnt interfere with conversation

We ate at the restaurant. For those unfamiliar with Tequesquitengo, most "Playa ..." businesses are just restaurants on the lake. They might have a small hotel, they might rent some boats, but that's the basics. It's not a playa, just a name. It's a restaurant with a pool. The pool looked dirty. The rest of the expansive dining area looked well designed and furnished, quite appealing at first. Unfortunately, the food was overpriced and very disappointing. The environment was obnoxiously loud music. There was no moving far enough away from the speakers, this is a place determined to play deafening party music to a calm, empty room. I had the tacos gobernador (tacos de camarones). They were essentially flavorless. Quite bland. For some reason these "tacos" were packed with more cheese than any quesadilla, and the grease left the tortillas soaked and falling apart. There was no salsa served. There was some onion and pepper inside, cooked to near liquid and not at all flavorful. About the only thing good I could say about this plate was the cook of the fries. But again, not much flavor, just good texture. The drinks were ok. I wanted to say good things about the mojito, but there was some kind of blue plastic floating in it, small enough I almost ate it through the straw.
