There was no type of reception, a bunch of multiple keys stuffed in a box, collected in the rain, and having to try the keys one by one along all the doors of the house, which is divided into individual rooms, which which is a bummer. The doors are also self-closing, so every time you close, you have to open it with a key. Nobody came to show us the house or anything like that, nor did they ask us anything during our stay. Very cold. The house is in the middle of the mountains, which gives good views and tranquility, but the roads are filthy and access to the property is terrible, with a low car it is impossible not to hit the bottom of the stones at the entrance, suitable only for 4x4 cars. In the house, which is not rural, but old, very old, it is incredibly cold. While in Las Palmas it is 22º, up here it is still 2-3 degrees outside and 15 inside with all the available radiators on, which are old and poor, completely insufficient for the cold of the place. The house is dirty, the sofas are filthy and completely sagging, everything is very old. The photographs show a warm and welcoming place, but it is a gloomy, cold and dark place. The lighting is simply unacceptable. The walls and ceilings are full of cobwebs. In the countryside it is normal for there to be some, but that has not been cleaned for months. The kitchen is very poorly equipped, the utensils are old, but there is not even a coffee maker or toaster, what a shame! In the advertisement it also says that there is WiFi, but it is a lie, there is a router with mobile coverage, which is disastrous, with the data exhausted. If you need the slightest connectivity, avoid this place. The stairs to go up to the rooms are dangerous, very narrow, not suitable for children or adults, a real danger. The bathrooms are cold, but they also do not provide soap or shampoo, incredible but true, and the towels, in addition to being few to the point that there is not even a foot towel, are tiny, head towels for the body whole. And the hot water is with a heater, if two people take a shower, the hot water will run out for hours. It completely ruined our stay on the island, what is presented as a rural and cozy place, is a cold house, lack of equipment and without any interest in offering a pleasant stay. Of course, everything is full of rules and managed by a company (Bookly). No one asked us when we left, or if we had been okay, we left the keys in the box again and never found out again. I advise you to avoid this place at all costs, the island is full of wonderful places and people, but this place has an absolute lack of interest. AVOID. Edit: The company responds that there is nothing constructive or improvable with this review, do they not know how to read? Leave soap and shampoo, put in a toaster and a coffee maker, put in efficient radiators (and not the mini portable ones that there are now), put in a hot water tank so that all visitors can shower... endless things to improve . I'm glad to see that they recognize that there is no type of welcome, because there are many "reviews" that say that the landlady made them feel at home... it smells like fake reviews.

A wonderful place that allows you to connect with nature. The house is very beautiful, with typical details and kitchenware from the area and has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The views are spectacular, the location is ideal, on the edge of a volcano caldera. You can take a walk and surround the caldera, it takes about 45 minutes and is quite easy. In summer you can enjoy the swimming pool located in the garden, surrounded by different fruit trees: apple, plum, orange, fig, quince, avocados, pomegranate, cherry and blackberry. And the best thing is that they allow pets 🐶🥰

I know how beautiful this place and area is with perfect views. We have a farm and cave houses for sale just a few meters behind the Rural house. And it is ideal for rural tourism too. In case you're interested. All the best.

The house is great. It is an ideal place to disconnect. When we entered the house it was not very clean (many of the dishes were not well washed, bathroom mirror with splashes, some dust in the rooms) it was not excessive but I think it could be improved. One of the rooms smelled strongly of varnish or oil paint and it was impossible to be in it. 2 of the stoves were broken, the one in the double room and another one. They are the only buts I can give and I hope they solve it because the truth is that the house is a very nice and cozy place.

A beautiful place to disconnect from the routine and connect with nature. Absolute tranquility. The house is quite well maintained and clean. I would reinforce the topic of hot water in bathrooms and cleaning/care of the gardens. It is very large so I suppose it needs a lot of maintenance. In general quite well cared for. Very good experience, with a very reasonable price, they allow pets and the situation of the house is perfect. We will return for sure.

Old Canarian house carefully cared for and tastefully decorated. Ideal for family gatherings in a beautiful natural setting with incredible views. Although it is a century-old house, it is comfortable and equipped with everything you need and more; from dishwashers to board games. We have spent some memorable days there.

(Translated by Google) My family and I had the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful rural house at the beginning of January of this year. The experience was very, very rewarding. The enclave next to the caldera is fabulous, an authentic viewpoint, a landscape to enjoy for hours, with the naked eye, or with binoculars. The house is very well equipped, even for cold nights outside. All details, and good taste. The treatment with the property is exquisite. I have no doubt that we will be back.

(Translated by Google) I have been a week in "the house of La Caldera" we were three people and we have enjoyed it to the fullest, the landscape of the kitchen that we have organized, the tranquility, the games. The truth is that the house has very good energy, and it welcomed us very well and we her. We will return to La Caldera. 🥰⚘️💫🌷🌼 (Original) He estado una semana en "la casa de La Caldera" éramos tres personas y hemos disfrutado a lo grande, del paisaje de la cocina que hemos organizado, de la tranquilidad, de los juegos. We spent three nights as a couple in this rural house. It is our first stay in this type of accommodation and we loved it. It is an ideal place to disconnect as it is practically isolated from buildings and busy roads. As for the house itself, it is very well equipped, with everything you need for your stay. It is very well cared for, full of small details and smells that make it a perfect place to get lost for a few days. The house also has a small library for those who want to read. Also mention that we were able to take our kitten, since it is a pet-friendly house. Also thank you for the nice detail they showed us by leaving us freshly cut flowers and a bottle of wine upon arrival. We spent hours just enjoying the views and the peace that surrounds the place. It has been a magical experience. We will repeat, without a doubt.

I have known Casa Rural La Caldera for years, and the truth is that from the first day I felt that it was a special place, where you could disconnect from everything and enjoy nature. The owners are charming and always take care of all the details, of course the cleanliness is excellent and you have all the comforts. Without a doubt, if you like rural tourism, this house is a 10!!! My family and I will continue visiting it whenever a long weekend or summer vacation is free, my daughter loves the pool, and we love the views while having breakfast or the afternoon walks around the area, 100% recommended

Very cold since the radiators are insufficient to heat the house whose windows do not close properly. Non-existent soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. There is no coffee maker or toaster. Dirty kitchen pots. We had to wash glasses and plates before using them. Very disappointing, really.

After this long weekend with the family, we recommend Casa La Caldera since it has met expectations in terms of equipment, cleanliness and location. Located in a cozy environment privileged by the views it offers, its rural touch brought more warmth to our retreat these days.
