The Egmont or Arenberg Palace, the Small or Large Egmont House are one by one gems of architecture that make up the prestige and grandezza of the current 'Egmont Conference Centre'. Their origins lie in the heart of Brussels in the Southern Netherlands, the cradle of Belgium and of Europe. This palace complex is the stone witness of five hundred years of history. Successive owners and guests were all - with a few rare exceptions - ambassadors of peace!

Impressive building, the former palace of the count d'Egmont is now a venue for events and conferences. The interior is stunning.

There was an art display in the centre courtyard. Cool palace to check out even from just the outside.

Beautiful classical place - here five stars. But, zero points for the following (1) horrible bathrooms: no coat hangers, no warm water to wash hand, water tap horribly splashes all over you. (2) horrible lunches: sandwiches stuffed with animal protein only. So nothing for vegetarians, nothing for vegans, nothing for gluten-free people. Not even gluten-free dessert, for example chocolate ! Horrible coffee, and even worse tea (one teabag of cheap black tea infused in a big barrel of water:((). No fresh lemon for tea was provided. (3) Area when cold horrible sandwich lunch was served (for people who can eat it…) was horribly cold.

When I was living in Belgium, this rather small park by the Palace quickly became a favorite. Neatly kept and offers a beautiful view along with seating.

Fantastic venue for a large conference. Antique architecture and multiple rooms of different sizes to conduct multiple sessions.

Thank you for hosting the Liberation Route Europe GALA. We got a plaque as Fletcher Hotels are now an official partner of the LRE.

I went there for the Conference for the Future of Europe. It was very well organized and we had a very nice reception afterwards. Would have liked to visit the Palace, maybe an other time. It is very nice and when the lights were on you could see the elegance.
