    My favourite is the passion and care for good homemade food of the Chef, the beautiful decor and the welcoming smiles. Everything I tried is delicious. Same cosy authentic African food every time I go . My fourth time since it opened.

    A subtle journey in African senses. The authentic home-made cuisine by a generous and caring Chef. The staff is welcoming and cool. If you like fish, I can recommend the Capitaine. The Plantains are a must. From African beers to the vegetables and spices, nothing is too hot but you can ask for pilipili masaki. The decor is helping the mindful eating experience.

    Such a nice experience. I have never felt as welcome as in this restaurant. Mother and son(s) are doing such a great job! A place where you take your time, discover delicious plates and get treated as kings and queens. We will definitely be back!

    This family run restaurant serves delicious fresh food with lots of flavour. Finger licking good! I actually did lick with my fingers and the mother of the kitchen came and cleaned of my sweater. She is so lovely. The young servant has good knowledge of what his clients might like! He was able to give good advice for the night cap! We are coming back… tomorrow 🥳 Thank you for this little voyage

    Great journey in authentic African flavours! Not to miss it! Original in the choice of dishes, beverage and “ambience”. Great location and a “must” after a round at Tervuren museum! Ask as well for dishes not on the menu, there could be additional specials!

    Delicious, tasty central African food prepared by a great family team. This is a lovely new establishment that will take very good care of you. Give it a try - you will not be disappointed.

    Comptoir Malakit is the discovery of the year. We received a warm welcome and service, enjoyed lovely fresh food, in an beautiful venue. We loved the chicken moambe, samossas, steamed cassava and above all the house cocktail was delicious. See you soon!

    Great quality food, the chef is the mom of the family and is very hands on. If the food is finished, it’s finished, which for me is a great indication of fresh preparation. Reservation needed in advance, we tried all the menu items, and we keep going back. Prices are right, food is great. We ordered the malakit water the first time out of curiosity, we skip that the following visits 😉
