My dad had fall off the bone tasty ribs & my Grandmother the sirloin special & salad. We had more than enough to eat. Awesome food & employees will return when in the area again. Loved the potatoes, the steak was blue rare, had a salad with it, sorry no photo. Only complaint would be to sear the meat 30 seconds longer.

My husband & I ate an early lunch there Sunday May 15, 2202…we enjoyed our large portions of food & I had plenty left over…we got a box to go…got to the truck realized & my hubby ran in to see if it was there..they had cleaned the table & trashed it…the manager Meagan apologized & replaced the meal!! Excellent service & management, they were very busy being lunch & she went out of her way to make it right!! ***** five stars we will be back🙂

Our server seemed overwhelmed but he was nice and he was nice enough to let us know he had put in the orders for our drinks and appetizers but somehow not put in our dinner order and wanted us to know it was his mistake and not the kitchen. That was fine. I can respect anyone that accepts responsibility and I know things happen. No big deal. The food itself was mediocre to say the least. My steak was medium rare and it should have been tender but it was not.....and it lacked flavor. After chewing and chewing and chewing and almost choking trying to get the steak down on the 3rd bite I decided to give that up and tried my shrimp which were not very appealing. My husband was tickled because he had been telling me for months to leave well enough alone and just keep eating at Longhorn Steakhouse on our nights out when I wanted steak. He politely offered me some of his Herb Crusted Chicken that was seared very dark, with no crust that we could see and dry as Styrofoam....and it was an extremely small portion. For 2 frozen margaritas with kickers in them, 2 peach fuzz cocktails, a coke, an order of fried pickles and the Herb crusted chicken, a texas size combo with the 12 Oz sirloin and shrimp and a Bacon Cheeseburger meal for our son we paid 103.00 and the quality and quantity wasn't worth 50.00. At least next door at Longhorn you can get a long pour margarita, a couple of cocktails, an appetizer and 2 meals with HUGE portions (2 large juicy pieces of chicken), tender and juicy steak that melts in your mouth literally....for 70, maybe 80.00. I think next time I'll leave well enough alone like my husband suggests, Texas Roadhouse is literally just for hype. If y'all haven't been over there next door to Longhorn Steakhouse for comparison do yourselves a favor and go over there. 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Finally got to have a steak dinner with my wife when we couldn't do so in Waco. Thought it was great. Their service was pretty good. Just didn't expect the server to come by every 10 or 15 minutes. And they had pretty interesting memorabilia, too. Sure wouldn't mind going back.

Front Door check in needs training on Customer Service. Felt I interrupted a social hour. Told system was down just step over there and I’ll sign you in when it comes up. Next family comes in, system comes up and they sign in 2 groups while I was trying to get signed in. Once in the system the seater grabbed a ticket and turned and asked us are you the 4 that’s suppose to get seated? The food and waitress were great but check in was very amateurish and appeared we interrupted their social visit. We’ll be back, but not because of them.

Texas Roadhouse, Texarkana, definitely delivered the best, high-quality steak as always. I always enjoy the family-oriented, fun environment. But what really made this a great meal is Trevor and Vanessa. From the moment I walked in, their inviting smiles and warm personalities set the tone. Not to mention the great cook. As always, I am greeted like a member of the family. And for me that is priceless. Just look at this New York Strip Steak....a perfect melt-in- your-mouth, juicy, medium rare steak. And I would also like to thank the management for making the environment a great place to work.

The steak was a 4/5 it was kinda dry. The loaded mashed potatoes are amazing. The fries are seasoned well. The waiters were slow to take my order. Very clean and overall good.

I ordered to-go here on November 4th, on a saturday night, which was a mistake on my part. I bought $2 worth of extra honey butter that I DID NOT RECIEVE. The mac and cheese that was in my order looked and tasted DISGUSTING. It looks like it’s been sitting for hours and they just decided to throw it into my order. The chicken fried chicken, Tater Skins and House Salad was the only thing I can say that was good. Even the rolls were not soft—they were hard as bricks. Please only go here when they’re not as busy, because you’ll only get dissapointing to-go orders if you do.

We arrived at approximately 3:30 p.m., Friday, December 1st. The parking lot had several cars but there were more empty parking spaces than full ones. Upon approaching the receptionist we were informed that the whole place was on break and we would have to be put on the waiting list. Really?!! You've got to be kidding. After break was over, the 2 of us were seated at a 6 person table. (We passed up numerous 2 person booths. ???) But, we were waited on promptly. However, all the staff were in pajamas. How distasteful and unprofessional! The food was spot on. Our cook prepared our steak to perfection. The ribs were just as scrumptious. This could easily have been a 5 star experience but a few undesirable circumstances pushed it back to a weak 3.

We just had a really great experience over all. Our server was so great that we left her a $20 tip! She was so kind and sweet, and she did a wonderful job. Our food was perfect. I ordered the prime rib with green beans (best I've ever had) and a crispy delicious salad. My mom ordered the Ribeye and it had the perfect charred edges and was super juicy!

Texas sure puts together a nicer Texas Roadhouse than Michigan. I expected Applebee's type food and service and found this Texas Roadhouse to be a step or two above. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was spotless clean and very nice, mostly authentic (not bought in China) decor. The food was good and it hit my wallet just right. It's not supposed to be a top dollar steakhouse,

Staff was super nice and friendly. It was my grandson's birthday and they were really good to him. Food was great - steaks were all cooked to perfection, and there were 9 of us. Everyone was happy with food and service. Best steak in the area (imo) with the Dallas Fillet. Thanks, Roadhouse, for never disappointing!!

I have had better service! My steak was good but husbands was not. Even after 2nd one. Manager did discount. Food set too long was not even warm. Waiter's fault not very tentative.

Believe me, I love steak way more than alcoholic beverages. I would much rather dine at a Steakhouse that doesn't serve any alcohol at all, but the Texas Roadhouse in Bowie County, TX has been fair. Thank you

We had a great family evening at Texas Roadhouse. The food was excellent. Kiddos had mac-n-cheese and steak bites. We had steaks and shrimp. Everything was cooked nicely, and the service was great. Our server was very attentive and kind. The only problem was very minimal and not that important; the light above the table was out. No big deal! Thanks for a great experience!

This was the busiest I’ve ever seen a Texas roadhouse location. Came at 7:00 on a Saturday night and it was shear pandemonium. We were quoted a 35-minute wait. Actual wait was 1 hour 25 minutes. Everyone was asked to wait in their cars. Despite the chaos, the waitress was friendly and got our orders correct. The steak was cooked perfectly.

Their rolls with the cinnamon butter! So good. Our dinner was good, also. Had a bit of a wait to get a table at 2:30 pm on a Sunday but was worth waiting for.

Love this place its always great but I am ready for them to get a bigger location because a 35-40 min wait when there is no waiting room is kinda ridiculous

We always have great experience with the service and food here. But one thing I have noticed every time I go here is the bathroom, it smells bad and really needs a good cleaning. I think a good clean bathroom says alot for the cleanliness of a restaurant.

Ordered beef tips w/ mashed potatoes. Their house salad is always good. The beef tips had good flavor but were just a little tough. BUT....their mashed potatoes have got to be the best I've ever eaten from any restaurant....they are beyond amazing...

On 7-9-23 we had horrible service and we had reservations for 10 folks, we even did a call ahead 1 hour before 3pm on Sunday evening, and we still waited for 1:15 minutes and still never got in to eat, we went in several times to check and see what the hold up was, they said they was waiting for the table to be cleaned all 3 times we went in to check and see what the hold up was. We even had a group of folks with 8 come in after we did and they got seated. So we went next door to the Longhorn Steakhouse and got seat right away. And by the way we never received a text saying our table was ready. Be curious to see what the TR owner replies and says about this!!!! My guess would be nothing!!

We had to wait in the heat for two hours and had a reservation for 3 pm. They kept telling outs that they were cleaning tables for an hour , we had a party of ten and we decided to come across to the longhorn where we could sit in the cool and they had a table for us in 15 minutes . I wouldn’t recommend roadhouse anymore. We’ve been coming here as a family sometimes once a month , for years and another family of ten came in after us and got us n before us , its a shame .

They are so scared they wouldn't even let us in till our table was ready. They said it was to "crowded" in there even though there were more people per square foot in the dining area than up front in the waiting area, also last week their was no problem waiting up front even though there was a "crowd". Makes no sense but im sure in their minds it does. At least their Steaks are still amazing and service is still good

Server was a doll, she did her job politely and quickly. The one thing I liked the most about her is she isn't like the other servers that come up to you and ask if everything is good while your mouth is full, speaking of food. Mine was way overcooked. The steak was extremely tough I didn't even eat it. I literally had a hard time cutting it with a knife. I ordered a medium and it was over medium well.....the server apologized and looked a little sad and I told her it's not her fault that the cook overcooked it. I still tipped her because again her job she did...perfectly.

Our go-to place when we each want something different in a steak option. We prefer to do take-out here as we don't "do" crowds or noise, both of which Roadhouse has. Food was ready on time and as ordered. My only complaint here is that the baked potatoes are never cooked long enough, but it's all about the steak, right?

They were very friendly and helpful. It was just as packed as it was the last time I was there almost 20 years ago and it was still pleasant and organized well. A very refreshing dinner experience....

I honestly think that whoever thought it would be a good idea to convert what used to be a comfortable waiting area to tiny no room having booths should be fired. At the expense of volume they sacrificed comfort and relaxation. They have crammed so many tables in one area I don't understand how this hasn't been deemed a safety hazard. And to make it worse they don't even have enough staff to take care of that many customers. We had to wait over an hour to get our food after ordering. I'm not a massive person, 5'11" 265lbs and I had trouble getting comfortable in a booth that was tight enough to squeeze my belly. My family member had to sit between the booth and table next to us because there was no way they could fit. Overall food quality, though good, was not worth the discomfort, wait and chaos of this establishment. Food quality ☆☆ Service ☆☆ Atmosphere ☆ Comfort "no stars"

The Roadhouse never fails! Cold Beer in tall mugs and a Bloody Mary with a kickin’ garden to season it up! Steaks cooked to your choice & the rib bones fall out the minute you dive in!! Service staff & management always has a smile & all are out to make sure you are happy with all your requests. We will definitely be back!

This place has really small tables. I start with this because the host attempted to sit us in an over populated section that would make it extremely difficult for the disabled companion that was having dinner with us. She did move us to a more accessible seating area which should have been the first location being that he as using his medical equipment upon arrival. The food was delicious and our waitress was extremely nice. Apparently they are receiving some sort of commission for selling gift cards and she asked us at least 5xs to buy them

When we were seated, we alerted the waitress that there was a spill on the floor and we needed some paper towels. She brought me some cocktail napkins after I'd been holding my feet up. When she returned with our drinks, I told her that we needed many more napkins. She replied rudely that she has to take another table's order and left. After waiting for several minutes, I asked for the manager. She finally returned and said we could have a new server because we told her how rude she was. We said yes, we would like a new server and we're still waiting for the manager. A manager? came and never sent paper towels or anything to clean my slippery shoes. Another manager came over and she finally brought me something. Amber is our new server and she is terrific.

I've eaten at TX Roadhouse in other locations and have been very disappointed. NOT the case here. They really have their act together. We were on a road trip and wanted to rest and have a good meal. We got both. Seated immediately, Ordering quickly and the food arrived quickly. Hot food was hot, cold food cold. We both had appetizer. Salad, rolls with butter, and a steak. Great meal then back on the road. THIS place has it together!!!
