I stopped there at around 5am during a trip on interstate 30. I only stopped because Google maps said it was opened 24h. To my surprise there was a note at the door that said that it wasn't going to open until another hour so i just went to IHOP down the street.

We stopped by during our road trip and immediately felt welcomed by out waitress Jacqueline. She was in a happy go lucky mood from the get go even though she was working on Christmas. She hooked us with the slam special breakfast which included eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, and pancakes for only $7.99! She came by many times to refill my coffee and check on us and had a funny and warm personality overall. I would come back here just to have her serve me again 💯

Server was fast talker almost in a rush. She made sure drinks were always filled. She was quick to bring food out. It was hot not just warm. She did spill a glass of water but it didn't get in anyone. The building was clean and we enjoy our meal. The lady that took payment was nice. Smile on every one's face.

This place is a must see if your hungry for some good breakfast. This alone was the best breakfast I have every had I will be returning hungry for more. the service is wonderful I felt so welcomed the moment I walked in. Thank you Denny's for the wonderful experience.

My server Shelly is excellent. I had her as my server the last time that I was here and she truly an asset to Denny's. The food was hot and prepared to order. Highly recommend!!!!!

Definitely a small Denny's, and somewhat out of the way; but our waitress was amazing, and the food was exactly how we asked for it. Gonna be stopping by again next time we drive thru.

Would recommend this Denny's. Had a stopover here for lunch while travelling from Arkansas to Texas. Every food we ordered tasted good and nicely cooked. Restaurant is maintained well, looks clean. Friendly staff! Close to Exxon gas station and a few motels/hotels.

I don't normally leave reviews for places like this but this time it's warranted because the food was great and our server Justice seemed like he should be pouring wine instead of coffee. I got the skillet, which is on the online menu but not on the menu inside, and I was surprised at how good it was. We were only in town visiting but would definitely come back if this is how they run the place.

Hands down the BEST service and food I’ve ever had at Denny’s! As someone who travels through various states with my husband 8 times out of 10 there’s a Denny’s next to wherever we stay. We normally dread going but sometimes we have no choice so we take a chance. Today we took a chance and to our surprise we were not disappointed! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile which never happens. Shelly E. our server was AMAZING, FRIENDLY and actually tended to us unlike most locations we visit. Hats off to the chef John Carr! The man knows what he’s doing and the food was cooked to PERFECTION! I can only hope we have to stay in Texarkana again because we will definitely not dread having to eat at this Denny’s. Thank you Shelly, John and the entire staff!!!

Went on Thursday morning around 6AM, October 16, 2023, and it was wonderful. I had the American plate. Forgot the lady's name, but she was an excellent waitress. Place was clean and calm.

I love Dennys. They have a new menu and more choices. The lasagna is great, but bring a friend - here is so much, you will want to share! I love the down-to-earth attitude of all the waitresses too. Always a good time!

The waitress was awesome. Very friendly and very helpful. Refilled my coffee before I could say anything. The French toast was sub-par. I could make better French toast myself and that's exactly what I'll do next time. The place was fairly dirty and needed to be swept up. Overall I would only recommend it if you really can't make it to another restaurant or if you just want to find out for yourself how bad it is. Won't be back probably ever seeing as I'm also moving real soon.

Food was OK. We did not receive food exactly as ordered. The staff did correct the order. It took a long time to get our food. Dirty dishes were left on the tables for a long time after customers left. Two of the employees were chatting with customers instead of tending to other customers.

Being a older Denny's location, the atmosphere was okay. The restaurant was short staffed, but we were waited on quickly. The food was delicious and service was great.

Soooo I thought I would give them another shot, you know maybe things have changed! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! The service is something else..coming from a restaurant manager this service is UNACCEPTABLE! My customers would NEVER have been treated so poorly! The service with the red hair in braids, first was EXTREMELY rude, took 10 minutes for a drink order, after waiting 15 minutes just for drinks it was time for me and my family to leave! Sadly they could have been quicker! They really SAT there talking about smoke breaks and not service! Whoever manages this restaurant SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!

If you want to save your time and energy please just go elsewhere. This is the third time I have placed an order online, waited for my food to be ready, and shown up just to be told they never received it. The call center has no idea that this Dennys isn’t run correctly. Dont wait your time.

Our waitress was nice. One glass was dirty and had to be sent back. Drinks weren't checked on for refill after we received our food. Food came out fresh except fries. I had the cali club which was good

Shelly was my server and she was amazing! Very friendly and attentive. My order was takeout and was served quickly and delicious! This Dennys is my favorite place for breakfast because of the staff and food! 5☆

The only reason such low rating is because it's one server everytime you go in. They are nice but the place isn't always clean. The servers are sweet and attentive. The food itself varies from chef to chef so I am always iffy about that when I go in. I am always spending well over 50 or more every visits. Now the meals there are not the low priced one's that are advertised so beware of that. The place is pretty pricey.

We had to wait for a waitress to come take our order. Then we had to wait for over an hour to get our food. Then our food was cold. I had ordered milk with my meal and when I asked for my milk I was told they were out of milk. Left without eating. Worst service I have ever had at Denny's in my life!

The two waitresses were more concerned with carrying on their conversation than helping the very few customers that were there. We were handed menus and silverware and told to seat ourselves wherever we wanted. Took forever to get our drinks. When we did get our drinks, waitress disappeared until food showed up. Food was dropped off, overcooked. Hash browns were burnt, toast was burnt. Had to ask for refills and then waitress disappeared again. Once again I think they were more interested in their conversation than helping their customers

Don't go at night! The waitress spilled my milk and dropped my toast. She spent most of the time talking to guests she was more familiar with and didn't check on me at all after I ordered. I felt uncomfortable asking her for things like more milk because she was having that conversation with the other customers. The cook forgot to put cheese on my eggs even though the menu said it was included AND I specifically asked for it. Also the waitress took her break right as I was about to check out, so I had to wait. I'm one to tip extra - $10, $20 - for great service and because I like to surprise the wait staff. This time I tipped the bare minimum, 20% or $3 and change. She missed out because of poor service.

Today was a good experience at Denny's. The waitress was awesome, Carmen was very pleasing and prompt. We had breakfast, biscuits were under baked, the bacon was the thinnest I have ever seen. Eggs were cooked correctly. Like most businesses today the employees are few and they need more workers. Perhaps its a sign of the times.

I had the "build your own" Grand Slam. The hash browns were perfect and the pancakes were soft and fluffy...they were AWESOME! 🤗The bacon, on the other hand, was overcooked (extra, extra crispy) at first, so I asked for more. This time it looked perfect, but had a funny taste to it, so I didn't eat it. The eggs were ok, but I asked for scrambled with American cheese and they used cheddar! 😬 Oh well, I ate them anyway...lol!

If you are in a rush dont go here. Restaurant was empty. Literally only 1 other table with a family sitting in there and it took 45 min to get out food. With that being said, if you are not in a rush this Dennys will work. The food was hot and tasty. Just wish the bacon was thicker. The waiter was very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. Due to the fact that we waited for so long, the waiter made us To-Go mango smoothies. The frustration of waiting ended on a happy note with hot food and free smoothies to-go. #slowdennys #friendlystaff

Headed back from Yellowstone stopped by the KOA here in Texarkana. DoorDash took care of delivery and did a great job as always. Anyway when I would think of Denny’s, I imagined pancakes and country fried steak ...not unbelievably delicious hamburgers. Not exaggerating, not even a little. I was astonished that the lettuce, tomato, onion were fresh beyond belief. I don’t know what kind of bun it was but it was toasted to perfection and the hefty patties cooked to a perfect medium. Denny’s cook deserves all 5 stars and if I could have given him/her a tip I would have. A hat tip also to that particular Denny’s for making sure the produce was exceptionally fresh. My wife and I really enjoyed the meal and will order Denny’s again when we pass through Texarkana in the future. Thumbs up.

My family and I were blatantly ignored. We had to walk out. Then we noticed that they already had our table cleared off as we walked past the window. Hmmm... so they had time to that, but could not wait on us. It was a horrible experience. 0 stars.

Terrible experience. All of our food was undercooked. Jessica the manager was very rude and did not offer an apology or any type of reconciliation. Do NOT eat here the food made me sick. I’m calling the corporate office first thing in the morning if I can stop throwing up long enough.
