By far the best and most well-known (infamous thanks to The Phatom serial killer ) park in Ttown. Been coming here since I was a tot myself. It's nice to see regular updates and maintenance. The path is great to walk. The spring itself is shielded from vandals now. There's always dozens of folks here enjoying the view, fishing, exercising, napping, and kiddos playing. It's great for the community that the city holds regular events here like The Scoutorama, Fleamarket, Movies In The Park, several festivals, and more!

Very nice clean park. Could use more playground equipment compared to how many children there were. Easy to navigate through and not congested by traffic.

Great park for the kiddos. I've ran the trail plenty of times, and wouldn't recommend doing so after rain because there are spots that hold water for days. The reason I don't give the park five stars is because the bathrooms are not pleasant. I don't allow my children to use the bathrooms at this park, nor will I use them. Very sketchy and not clean. Other than that, great park to go to during daylight and with friends.

We had such a great time! Went to the annual wine festival for the first time. It's a perfect venue because it's HUGE. Very nicely kept also. I can see why it's a centerpiece for the community.

Very nice, clean, and lots of play ground equipment for the kids of all ages and abilities. The history of the spring and plaques throughout were interesting and loved the reminders of healthy options to feed the ducks and geese. Was a great spot to use restroom and stretch out on long car ride.

Nice park for fresh air and a quick stop. The kids had some fun with the ducks. Picnic tables need some love.

We had a wedding there and it was beautiful. Plenty of pretty trees and the water was gorgeous that night. Easy to locate bathrooms helped our guests. And picnic tables were there too.

A nice and adequately sized park in Texarkana. It’s well maintained and has good space for many types of activities. There are baseball fields. There’s disc golf. The dog park is good as well. The area for dog park is huge and it’s covered with big trees providing shade almost to the entire dog park. I’d say that’s very much necessary for Texas weather. The perimeter trail is about 3km which is a good size for a short jog. There’s a small splash zone for kids. There is a small pond on one end of the park. It’s peaceful and serene.

I -30 off the interstate local park area. It is always a very enjoyable atmosphere there. It's quite a busy sociable place. It has some historical site features to see. It is very nice to see the ducks and the water fountains. The playground is great for the kids. The picnic areas are a good spot to gather. In the summertime the little kids really enjoy the little splash pad park area. There is always fireworks for the July 4th time of year. They have various events that takes place there. They have sports games there. People can enjoy fitness walks and walking dogs. It's next to police protection. It is a busy park overall, but a nice place to enjoy!

This is a relatively expansive park, with many playground options, some handicap play equipment, plenty of picnic areas, a cute pond, a fitness court, and a dog park (though we did not go see this specific area). The equipment was in good shape, the park was clean, and I even appreciated that the picnic tables were relatively clean for a public park. The whole family has the ability to enjoy themselves!

Great place to bring the kids and great place for a walk. There's an area for the kids with a splash pad and it's free. Definitely recommend and encourage you to bring your kids here for a fun day.

We loved the splash pad area. There was a decent amount of picnic tables with umbrellas. I visited from Shreveport. I will definitely return when in the area.

Great place for a walk or a run or just to take kids out. I have also seen people fishing. This place looks lot better than it did couple years ago.

Quiet and small lake and park seems nice. Nothing fancy but lots of people walking and kept clean from what I saw. Also, lots of trout in the winter months. Great place to take kids for a day of fishing.

This an excellent park for people and families, tons of space to run around, a pond for fishing, multiple playgrounds and so much more.

The park itself is huge . You can walk around the whole park for exercise or enjoy its scenery . Kids have options of different play areas as well. Has a dock/pier to fish from . And ball park. I can't wait to go to the splash park also in the area. Picnic tables and restrooms are available. And for the pokemon community, it's full of spinners .

Excellent dog park, with nice location near HWY 30. A perfect stop for travelers with a fog that needs to burn off energy. The park is well kept, clean and well designed. There are even specialized dog water fountains that were working properly in January. Thanks for having such a great park!

This is a wonderful park! My little girl and I always have a blast playing here!! They have multiple playgrounds available for multiple age-ranges, there is a huge pond with fountains, a couple piers that you can fish from (need fishing license), ducks and geese that can be fed, a great jogging track all the way around the pond that is bicycle, jogger, and skater-friendly, a small workout area near the jogging track, a splash pad which is a free & wonderful way for the kids to cool off in the summertime, and a full-sized frisbee-golf course which I've heard is absolutely awesome if you have the necessary equipment. All-around, it's the best park in the Texarkana area bar-none!

Nice Park but not much to do for older kids, if you have around 5 they will have a blast.

  • 4/5 John S. 2 years ago on Google
The park is usually clean well kept up and has new play equipment for children. The only issue I have is all the people that decide smoking weed is a good idea as every time I go the stench will burn your eyes sometimes. I would like to see much better police presence as that might would curb the dope smoking. Other than that I've never seen anything out of order other than people that go there acting like fools.

What a beautiful municipal Park! I stopped here totally by happenstance. I just wanted a place to pull over and route out the rest of my trip, but this park captured my attention. It's a large park by Delaware standards, and is very well maintained. It's one of the cleanest municipal parks I have visited. I saw two city staff driving around and picking up trash while I was there. There's clearly some community pride here with this park. The T-33 aircraft there was an unexpected and totally cool surprise!

Played disc golf it's spring lake Park this afternoon with my 8-year-old daughter. This was her first time at disc golf. We had a great time. I believe there are two courses out there, though they share several holes. I think everything is par 3. And I would say the longest hole was probably a little over 400 ft. The course itself seemed to be in pretty good condition. The grass was mowed, and the baskets and tea boxes seemed perfectly fine.
