Also A Public Restroom Here & Kids Play Area is Also Big... During My Last Visit There Are So Many Couples & Old Parents Walking By The Side Of The Lake & One Good Hearted Old Lady Feeding Every Cats Their Cat Food...

This is one of those decently maintained lakes in Thane. Good for a morning walk or jog! Peaceful even during a hot afrernoon

Love the atmosphere around this lake. It is surrounded with lots of trees, beautiful building and there are lot of cats too. If you love cat, then this place is like a heaven for you. So If you want to visit this place, make sure to carry some cat food. They will definitely like it and I bet that you will like this place too.

A few weeks ago, I was looking for a place to relax and get some peace and quiet. I decided to visit kachrali talav I arrived at the lake early in the morning, and I was the only one there. I took a walk around the lake, and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The water was calm and still, and the trees reflected in the water. I felt completely relaxed and at peace. I would definitely recommend this lake to anyone looking for a place to relax.

One of the best lakes in Thane, the City of Lakes! Also one of the major landmarks of Thane city. Not sure if Kacharali Talav is as big as the Masunda Talav near Thane station, but it's large enough. A Ganapati temple is located in the lake compound. The lake's entire circumference is lined by trees. A motorboat ride is available and it doesn't cost a bomb. The walkway around the lake attracts a lot of walkers both in the morning and in the evening. A number of cute, adorable stray cats is another attraction. One can feed the cats if one wishes to. There's also a pair of ducks. Maybe because it's located just next door to the Thane municipal corporation, the lake doesn't have the nuisance of bhelpuri stalls. A truly peaceful, tranquil place in the heart of the city.

I keep visiting this place often, to have a cool walk around the lake. It's in the middle of the city, surrounded by buildings. Many residents come here to get themselves refreshed. There is an area meant for children to play, have lots of different equipment for them. There are benches where one tends to see the groups of senior citizen enjoying life. It has a small nice temple inside and one feels blessed to be there. Good clean lake water and overall quite refreshing ambience. Definitely worth a visit.

Best place for Morning and evening walk for all age groups including children's. Temple as well as boating is also available.

It's a pleasant place to have a walk and for children to play. Centrally situated in the heart of the city. Parking is not as difficult as in other places during the mornings. The walking path is a bit narrow for the number of people that come to walk during the evenings. The morning atmosphere is unique, with a vendor offering health juices made from various ingredients that he claims are beneficial to health. It's close to Prashant sweets. The sweets, pani puries and ragda pattice are very popular there. Sometimes there is an unpleasant smell in the atmosphere. I'm not sure if it's the surrounding drainage or the lake water that stinks. There are mosquitoes in the evening. But that's a common thing around all Lakes in Thane.

Very quite place at the center of city with lush green trees and birds chirping

As I visited Kachrali Talav, the rippling waters mirrored the calm of the surroundings, creating a picturesque escape where the symphony of birds added a delightful melody to the serene experience.

The pond has a beautiful pathway around it. Located at the heart of Thane, one can easily get a rickshaw to come and go. I won't recommend taking your 4-wheeler as parking can be a pain. You can go for a peaceful walk around the pond and enjoy the greenery. The place is not too noisy early in the morning but it is next to a major road. A great place for morning walk or general exercise or even to meetup with friends. 🙂

Nice long oblong lake. Walking track surrounding the lake. Lot of greenery surrounding the lake . Like walkers and joggers , one can find lot of cats as this enclosed lake is a safe haven for them and are also taken care of by lot of volunteers.. Only thing is the surrounding can be a little more cleaner than what is and can be a bit more done up to make it one of the best..

Great place for morning and evening stroll. The jogging track is well marked with distance. The total track is 500 mts approx. The place also has a boating place. Paddle or motor boats can be rented for a ride. The place also has a small temple and well constructed seating arrangement around the complete lake. The trees around the lake and the fountain in the centre add beauty to the lake. The place also has a small stage for mini social get togethers. Kids can enjoy here on the small play equipments. Open air gym is also an added attribute. Soft music is played in the mornings and evenings on the soft speakers around the lake..!

Very beautiful peaceful lake in Thane. Seating is very comfortable and there are lots of cats roaming around.

Best place for Cat lovers Feel so good when we seat and play with that beautiful angels. I must say evey one should visit there some cat food.they want only your love and some food. Now it my favourite place in Thane

Its a beautiful place ,talav ( thane wellknown for ) is heaven for cat lovers as there are nearly 100-120 cats around the lake. They all eat catfood so you can bring treat to them as well... They are friendly and easily gets on your lap if you sit there for 5 mins... There are lots of animals around the place , park for kids , sitting arrangement for adults within park... You can enjoy true nature there ... Lots of rare birds are there too soo photographers also do enjoy the place... There is also a temple of lord ganesh. ...thane municipal keep Place clean on regular basis. As of my opinion this is must go place in thane if you visit

A well maintained and a beautiful place perfect to take a casual walk or a chat with friends amidst the bustling city centre. To add to it the ducks paddling in the lake and temples around makes it more relaxing. Only minus point is there are numerous cats inside which practically makes it look like it's infested with cats.

Opposite TMC office. Nice place, Ganesh mandir and also walking area around the lake. Swans, cats, turtles, fishes, ducks etc are living there.

Must visit if you're with your friends, girlfriend/boyfriend, parent's or children's. Also best place for me time.
