One
of
the
best
lakes
in
Thane,
the
City
of
Lakes!
Also
one
of
the
major
landmarks
of
Thane
city.
Not
sure
if
Kacharali
Talav
is
as
big
as
the
Masunda
Talav
near
Thane
station,
but
it's
large
enough.
A
Ganapati
temple
is
located
in
the
lake
compound.
The
lake's
entire
circumference
is
lined
by
trees.
A
motorboat
ride
is
available
and
it
doesn't
cost
a
bomb.
The
walkway
around
the
lake
attracts
a
lot
of
walkers
both
in
the
morning
and
in
the
evening.
A
number
of
cute,
adorable
stray
cats
is
another
attraction.
One
can
feed
the
cats
if
one
wishes
to.
There's
also
a
pair
of
ducks.
Maybe
because
it's
located
just
next
door
to
the
Thane
municipal
corporation,
the
lake
doesn't
have
the
nuisance
of
bhelpuri
stalls.
A
truly
peaceful,
tranquil
place
in
the
heart
of
the
city.
