Good place in anuradhapura to have some quality food. But price quite expensive. Interior atmosphere is calm and nice. Staff is professional and helpful. Food is really good and tasty. I can highly recommend Seedevi special family mix chopsuey rice. Has sufficient meats.

Amazing Hospitality, very calm environment and some delicious foods, the staffs were friendly and it's like a home away from home. I will always choose "White Lotus Holiday Resort" when ever am in Anuradhapura.

Bamboo Restaurants has average facilities. Wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Chicken fride rice was delicious. Clean and good. This is a quiet place to take a break while visiting the ruins of Anuradhapura. Walking distance to Abayagiri Dagaba. They offer veriety of juices in the shade of bamboo and very warm welcome. Friendly staff. Parking available for vehicles.

One of the best to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in Anuradhapura. Food is really good and super taste. Really good parking and it can accommodate more than 10 vehicles at once. The security person who is handling the parking is doing a wonderful job. There is a very good menu with lots of varieties to select. Indian, Sri lankan, Thai, Chinese and western food also available for dining. There is an amazing coffee menu also available for customers from breakfast to dinner but If u like try coffee along with ur dinner you have to be there before 8PM. I personally recommend Sri Lankan and Chinese food (fried rices and noodles) are the best to eat because, Indian and Thai food are not 100% authentic compared to the authentic restaurants in Colombo. But it doesn't mean that those are really bad. What they have done is they embedded the Sri Lankan infusion in to those.If u are not a 100% authentic fan of food this is the best place for you to try. Their chicken Kottu is superb. It has a super taste and they have lots of kottu varieties too.I feel u must try their kottu corner.

I’m a regular customer of this place. Whenever I visit Anuradhapura I visit Seedevi. Their breakfast buffet 🥞 is good. I only enjoy their Hoppers and egg hoppers. They have the best hoppers in Anuradhapura area and the Lady who prepared the hoppers is specialized on her job . She is so nice and helpful 👍 Dinner you can order any dish from their menu. Indian food, Chinese food and Italian food is available including Pizza 🍕. But be careful when you order dishes from menu. You give them proper instructions if not they will spoil the dish. Service is bad. Their attitude is like ‘ you eat what we give’. Be specific and give instructions carefully. After they give something wrong there is no body that you can complain and they will give silly excuses. The owner should improve these things. They have a separate bar with beer 🍺 , wine 🍷 and liquor 🥃🥂👍. Parking available.

Used to be a good place as Iv travelled here alot. But their service has dropped drastically over the past few months. Suggest to hop in at Alankulama which is a fairly a better service provider.

This is one of the few upscale-ish restaurants in Anuradhapura. I have dined there many times over the years with my family, work colleagues and friends. It serve a variety of Sri Lankan, Sri Lankan-Chinese dishes, and Sri Lankanized Western dishes.There is a buffet as well. Prices are slightly in the higher end. I found the roast chicken made in a style unique to the restaurant good. Service is reasonable, but waiting times can be quite long in the busy hours. There is ample parking space there. It used to have a bouncy castle in the weekends before the COVID pandemic which my kids enjoy.

I went to the Espresso Bar with another 5 members. Ordered two cups of tea with milk , one black coffee and two of Cappauccino. They served two cups of tea first then they delivered black coffee by that time the two who were enjoying the tea was finished there cups. Can you just imagine the time gap. When I finished my black coffee they delivered two cappuccinos. We were waiting till the other two guys finishing their cappuccinos We five enjoyed our ordered hot drinks at three times. Can you imagine their service. Further we wanted to have hoppers from their hopper counter. What a funny reply they gave to me. They wanted me to go to the outside counter and bill it. Why the hell the steward can't take the order for shoppers and serve to clinet who comes to Espresso Bar. Luckily I didn't order hoppers if I did so I am still in Anuradhapura because of their service. I wanted to have dinner from them but I changed my mind after having tea from them and went to another place where they have Indian food. Their service is excellent. Discovered this place by an accident. Use to be a major fans of mango mango (Now it is called: Golden Mango Indian Restaurant). However in a recent visit, they were full and refused to serve us. So when we looked at an alternative, ended up in Seedevi, not very far from Mango mango. The service is better than Golden Mango. Food is good too! If you ever get there on a Friday night they will also have a 3 piece band playing songs on request. They also have a digital ticket system showing how long your order will take. Prices are reasonable as well. Worth the stop if you are looking for an alternative.
