I've currently been training in the Alchemy team for over 5 years. Alchemy has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. I have trained under the head coach for over 5 years, I can attest to his endless knowledge, making the experience at Alchemy worth while. The Instructors/Coaches are top-notch, and the students create an open, friendly, and supportive atmosphere. The sense of community is strong, welcoming everyone regardless of background, level, shape, or size. Trying a trial class is highly recommended to understand the class dynamics and meet fellow trainees. Jiu Jitsu, thanks to the Academy, has become a significant and positive influence in my life. I can't recommend Brazilian Jiu Jitsu enough.

I don't train here regularly. I come as a visitor a couple times a year when I see family. Whenever I visit I'm made to feel so welcome, people are very friendly and the instructors are world class. Everyone is always smiling.

I joined this club just under a year ago terrified, nervous and unsure. I came out of my first class wishing I started sooner. BJJ is not only a phenomenal sport that is amazing exercise for your body, but it’s also fantastic for your mental health. It has eased my ocd and anxiety, has helped me think outside the box more at work, has given me a confidence that wasn’t there before and is a form of mental chess that keeps you sharp! And that’s just the sport! The actual people who run this, in my opinion, have created something amazing! It’s not just a class you attend every week but a community of like minded people, supporting each other on a journey of learning this amazing sport! The people who teach it are patient and invested in your improvement. I highly recommend this to anyone, give it a go, come to one class and you’ll be hooked!

There are martial art gyms in the area that are after only one thing. Your money. And they trick you into signing shady contracts hidden behind injury waiver forms. Alchemy couldn’t be further from that. Alchemy is a safe, welcoming environment with the very best actively competing coaches. And the very generous students who allow you to grow and develop your skills.

I've been going to the fundamental gi jujitsu classes for a few months now and can't recommend it enough. I've had no previous martial arts experience but the coaches and classes are brilliant and everyone is incredibly welcoming. I would suggest to almost anyone to give it a go, it's so much fun and such a release from the day to day stresses.

Fantastic gym. You feel part of the family as soon as you walk in. The coaches are really knowledgeable and cater to all levels. I have 2 girls 13 and 9 who love it, taking these classes has been a real confidence boost to both of them.

Welcoming environment. Everyone trains hard and helps the new people and seem to bring back lots of medals at the competitions!

Fantastic instructors and a real family feel accross the whole class. My 6 year old daughter can be very shy but Gunz and Liam really help her come out of herself. Her confidence is growing with each class. I'd highly recommend BJJ for all youngsters. I also like the fact that in ten years time she'll be going to pubs and choking out over zealous suitors!!

Great gym!! The teacher is great, and you really learn a lot. Everyone is treated fairly. Honestly if your new to this sport or been in the game awhile this is the gym for you!
