On Monday, 31st July, when it had been raining without end, I went to the service window of the restaurant  at the Pier in Broadstairs and bought a half pint of beer which I took to a table close to the building.  I didn't think much about it since nearby a group of people sat at table with their drinks.  However, a few minutes later a service person came to me and requested that I  leave my place and take a seat outside the restaurant's area and to sit on a bench on the pier with my drink.  Her explanation was that their tables were reserved for peole who also had meals!!! I noticed that the group of people at the nearby table were not reminded although they had no meals.  Anybody who wanted a meal and had some sense sat inside the building. Well I was quite shocked, left and to find a dry place in the vicinity i.e. at the pier. An hour later, all tables outside the restaurant were still empty since no one wanted to sit there due to the bad weather. Under no circumstances wil I visit this restaurant again.  Good service is different.  I prefer  to take my money to instituitions where customers are treated with respect!!!

Okay where do I start? The food and drink were great. But I want to just say here how welcoming the staff were. They were fun and friendly, with a real warmth that made a guy on his own feel totally relaxed. I loved watching them host a birthday party with the same professionalism and care. I hope the owners see this and pass back to the staff that they made a guy under a lot of pressure feel at home. Every single member of staff (I interacted with maybe five) was next level attentive and personable. Thank you. Tmi but a tough time for me and wanted to say.x

We had lunch here with our 2 young boys. It was delicious and a perfect end to our stay in Broadstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to our boys. I had a posh prawn cocktail to start, seabass special for mains and finished off with bombilinis. Everything tasted lovely start to finish. The boys had Scampi and chips, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend to anyone visiting Broadstairs to try this place. The views are amazing!

Lovely place located right on the arm in Broadstairs. The menu is great and the staff are really friendly. It's pretty small inside so I would recommend booking in advance to not be disappointed. The food was excellent and i can recommend both the mussels and also the scampi (pictured). When we went it was lovely and sunny but I would really like to go back when it was lashing down a gail and the sea was up!

From start to finish we absolutely enjoyed our time at this incredible restaurant. The staff were all welcoming, but genuinely so, and very attentive. They made my five year old feel like the most important person in the world. The food was great and the view was perfect. Our first visit there but definitely not our last :)

Stopped off for a mid morning coffee so cannot comment on food. Decent coffees (could have been a bit hotter) but delightful hot chocolates: definitely go for the cream and marshmallows as in the photo! My daughter loved it. Beautiful location right on the end of the jetty in Broadstairs, overlooking the beach. We were very lucky with the weather which help but if you want a great little pitstop which is dog friendly (outside only) with clean toilets you can't go far wrong here.

My wife and I arrived starving and without a booking and the delightful staff was super accommodating by squeezing us, even though they were fully booked. Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. Great food, service, views and very reasonably priced for the quality. We got the fish cake, scallops, mac n' cheese, fully loaded chips and bombolinis. The only bad thing about this restaurant is it's so far from London, but we'll be sure to dine here the next time we're in Kent.

Attended here for dinner and the service was exquisite. Ordered the special of king prawns for starter which was amazing. Ordered pan fried cod for mains which was ok. Didn’t get chance to try the dessert as we were stuffed. Would recommend.

We traveled to Broadstairs for the day with no bookings and gave the Jetty a go. They were booked up but were so helpful and were able to squeeze us in. The food was delicious! We couldn’t stop talking about the flavours and even after we finished eating we could have ordered more! This is a real hidden gem plus the views are something special.

Reservation is high recommended! They allow 1.5 hours to dine. But the lady who served is very accomodating as she moved the reservation around so that we can finish our drinks post lunch. From the food, service and location is flawless! High recommended when you are in Broadstairs.

A brilliant location with lovely food. Good options for vegetarians too. Eating good food with and amazing view and an atmosphere that is cosy (we were there in winter), but not stuffy made for a memorable meal. Update: Great in summer too.

This is our favourite eatery in the town so far. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food all adjacent to the most stunning sea view. The burger was well filled and the seared salmon and tuna was simply divine. Highly recommended.

The best prawn cocktail I've ever had, and I've had a few over the years... chicken Kiev was scrummy, but overshadowed by that delicious prawn cocktail 😋... fab location and super friendly service too, I will be back soon, promise...

Food and presentation is very good. Staff are lovely and friendly. However, don't understand why the bill carries so many mandatory taxes?! Tax A 20% is your usual tax but what's tax B if it is not a service charge of 12,5%?! Receipt says service is not included?! Super confusing, not visiting again

Exquisite food, tranquil setting for a reasonable price. Whilst on the beach with the family we noticed a this restaurant up above the beach by the cliff edge and thought we would give it a try. My son has quite a few food allergies so we called ahead just to check they could accommodate him. The staff were great, very considerate of his needs. All the food we had was excellent, presented well and brought to us by a very welcoming team of staff there. I really appreciated the select menu of well picked dishes and everything was reasonably priced. Would recommend booking ahead like we did for lunch as its not the biggest of restaurants and got quite busy. A great find on our random day out on viking beach.

Well this is now one of my fave places to visit. Me and my partner came here to celebrate his birthday and we had the best time. The food was 10/10 - the portions are a great size, and everything was so tasty and you could tell it was cooked freshly for you. The service was speedy and everyone was very friendly. We will be back again soon I’m sure!

Wow wow wow, what a beautiful hidden gem. We had the fish croquettes , tuna and salmon sashimi, beef burger and the fish curry . I personally, could not fault it. The fish was melt in the mouth . And it was such a pretty plate of food. Only one slight criticism , my partner said the burger is so loaded that it needed a bigger firmer bun and a stick to hold it together. As it wasn’t easy to hold and eat. But otherwise delicious and hearty. The Staff were friendly and attentive . And I loved the decor in there too. Especially the bar top. And the lobster 🦞 Thank you for having us. We are definitely coming back.

We came last night for a group Christmas meal. There were 16 of us so I can imagine not very easy service wise but the staff were amazing. Incredibly friendly and efficient. The food was perfection and the drinks were lovely. Thank you for a wonderful start to our festivities. Would highly recommend

Location is great so is service. The food though is ok. I had the Goa curry which was a 7/10. The curry was good but the prawns and fish were tasteless. The rice was hard and tasted like microwave rice. For almost £20, I expected a lot more.

Without a doubt the best food and dining experience we had all weekend. All of the food was 10/10, staff were attentive and polite and the views and location are great. You need to book and it gets really busy in the summer, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Such a fantastic evening meal, with the sun setting over the sea behind us. Delicious food at every course. Friendly and quick service. The food flavours were excellent and each course beautifully presented. Nice wine list and good offers on doubling up on the gin! All in all a lovely experience.
