0 Star Review Our first visit to Broadstairs and by the end of the busy day we wanted to had a good Indian meal so we decided to visit this restaurant. There was 4 members in the staff and no one was there to take our order, we had to go and tell them to take our order quite a few times. We have an order and liked the popadoms so we order a few more. The chef (Manager of the restaurant he said ) came to use and rudely spoke to us said we can’t order more than we order in the first go. The staff was being RACIST and yelling at us and arguing with us so eventually we had to leave without having any food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who really like to enjoy the Indian cuisine in Broadstairs.

The chef/owner/manager is very rude and he believes that only how he wishes other people shall order. Very RACIST towards Indian people although the restaurant only survives on Indian Cuisine. Would have given negative reviews if possible.

1 star out of 5 Service was miserable and my meal which was supposed to be a chefs speciality the chicken baha was nothing like described on the menu! Purely just chunks of chicken in a very mediocre sauce! Accompanied by keema rice with 1 tiny chunk of meat and my onion bhaji starter didn't come with a salad but a bag of finely chopped incredibly strong onions and literally nothing else, avoid avoid AVOID.

New to Broadstairs but had a booking at the nearby Sarah Thorne theatre (excellent by the way!) so needed a quick pre-theater meal hence our visit. After 45 minutes, we had just received drinks from one of the two staff whilst approximately 8-10 take-away orders had been taken by phone/in-person. I explained several times that we were on on a schedule to be told the food had arrived...we were then instructed it was OK to eat it now i.e. in the 5 minutes we had left...no idea what the food was like and sadly never will...hungry and extremely disappointed.

I've never been to a worse restaurant in the United Kingdom. They just use the same gravy for all curries and mix up the pieces of whatever you ordered, and the restaurant staff is unconcerned about your complaints and will simply avoid coming to your table. Never go there thinking it's an Indian restaurant.

Absolutely appalling, we sat down at 7oclock, took an age to get drinks, but it took even longer to get any food, our food eventually arrived at 9.20.!!!!!!!! Don’t get me wrong the food is good, but 2.5 hours , really. Two starters were substituted without any consultation. One member of staff was most memorable, as her offered to meet one of our group outside, to sort out their differences, this can be verified by the other 12 members in our group. Needless to say we will not be returning. Makes Faulty Towers look tame.

We came on the Sunday May bank holiday expecting to be turned away but was seated straight away. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Unbelievable service, friendly, warm and welcoming. Came on a stay cation to margate with family for the weekend and this was the last place to leave us with a lasting impression! Chicken kharahi was perfectly cooked, tender and good balance of spice! Cucumbwr raita, prawn jalfrezi, bombay flame were sublime!! Found out we had visited their partnered restaurant in margate which we enjoyed very much, after the waiting staff spoke to us at the end, and felt like this place was a more warm and lively service! The head chef came out and checked food was okay with us and all kitchen staff took the time to come and speak to us when food was finished and it was time to settle the bill! They even gave us a complimentary coke bottle to take for our journey home to London which was very kind!

Biryani that was overly doused in mustard oil, missed one dish and warm beer.

Recommend the Tandoori King prawns, generous portion and best was that it was spiced just right and can still taste the prawns. The special Chicken tikka biryani was ok, the curry sauce though that came with it was swimming in oil. Chicke Korma was nice and not too sweet.

Food wasn't bad came nice and hot, my husband madras wasn't particularly spicy and I found my butter chicken wa quite oily when I said something they told me it was butter. Unfortunately the service was awful we arived at around 9 and felt like they wanted us out kept standing over us giving us dirty look and made us feel really uncomfortable which wasn't very nice

This is really one of the worst place in broadstairs. The staff including the Manager, Owner and everyone are really VERY RUDE. Only visit them if you want to RUIN your day or eve. The staff here are really RACIST towards people and are very incompetent in doing their job. The restaurant and the people are worst people I have met in the UK. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED!

So, let me start with, we did not get any food. We didn’t even get that far! We walked though the front door to see the owner/manager/whoever trying to climb up the back of a guys chair whilst serving a table of lads. We waited for quite some time for someone to come and serve us, the staff looked very sheepish and almost embarrassed to be there. After climbing down off the chair, he barked “have you got a reservation??” to which we replied, no. Not thinking this would be a problem because there was so many tables empty, he said “there are no tables, goodbye”…. And as we walked out the door, he said, at the top Of his voice: “if your name’s not down, you’re not getting in!!“ The smell of the food from outside was really nice, enticing, but having now looked at the other reviews I can see that the staff, or at least their manager/owner is where the whole place is let down. Not often I write a review, but I can certainly say I’m super happy that we turned around and walked out of this place sharply!! Watch this space on Google Maps, it will be for sale soon, and good luck to New Management taking over from this lot!!

Food was OK until I found a piece of plastic in my curry, assume from the food wrapper. I told staff but even when I gave it to them they either didn't understand or didn't care... would rush to go back

A nice little curry house, 8 lads all sitting very close together, no elbow room. Standard fayre on the menu, but the food was very tasty, good size portions. The service was very friendly, but often the language barriers could be an issue, if you didn't follow rhe formulaic service, poppadoms? Why don't you want rice? Etc. The drink choice was limited and the Cobra was not good! Other than that, a nice curry!

Really lovely takeaway meal for four,. We were pleased that the chicken was cooked well, not dry. We had pathia, madras, passanda and jalfrezi. The peshwari naan was yummy. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely come again
