Excellent customer service on Christmas Eve from the Ramsgate Brewery. They could not deliver their excellent beer on 23 Devember due to Dover being gridlocked by trucks. So Lois delivered my beer order on Christmas Eve by travelling to Dover from Ramgate on the train and cycling up to the house with my beer order carried in her bike panniers. Above and beyond. I'm not local, but from Berkshire and a real ale fan. Discovered Gadd's No5 at the Ship Inn Deal. Great beer in a great pub. Had to visit the brewery that afternoon. Beer expert level chat over tasters with Eddy. The 10% imperial russian stout 2014 is a 10/10 beer. Joy. Jeff. June 2019.

Just a few words about the No. 3 Pale Ale. This is a truly delicious and traditional Pale Ale which has no hint of modern fruity/tropical flavours, but true Kentish Hop flavour. The best example of a Kentish pale ale I have ever tasted, far and away one of my favourite beers to drink. Hats off to all involved.

Possibly THE most enthusiastic producer of beer today! Great ales and a great ethos backed up by a GENUINELY well informed & knowledgeable workforce! A pleasure to deal with but more of a pleasure to drink the goods! Recommend them to anyone. Chris S

Having tried some of their beers in other places and having some for home delivery and really enjoying them we thought it was time to visit! We booked on a beer tour/tasting, Eddie really brought everything to life, it was such an interesting tour - learning about processing the same ingredients differently to get the different tastes, and hops and C02 capture. A generous amount to the tasting too. And of course we bought a few boxes of bottles to bring home! They do have different events on throughout the year so will be sure to keep an eye out for those. We were a party of 11, the guys at Gadds were fantastic, greeted us with jugs of ice cold water on a hot day, beer tasting involved a little background and context for each beer in the range we tried. All in all an extremely positive experience, special thanks to Jim for going above and beyond for us!

Lovely little seating area outside, in the shade (we had our 11 week old with us) but sun if you wanted it. Super friendly staff and good, locally made beer. Should have stopped by sooner
