Me and a friend stayed here for a couple of nights during the Demon Dayz festival. We were in the family room which contained a large double bed and a bunk bed in a separate room. The bathroom was ample and contained a large shower which was perfect. The room was modern, felt very new and was very clean. It was perfect for the couple of nights we needed and I was very happy with the stay. The proprietors, John and his wife (I missed her name unfortunately) were both incredibly friendly, helpful and made a lovely breakfast! I would happily stay here again and may well return with my girlfriend in tow.

Very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this guesthouse. I can't fault a thing. The owners were very friendly, the rooms superb and the bed was to die for. I had the best omelette ever for breakfast. I'm staying again

We enjoyed or stay at the guest house and the owners were friendly. Our room very clean as was the rest of the B n B .It’s a 5+ min walk to the beach restaurants. Parking could be difficult in mid season, but I’m sure the owners would help you with permits. Breakfast was a little disappointing as no cereals , fruit or croissants on hand which was what we expected as it said on the website, but I’m sure if I asked it would have. The cooked breakfast was ok, but I would have liked it to have been cooked to order and not reheated. As this would have made a difference.eggs were cooked to order. This is the only thing that could be improved on. Don’t let this put you off as it’s a great location and very clean. Would we stay again yes we would.

Absolutely fabulous stay at The Guest House in Broadstairs. Silvie and John made my family and I very welcome during our two night stay in one of their family rooms. They are such great hosts. Our room was contemporary, comfortable and very clean with a separate room for the children. Their breakfast was very generous and cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble. The Guest House is perfectly located only a 5 min walk from the seafront. We will be definitely returning!

This was our first outing since restrictions were lifted on May 17th! We had booked in January, but due to lockdown, the hotel itself negotiated a refund. We loved it-friendly hosts, comfortable, lovely room, great breakfast, good location near town and beach and on the 'Loop' bus route, which takes you around the other local seaside towns. Loved it all and will recommend to anyone. Thankyou, Penny and Albert

Five start is not enough, it deserves a 9.5 stars. Absolutely fantastic place to stay, very welcoming, lovely clean rooms. The breakfast is amazing. The hospitality from the owners is wonderful. Highly recommended. Close to the beach, parking is limited

We recently stayed at The Guest House a large party of 18, we hired a mixture of double and family rooms all of a high standard. The owner Danny and his mum and dad were great hosts. The location is great, only 5 minutes walk from the sea front and station. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here in august in a gorgeous family suite. The room looked clean and the children’s linens had a clean laundry scent. The main bed however was covered in hairs and the host was happy to change the linens and was very perplexed on why the hairs were there (both on top and under the duvet). We were a family a 5, with my little one sleeping between us during our trip. On the morning for breakfast my older kids and husband and I took turns for our meal while the little one stayed in the room because she wouldn’t eat anything anyway. The owner accosted me with accusations that there are five upstairs. The way he approached the subject was shocking and rude and honestly made me panic. I knew she was too little to eat breakfast and therefor was no extra cost and said no, we are four for breakfast. Later when we were leaving to go to Dover castle for the day, he ambushed us by the door and said, see there are 5, pack your things and go. I have never ever experienced such rude and almost violent anger from and accommodation. I knew there was a vacancy sign out front so asked if I could purchase another room for my littlest, but he gruffly told me there were no rooms and that I had to pack up now and leave. I decided I didn’t feel comfortable anyways and went up to pack. As I was packing his wife came up to apologize for his anger issues and offered us a room, as he had lied about there not being any available. We really wanted to go to Dover early so stupidly we accepted the offer and handed her 300 pounds cash. My husband had to go to two different atms in order to get the full amount. On the last day, the owner showed his full colors and attacked my husband, grabbing him by the collar accusing us of only giving him 250 two mornings before. He threatened to punch my husband, which is an experience neither of us have ever known till then, let alone during a vacation. We left quickly, but did get the 50 pounds for him because I could not tell if the reason for his behavior was due to hard times. While it was gorgeous accommodations, breakfast was ok, and honestly the male owner was both a liar and had a violent anger that made my family feel unsafe.
