My son had a great time here, after a day on Margate. He loved to climb onto everything and play with the sand too!

This was a beautiful award winning adventure playground with a Viking Ship as it's main profile. The kids loved it but Thanet District Council demolished it in April 2022 in preparation of a new plastic playground to be erected later in the Summer. The Council did not even consult with the public about this and instead of £20, 000 in repairs it decided to waste £260,000 on a new one. They tried to tell us it was rotten but as they cut it down we noticed the wooden structure was sound as the day it was built in 2009. At the moment it lays derelict in wait of it's inferior replacement Such a shame for the children who had no say at all.

We often go to this playground. It is a great setup with the swings climb castles and the amazing ship. However only downside is that people don't keep it clean. Other than that i would highly recommend it.

This is a free, outdoor play area, situated on the sea front area of Cliftonville in Margate. It's open every day, all year round, whatever the weather for children between the ages of 2-10ish. Children MUST be supervised at ALL times due to the climbing heights achievable for those adventurous, fearless children who decide they need to climb to the towers top which is situated in the middle of the Viking ship. Parents be AWARE, it rises to approx 20ft or 7.0 meters in height, so for those brave climbers reaching the top, will be gifted a brilliant view, then to top it all, there's an Amazing Spiraled Tunnel which you can Glide as you Down-Slide to ground level.

It's nice, the lack of seating in the park is odd but there is lots for kids to do

You would gladly pay to use this playpark. Everything the kids could want. Well done Margate.

Bit of a rough play park. I overheard some middle eastern looking children asking kids that were entering the park, "Isreal or Palestine?", lots of older kids were using foul language very loudly, some parents were vaping around playing children, others just left their rubbish on the green when they left and my 7 year old who was playing a Spiderman game was pretty much threatened by a 10 year old at one point. I won't be bringing him back here. Total chav park.

Very robust, interesting equipment. Hopefully it all stays in one piece. Margate needs more playgrounds like this.

Beautiful place for kids to play,But the problem is adults keep using the playing items meant for kids and it very sad to see don't take my kid there anymore waste of time.
