Lovely restaurant i went for sunday lunch. we had the 3 course special deal for £10.95. Food packs a punch. Drinks reasonable I had a mock tail as this is a Alcohol free restaurant. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely use again.

I've been to Dhaka, Bangladesh when I got married and I came to this restaurant with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to have some Bangladeshi style food as we have been missing it since our honeymoon. We were very happy that the food tasted like homemade, without excessive oil as sometimes happens in other restaurants. The vegetable Akhni rice (byriani) and the mushroom bhajee were amazing! Despite not explicit in the menu with the help of of waiter we found plenty of vegan friendly choices to choose from. The restaurant is very clean, tidy and pretty. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly and we had very interesting conversations.

Drawn in by the waterfalls in the windows, if you put that much effort into the appearance of the restaurant then there is hope for the food! We were really impressed by secret spices, the ambiance, service and food were all 5 stars. The food was very well seasoned and spiced and they were very accommodating with dietary requirements. Lots of vegetarian and meat options. We will 100% be going back soon. Thank you!

The restaurant itself is really lovely.. Had trouble understanding the staff as they spoke very quick The restaurant was quite empty so no real atmosphere and whilst the food was lovely it went cold quite quickly because of the air conditioning. The service charge was too high and I believe I should tip according to service and whilst the service was good..it didn't warrant the cost we had to pay. We went there many years ago and it was awesome 👌 but dont think we'll be going back any day soon...maybe just for a takeaway..it was a Friday night the week before Christmas just no atmosphere..

We went to Secret Spice tonight for my birthday. It was perfect! The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. We travelled from Whitstable as the reviews online for the restaurant were very good. Worth the half hour drive. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic evening celebrating Husbands birthday, 🍾 staff are friendly and attentive but giving us time to enjoy our food, great service from start to finish. Didnt feel rushed to finish. Everyone in group said they can't wait to go again...

It was date night, so a visit to Secret Spice was in order. The staff are warm and friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, not the usual all heat and no flavour curry. Well cooked, well seasoned, really flavour filled food. Not rushed, so time to enjoy our meal and our date. Was all this an expensive night out, well no, not when measured against how much we enjoyed our evening.

Not bad but not amazing food, nothing particularly outstanding. 'Dangerous' curry was just heat without much flavour, Vindaloo was quite bland and couldn't taste any vinegar, which should be predominant in a proper one, Ambiance lacking, lights too bright, and service a little rushed , having wanted to visit here for a while due to the positive reviews, personally I wouldn't rush back.

Popped in for a meal over the weekend. We phoned to book a seat last minute and they managed to fit us in straight away. When we got to the restaurant it was pretty empty which was a surprise for a Saturday evening. We were seen to pretty much straight away and drinks bought out shortly after, and had to wait the usual time for the food. Overall a decent experience with decent food but not the best we've had at an Indian restaurant. We would visit again if we are in the area

Can't give stars for the atmosphere only because it was a delivery service, we were staying at the Walpole Hotel in Cliftonville. We are sort of connoisseurs of Indian Food, this being our favourite cuisine and having tried dozens of Indian restaurants around the south east. This food was amongst the top five we've ever had - absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked, the balance of heat and spices was perfect. It was delivered promptly, still hot, by an impeccably clean and smart young man. We'd certainly choose this restaurant again.

We ordered thinking that the menu looked good, modern Indian. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food when it arrived. Oil was seeping through the containers. The Chicken rogan Josh was appalling, the masala was so sweet and the chicken didn’t taste as though it was cooked properly. The Akhni pulao was not as described it was actually an oily Biryani. The Dessert was “passion fruit brownie and beyond” and it was evidently out of date. The cake was so crumbly and dried out. We had to Chuck it in the bin. I’m absolutely appalled by the standard of food of secret spices and will never order again if I ever visit Margate.

Having visited Secret Spices on a few occasions now, I find myself finding an excuse to travel all the way from Dover, to Margate just to indulge in their delicious, great value food! Upon each visit, the restaurant has not been particularly busy - perhaps this is helped by me visiting during the week, rather than on the busier days such as Fridays and Saturdays. The food however has always been absolutely top notch. I've had Indian cuisine from restaurants and takeaways from around the world and I truly believe that the quality and flavour produced at this outlet really does surpass many others that I have tried, certainly, the best I have had here in the UK. The restaurant setting is classy and easy on the eye, the seating a little worn, but very comfortable, the service - very attentive, the food - DELICIOUS. I always look forward to making another visit to Secret Spices, thank you for your great Restaurant!

Lovely settings and absolutely amazing food! Will go back to try other items on the menu since the lamb shank, buriyani and chicken jaffrani was so good. The service was slow and order mixed up, but the guy was good-natured.

Ordered the chicken Rohan josh, veg curry, onion baji and mixed starter, secret rice and naan. All were really tasty and flavoursome. The tikka pieces were juicy and delicious. Bonus being halal. The curries were aromatic and cooked well. The secret rice had prawns in and naan was fluffy and soft Would definitely go to again when visiting the area

A very popular Indian restaurant in Margate. Often packed during weekends. Talking about food, it tasted decent. But not authentic. I think they should you better masalas. However, the Poppadoms are really popular here. Must try. Service was top notched.

Food was absolutely spot on, tasty, served hot. Service was great and staff were polite and friendly. No complaints other than the heating of the restaurant, it was chilly in there.

Attended an Abba Tribute night there. Great atmosphere and staff very efficient and obliging. Food was very good, the menu was restricted due to the entertainment and the need to get an early and late sitting served. But the food was perfect, in fact I think these are the best bhajis I've had for a very long time. Good selection of desserts as well, which isn't always an option in Indian restaurants, the Limoncello dessert was very good.

I ordered a takeaway for the first time from here, the staff were super helpful and lovely to deal with. Food was flavoursome and beautifully cooked. The madras sauce was a perfect blend of spicy. Thank you 😊

Ordered a takeaway and the food was not good. Poorly cooked naan bread that had a section of raw dough. Had two veg curry, aubergine and sag aloo. Both swimming in oil and flavourless. Oil also spilled out all over the bag and food items. Don’t order from here, not worth the money - the food went in the bin. I called up to let them know that they need to speak with their chef about these issues. They were apologetic and offered me a free main course and naan. Whilst I appreciate the offer, I would not want to eat anything else from here and would definitely prefer a refund. Good not edible in my opinion, I believe that the raw dough and amount of oil would make me sick.

My partner and I ate moved to Thanet recently and have been looking for a good Indian restaurant, we ate here after reading the good reviews, and can say that this was amazing. The food was superb - authentic, well spiced and full of flavour. The service was professional, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

Went out for an impromptu dinner with the family. The food was amazing, the staff were lovely and made you feel welcome and relaxed. The staff were able to have a laugh and a joke with you. Would 100% go again and recommend to anyone wanting a meal in margate.

100% would highly recommend this place, don't even look anywhere else, the food here is amazing, as a massive fan of the indian cuisine and having tried lots of places this was by far the best. Tried lots of different items from the menu and it was all incredible. The family are all lovely and work incredible hard to make your experience the best it can be, plus they enjoy having a laugh with all the customers. This is definitely my new favourite restaurant for any holiday trip 😋
