Rajalli Bird Park is a fantastic destination, definitely worth a visit. Kids will have a blast with the opportunity to feed ostriches and interact with a wide array of birds. The highlight is the massive cage enclosure, where visitors can feed love birds and parrots, including the magnificent macaw. The friendly guides provide valuable assistance in handling the birds, adding to the memorable experience. Additionally, the park features an enchanting enclosure with bunnies and various bird species, making it an all-around delightful outing for families and bird enthusiasts alike.

This is a must visit place when you're in Thanjavur. The place is well maintained and they have lots of exotic birds. They also have rabbits, ostrich, and ducks. The main highlight is we can feed those birds, which is a new experience. The entry fee is ₹150 for adults which seems high but it is definitely worth it. The staffs are very friendly and they guide us on how to feed those birds. There are many small stalls outside this place where you can collect souvenirs. Try to visit that as well. Every staff was polite and friendly except for the one at the love birds section. She was very rude to us and kept insisting us to move to other sections. She didn't let us in peace to look at the love birds section. Even when we asked her small doubts, she replied arrogantly. Other than her, all the other staffs were super friendly!

Rajali Birds park is located just opposite to the Big Temple (Brihadeeswara Temple). Entry fee for this place is 150 rupees for both Adults and Kids. I feel the cost can be revised (reduced) by the management team to seek more attention from the audience. They are providing some green leaves for Ostrich while we collect the ticket at the entrance. We can feed/give the green leaves to the Ostriches. Following there were a couple of wide huts available where we can find different types of birds (like chickens). They were so beautiful, that's the reason they were in the room(!?). After that, we can find a wide area for small parrots. This place is an open area, we need to enter their place and feed them as well. Before entering the place, they will give a small spoon of grains to feed the birds. We need to keep it in our palm and open it to attract the birds. The bird(s) will sit on our palm and have their food. We can enjoy those moments, especially kids will enjoy these moments. Unlike other places, they are not charging any money for photography. There are a couple of other areas also available to directly play with the animals like rabbits and dogs. At the end of the bird park, we can see one more place for birds. Here we can feed the food for big parrots. Inside the premises, a toy train is available. 7D theatre is also available, don't miss this place - if you like 3D, 5D & 7D experiences. Overall we had a very good experience and enjoyed our time.

Loved the place. I would recommend to visit the place with family and friends. The entrance fee is 150 per person. Feeding the birds will give you an amazing feel. More varieties of bird species are available. Hygiene is maintained. Nearby musical fountains are also available at the old district collector building at evening time only.

The Rajaali bird's park is a delightful sanctuary, a symphony of colorful feathers and enchanting melodies. Walking amidst diverse avian species creates a serene connection with nature. A must-visit for bird enthusiasts and families alike. Kids will definitely enjoy the place. Ostriches at the entrance welcomes the visitors. Apart from birds, kids can enjoy with rabits, and beagle dogs. Visitors are allowed to feed the birds and take photographs inside the aviary. Feed will be provided by the managment. Infact, if the birds know that you are carrying the feed in your hand, it will come to you and I really enjoyed this. It takes maximum of 2 hours to visit around the park, so dont hurry during the closing hours. Weekends are generally crowded. Entrance fee of Rs.150 for adults, and kids less than 90cm height do not have an entry fee.

Fully foreign birds, ducks, puppy, rabbits available. Must wash and clean your hands before entrance and after exits Some birds bite you shirt buttons and chains 😄😄, so please notted this. (Outside luggage allowed, no issues) Finally I suggested to go there at evening (3.30 pm to 5 pm)

My experience here was good. I visited during the closing time evening 6 due to which I did not have much time to spend, I don't find the staff here to be helpful, the best time I would suggest you is before 3pm , the entrance fee is 150/person and they also have fountain and 4d show inside them. They have birds rabbits, hamsters and many to play with them. If you have a kid of around 5 years this would be a best place for them

When you planed to visit Thanjavur big temple. This birds park also at same place. For each 150 rs ticket charges. For children below 90cm is free of cost.

U can experience, 1.feed Ostrich 2.feed hand full of grains to Love birds. 3.Vast type of foreign birds,especially dove. 4.feed food to parrots in hands.(in that cage u should carefull of gold ornaments) 5.Feed rabbits only for children. 6.5D and 7D cinemas.

Visited the Rajali bird's Park, very near to Prahadeeswar Temple, Thanjavur at the entrance of the car parking. This park is functioning since January 2023. This park consists of large number of birds of foreign origin. Made elaborate arrangements to spend time with the most Beautiful birds . Visitors were giving grains and millets to feed the birds in side a large enclosure . The birds simply come and sit on our shoulders and hands. It is a different experience for the kids. Kids can enjoy with rabbits by feeding cabbage. The entrance fee is Rs.150/ per person. Kids above 90 cms height is charged full fare. The fee collected is seems to be higher. Either they can give concession to kids or reduce the fees to all. Other than this one can surely enjoy the visit with kids.

Pleasent and stress free sector to spent at least 2 hours. Price is little high. It shall be considered for kids below 10 years as half ticket. But here is full ticket for above 90cm height person.

All the birds and animals are well maintained. This is the only place where I've seen all the animals up close clearly. The bird feeding is an amazing experience. It far exceeded my expectations. For animal lovers this would be a treat!

This park is located near to Shri Brihdeshwer temple, alongside of river. One hours is sufficient to visit full park. There is a 7D theatre which ticket is just ₹60 .

A super facility for a place like Thanjavur. Well maintained and will be must go place for the kids who like animals and birds. The highlight of this place is that the visitor is allowed to interact with the birds in the form of feeding them the food (which they themselves provide with). Really a place to visit. Hope the Thanjavur corporation keep up the cleanliness and does not allow the place to disintegrate. Entry fee as of now is 150rs which I think is decent pay for the facility and will be required to maintain the birds. Anyone visiting the BIG TEMPLE should visit the place which is very close to the car parking lot of BIG TEMPLE. There are some animals like rabbits and puppies etc.

Visited Rajali Bird Park in early June 2023. My daughters enjoyed the time spent in the park. The fact that you can feel the bird on your hand and feed them gave a wonderful experience to the kids. Apart from the entry fees (INR 150), slightly on the higher side, there is no negatives in this place. Highly recommended for kids.

Such a great experience to spend time with the birds there. It made us so much happier than we expected. It is better to go on normal days than on holidays to get more food to feed them so that you can spend more time with birds.
