I heard about this place some two years ago and visited today only. Took their buffet of 31 items. Pics speak for them. All I needed to have is only few spoons of rice. So many vegetables and all were tasty. Very well done. Just ₹250 for a buffet is highly economical I will surely recommend this place and visit again South Indian. Pure veg.

I have been to this place thrice already and it’s my favourite place to eat in Thanjavur. The food is authentic and heart warming with the added bonus of being organic. I’ve only gone their for lunch and there will definitely be rush and a wait. But the food and service is worth the wait. When you there make sure you have time to wait for both AC and non AC options. It’s both clean and affordable.

Very nice lunch buffet served on a traditional style Banana leaf. They have 30+ items, all delicious and unlimited, but it was a bit tough to understand what was being served as we were tourists who just knew broken Tamil, and the woman who served us didn't know anything except Tamil.

It was a unique concept. Dinner was served in 11 varities of tamilnadu dishes. Dosa and wheat puttu were delicious. They gave adiyappam in the end and that was amazing as well. Overall the price was a little high but worth it.

Clay pot cooking and the 30 item meal is just that. Millet, cold pressed oils, vegetables, jaggery, banana stem and leaf dishes, sambar, rassam, curd, etc. Served by the ladies who also do the cooking. The table is arranged around the clay pots containing the food. Also available is A2 desi cow milk ice cream.

The lady who served us explained each item which was served to us.She informed us adequately because of which we tasted all the dishes.Hatsoff to the lady staff. We met owner of the restaurant Mr.Senthil Anand who explained us the speciality in the restaurant like the milk from his own farm,the gingely oil used is extracted in his own place.He has been working for the idea quite sometime.We thanked him for his efforts & concept.Overall for those who want to enjoy real south indian food giving ample time ,this is a real FEAST.

The food was really amazing, first I came to know about this hotel from YouTube. And I went for dinner. They started with puttu, kuzhi paniyaram and upma, taste is amazing the quality of food also good. There are lot items in the menu, I had set dosa and pulka I doesn't like upma, what they served it's extraordinary. One of the best upma i ever had in my life. They served three type of chutnies and sambar the tase is good Set dosa - onion dosa, masal dosa, carrot dosa and podi dosa. Cost is moderate. Once again I will visit for Lunch and i have to taste different varieties of rice.

We had a lunch today at chellammals and it was in my wish list for very long time. Been there with my family and it really didn't disappointed me with the taste and hygiene they provide here. I drove my car nonstop for 350 km and went to chellammals for lunch and even after having a pot full of rice I didn't feel any heaviness. All the foods are curated to cater different tastebuds. The soup which is given as a complimentary is fantastic. Overall a must try place in Tanjore.

Ambience is very good and worth going. I tried dinner buffet with 16 options including side dishes. It was very filling and we couldn't try all of it and they righteously charged us only for what we ate. Their emphasis on traditional cereal usage, healthy cooking sticking to traditional methods is evident. Kitchen is open and accessible and they are transparent and friendly to answer any of our queries. Taste is ok but definitely the ambience and experience is worth to try

One of the best traditional veg restaurant I ever dine in. We had veg meals which had 31 items. I tasted each and every item, and I was not dissatisfied with anyone item. Quality and Quantity is top notch for the price of RS 250.Hospitality was really good. To mention Menaka and Jhansi were the ladies serving for us. I would highly recommend everyone try this atleast.

One of the best hotel for having traditional foods at a traditional way in manpanai. All the foods served over here are prepared in manpanai with viragu adapu, which is good for our health and add nutritional value to the food prepared. Could definitely try with family for the authenticated taste after having a great darshan at world famous bragatheeswarar temple, constructed by great Raja Raja chola, and to add the traditional setup the interiors are done the same way by using antique decorative pieces. Do visit the place and have a fully packed lunch with friends and family and enjoy the feel, like having food from our ancestors.

Went with great expectations. The look and feel is like a olden days guest house made with coconut leaves and bamboo chairs wooden tables. Hand made masala being used. Everything from cooking to serving is by women.
