Extremely hated it. If you're an ambience lover then you can go for it. It is extremely hyped by people so I won't suggest this restaurant as you can find many other good restaurants at the same ambience and price. Rosemilk, pottalam parotta and suttakozhi was good. Don't try kari dosas it was terrible. Just for ambience and chit chat with family you can go

Ramzan special... Iftar snacks boxes and iftar meal boxes are available now.. An authentic non vegetarian restaurant. Traditional taste. Non veg meals options are wide. Even though it's famous for non vegetarian food, their veg meal is also good. Their sambar is a must try. Tandoori and shawarma are good. I personally will not suggest biriyani. Their special and unique dishes are pottalam pothichoru (but check the availability before visiting), pottalam parota. Wide range of dinner items like parota, varieties of dosas, Chinese, bbq, tandoori and so on. Right from the entrance door, everything is chettinadu style. Interior, seating, lights everything gives a traditional feel.. very big and spacious ambience. During some occasions they have buffet dinner, and we tried it during this new year. So many veg and non veg food options they displayed. And the price was very very reasonable.

We ordered 1 special mutton sapadu and 1 special chicken sapadu along with Mutton soup, Prawn pepper fry. Soup was good. Pepper fry too. Overall its worthable but comparatively less dhan Kamatchi mess.

Everything was nice. We ordered potalam chicken biriyani, kola urundai, masala kalaki idly and chicken gravy. All of them were really tasty and good. We didn't feel heavy at all. The best part is that one can order kola urundai in the number of pieces one wants. Superb. Thanks. Keep it up.

Kola not tasty &smelly looks old stock, staff said not cooked properly. Food was reserved and still the same and never eaten. But still the staff forced us to pay for the bill. Thambi Vilas too good for taking customers money without paying their reputation

Especially that goli soda... #90skid memories are recovered.... Worth place in Tanjore city with proper hygiene food... Ambience are worthabale... Taste is out of the world which induces u again & again for this hotel... Economical also... Enjoy ur weekend party there...

A very good restaurant in Thanjavur. The food is great, reasonably priced and there's plenty of parking available as it's not located in the busier parts of the city near the raiway station. Non vegetarian, and dosas are their speciality so go for them if you're there. The staff was friendly as well. Good restaurant to visit if you're in Thanjavur.

Ambience is good. Food quality is really bad. They served chicken lollipop which atleast two days old and chill. On asking for replacement they just served the same pieces in a different plate. Biryani taste was not good. Overall completely disappointed.

We enjoyed the mutton kotthu idli and mutton Kari dosa.

None of the authentic cuisines were available. We ended up eating Chicken grill and shawarm, which were not as good as We expected..

This is the first time, I am trying this restaurant. Customer service is top notch appreciate each and every person there. Restroom hygiene is very badly maintained. It definitely needs to be looked after. Biriyani items and chicken Lollipop was good. Not much impressed with chicken leg fry/mutton chukka items. Masala needs to be improved a bit🙌

An authentic South Indian style restaurant in both taste and ambience and we have tried Chicken biryani, pichi potta kozhi Kari, kadai pepper gravy, lollipop and parotta and each every every dishes have an unique taste and pichu potta Kari and kadai pepper fry is a must try dishes ans it's a place to cherish with a good vibe with a family and Friends 😄😃

Nice place with good crowd, spacious and comfortable seating, good service and with good tasty food. Dosas are their specialty so go for a Kari dosa with their chutney and sambar. Their Picchi Poatta Kozhi is my favorite

Restaurant had opened for dine-in after serving only parcel during Pongal holidays due to shortage of manpower. So they operated with limited menu. Service took a long time because of limited staff for huge crowd. Might not be vegetarian friendly. Starters were served in small size plates without serving cutlery. Nethili fry, Prawn pepper fry, mushroom gravy and mutton dum biryani were good. Didn't feel heavy at all. Service could be improved though understanding customer Requirement. Total Rs.1200 for 4 person non-veg lunch. Worth the rate. Parking available.

Big name and loud interiors.... Below average food for the price. Seems the waiters are very untrained and unprofessional. All the great names and great interiors can't be substituted for good. Make good food happen... Rest can be ignored.

Food was really good taste. All unique south Indian taste like home cooked. Service was also good. We would like to come again and recommend all.

We went here on Christmas day and we're celebrating a birthday, so had vegetarian food. My review is purely about vegetarian food options here. Service: the staff were accommodative and allowed us to cut a cake there and arranged 9 chairs around a big table. They were trying to do their best dealing with the huge crowd on the day. Veg food: very limited options. Avoid the souls and starters, it's just not worth ordering them at this place. No taste, no preparation. Just seemed to be deep fried tiny pieces of paneer and baby corn coated in rava based batter. The gravies were decent.

Place ambience was gud. Food quantity was low for the price. Worst thing is waiting time after ordering was too high. Waiters over there was like why should I care or service them. Mentality was like let them ask and we will make them wait but give finally. Overall bitter experience. Not happy !!!

The overall ambience of the place is good with reasonable prices for the food they provide. The food in this place is very much worth it for the cost. I suggest having the potlam biriyani, either chicken or mutton as both are very good. For people who prefer roti, naan type items i sincerely suggest trying the chicken lappa as it is finger licking good. In terms of cost for vegitarian items you can fill your stomach by spending around 150 per person while for meat lovers u can spend anywhere between 200 - 400. Don't get the plain dum biriyani here as it's not great
