We stayed for one night in November 2018 and everything was good. The room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Good location, walking distance to river, bus station, resistants restaurants etc. The owner was helpful, he gave us good advice as to where to eat, where to find pharmacy and he arranged a really nice small boat trip on the backwaters. We wanted to go early morning, not at 8am as usual, and he arranged everything according to our wishes.

This is a truly lovely place. The staff is so warm, kind, fun and accommodating. You will feel at home right away. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Upstairs bedrooms are lovely and spacious. Nice garden and rooftop. Staff makes a point to facilitate evening gatherings of guests and this is a good place to make friends. They offer a nice menu of foods and beverages should you wish to eat at home. A good option as Aleppey is not a big restaurant scene. Prices for accommodation and meals very very affordable. Highly recommended!

This is one of the home stay, Means most of the tourist places that private persons using their houses to public staying purpose under rent. These are not lodges. But we can stay some days like as a Lodge. Rental payments are low, but the convenience is little problem. Because these kind of building's are located in residential area, so even we shall need a tea, we have to go atleast 300 to 400 meters distance. But lodges are not like that, so like to hidden choice the home stays are little better. But our routine convenience, LODGES are more better. This is I'm sharing by only my experience. Even once I was stayed in a home stay at Kolkata, they were collected from me Rupees 400/ extra. Very bad experience, But Lotus is not like that., Very calm place. only the distance is the problem. All the best.

Overall it is located in a good position but lots of mosquitoes are there. The staff Aseem is a very friendly guy. No food facility is available but food can be purchased from the restaurants nearby at reasonable price. We had to purchased drinking water from the home stay @ Rs. 20/- per litre. No facility of getting tea / coffee in the morning.

Quiet nice clean house just of from the mainroad. Near to restaurants and all. Really nice helpfull staff! We booked a perfect houseboat experience through them.

Nice Rooms in homestay. But No hot water. No AC. Lot of Mosquitoes. Online rates and the rates told by homestay owner may vary.

The room is good but no WiFi facility like as mentioned. Host refused to give me drinking water also and asked money for the same.

BRILLIANT Place to stay I booked a budget room and it was lovely and clean and comfy The staff are knowledgeable friendly and very helpful helping me sort out my rout round South India They booked me a day trip in very small boat with boatman who paddled so no noise through the tiniest of back waters seeing real back water life and started with breakfast at his house then after trip excellent dinner at his house in deepest back waters excellent and all for 1000 rup Lotus is only 100yds from main backwater activities Take the Government ferrys a 5 hr return trip 100rup ALL SPOT ON would highly recomend

I opted for single room, cost was Rs 450... There is no facility to hang our dresses in that single room.. Neat room and clean bathrooms.. Walkable distance from KSRTC bustand...
