The climate was so good when we went here. If you're looking for a short ride around Chennai, you should definitely come here. You can do off-roading and have real fun while you're here. Best time to visit is for sunrise. The place is not crowded at all. You can get amazing aerial shots too here. Do check it out guys!

Since the time of the British, people have travelled from different parts of the city to purchase the best fish from Thalankuppam Pier. Situated in Thalankuppam, a fishing hamlet along the Ennore High Road, this pier extends into beautiful blue horizons, making it a popular shooting location for films. However, the pier also lets you come face-to-face with peace and load up on plenty of vitamin sea, making it a fun place to visit for a day trip

Such a beautiful serene place to experience sunrise. Quite the drive to get to the place. The roads around are well maintained and there is a shore to enjoy the beach as well. The place is rocky and not recommended for kids or the elderly. Does not require any trek of sorts.

This place will make you feel peace inner your heart, Morning or evening whatever the time this place view is totally different and gives you a wow feel, good place for relaxation, fishing, photo shoots and etc..

Its one of the best places to spend the evening to witness some wonderful Sunset in Chennai. The Sunsets in the background of that Thermal power plant is an artistic view to watch. This place is highly recommend for boys as a group. After 5:30pm this place will be like an abandoned one, dark and lone place. So go with some safety precautions when u r going alone (Boys/Girls). When you are going in groups you can enjoy. Transportation : You have to take auto from the main road for around 1.5kms to reach this place, you will get autos frequently from bus stop to the destination but while return either u have to book auto or you have to walk.

Thalankuppam pier is a beautiful place for photographers to visit and take pictures. Angles visit this place to have some good time fishing. Sunrise view from the location is really beautiful. You can reach this place both via 2 wheeler and cars.

It’s a hidden gem near Chennai. The view of the refineries and factories, the sunset views in this place are awesome. This place is not for young kids and women’s since it’s little deserted and very less people visit here. I just saw few locals fishing here. My dear Drone Lovers…pls come and fly your drones here for an amazing videography and photography.

Lovely place. Isolated place compared to other chennai breeze. Cold breeze. A very soothing experience

If you wish to see the sea shore without crowds and a unique surround then this is a great place to visit. Ennore power plant in the background and the edge of Tamil Nadu coalescing at this point.

Peacefull

Best view of the petroleum and cement industry from the rock shore. Less crowd. Not recommended to visit after 6pm.

Private beach long drive from city .

Few people from the local and some people only visit this place . Sunrise is soo good but rocks are a little dangerous and yes we can take some good photos. Mostly boys only will visit this place and it's not recommended for girls to visit since some factory works are undergoing.

Best to experience during sunrise. You can expect no people there other than local. It is located inside the village.
