We had a wonderful afternoon on our first visit. Famous was great - attentive and knowledgeable, as well as funny. The wines are brilliant.

We did the 5km walk across the property. Was great to see the various biomes, orchards and vineyards on the farm. The route is challenging with many hills and downhills. So be sure to wear proper walking shoes. The trail is charged at R40 per person with a glass of wine afterwards. Our dog loved the walk and all in all was a great day out.

Such a fun experience - walking the 5km route and finishing off with a glass of wine at the end. The walk is easy and we were a bunch of friends that laughed along the way. The guy who worked there I have to single out though - Famous - he was fantastic, full of life and jokes! I will go back next time with more friends!! Higly recommend it 🍷

We just had a great tasting with Kwanda. He is a very kind waiter and tells about Almenkerk full of passion! We are in love with the Sauvignon and Chardonnay and would recommend them to anyone. We truly felt at home :) thank you Kwanda for the great stay. For reference, a tasting of the flagship range is 75 ZAR. Very very worth it!

Beautiful wines introduced by Famous. We enjoyed taking the Almenkerk flagship range and Lace range tasting together. We particularly enjoyed the Almenkerk Sauvignon blanc and the Lace red vinyard selection. Well done team Almenkerk on a beautiful venue, perfect views from the tasting room and Famous wines!

The 5km hike was amaizing and it is very beautiful and there's other hike's aswell. It really was just Spontaneous for me go have a look its worth it !!!!
