What a fantastic find...especially for bike lovers and families with kids. Awesome 20 meter training pool for swimming enthusiasts...Bike trails galore, conference center, cosy fireplaces, restraunt, bar and even a Bike Museum. Will definitely be back with mountain bikes.

Very Nice Hotel with good outdoor facilities for any one who likes a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of major cities this is the ideal place with great food delicacies to complement your holiday season and excellent services.

A cost effective, very clean and beautiful backpacker style hotel (shared bathrooms at the bottom level) that has 4star excellence! It’s a biker’s dream! There’s dedicated places to wash your bike, service it and store it while you’re up and about after your biking experience. They do require you to order your lunch or supper a few days ahead of your arrival so that when you’re seated at the long tables - your food comes out within minutes. There’s a library area to read and wind down or to catch the exhilaration of a sports match. The bar keeps you hydrated at all times while lounging around. They have a bike route that’s child-friendly and wall climbing for the little ones too. Have a sarmie, schnitzel or pasta for lunch or dinner! Very tasty! A cold breakfast is served to fuel you for your bike ride or your trial run in Oak Valley. The owner comes around to greet and interact with guests. Takes genuine interest in them. Such a special touch.

It would be more appropriate if they changed the name to 'Trail's End Bike Hostel'. For a hostel (if cheaper) it would have been outstanding, but for a hotel I at-least expect a window in the room. If you stay here make a point of asking for a room with a window, the alternative is a cave with zero ventilation. For a stunning location its a pity they didn't make more of the view. The fireplace was great and staff friendly.

Had an awesome weekend thanks to the excellent service received especially from Shadrack who went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant and welcoming as he could.. I will definitely be returning again in the future..

Stopped at Trail's End for a spot of lunch. Staff were super friendly and happy to help and service was quick. I had the chicken schnitzel which was very tasty. My sister ordered a kiddies mac 'n cheese and was surprised by the size. Obviously I had to taste some of hers too and it was very nice. A friend ordered the hamburger and I was repeatedly told that it was delicious. We didn't stay long but from what I could see, the venue is clean and appears to cater for cyclists' every need.

The first bike hotel in Africa! The best place for mountain bikers! We stayed with a group of riders from Ukraine. Super hosts showed us trails, it was unbelievable morning ride with south-african mountbikers. Pieter showed us the bike museum, it was very interesting. The hotel have everything for good relax after ride - mechanic, pool, bar and restaurant, clean and comfortable rooms. I hope we come back again!

Really loved the stay here. Staff was super helpful and always interacted with one every time you returned at the end of a long day. Meals were wholesome and filling. Will be back for sure

The rooms were very nice, crisp clean bedding and comfortable beds. Food was good and the staff are friendly. It's also Child friendly, they have a nice bike track for the kids too.

What a fantastic Bike Hotel with a fascinating bike museum, swimming,gym, yoga, Mountain Biking and conference facilities. The rooms are neat and clean with onsuit bathrooms ideal for families of 3-4. The parking is secure and the restaurant makes great meals. We had a lovely tour of the museum on arrival and enjoyed the cycling facilities as a family.

In terms of a biking adventure trail, it's a great venue. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, if you're looking for a good night's sleep, you're going to have a bad time. The bedrooms are adjacent to the dining hall / entertaining area. So a group trying to have a good time are going to disburb anyone sleeping and in our case the group were up till 2am. Our bedroom was also quite a dissapointment as we had no plugs in the room for charging phones and no windows that opened outside with fresh air and ventilation , and opening the window into the entertaining area made it even louder. Bedrooms were nice and clean, and the bedding was nice. Overall, it's more of a hostel than a hotel. So if you manage that expectation and are there for the trails then great, bur if you're looking for a place to stay, it's probably best looking somewhere else.

A beautiful setting and surrounds. The accommodation was very clean and the staff was just brilliant👌. A very nice place to get away with the family especially if you like biking and hiking. My only gripe was the nachos we ordered, had no flavor and reminded me what bland was. Everything else was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again. Thanks Trail's End Bike Hotel team👏.

Well what can one say about this amazing little gem in grabouw whether you are a mountain bike enthusiasts or not i would highly recommend this place to stay over.
