The girl with the bolts in her face and blue hair is rude and doesn’t listen to a thing you ask for. Had to pull up and wait 10 minutes. Orders are never right, burgers are raw, fries are a hit and miss. Save your money and go to One Eyed Buffalo, it’s the same price just a lot better food and service. Oh and our local sheriff got a loogie stuck in his straw when he went here. The only reason he knew was it got stuck in the straw taking a drink.

My friend and I just went through the drive thu and all we ordered was 2 sweet teas no ice. We sat at the drive tru window for 20 minutes after we gave them the $2.12 that it cost. I understand that there is a rush during rush hour but it does not take 20 minutes to put sweet tea into 2 large cups, put a lid on it and hand it over. This is one of many reasons that I am only giving it 1 star. I have had many other issues with this McDonald's but I will not mention it on here.

Terrible experiences with this McDonald’s. Thermopolis McDonald’s employees complain over the drive through speaker about your order if it’s not convenient for them to make. My orders are always small and for one person, I’m not ordering for 10 people at the drive through, but they make sure to complain about having to work. McDonald’s HAD strict employee policies for customer satisfaction, but not here. I’ve spent money at this location a handful of times, never again!

I visited here on Saturday late morning during Labor Day weekend. I was pleasantly surprised they were still serving breakfast. The guy working the counter was very nice and even told me about some local areas to visit. I had the made to order hotcakes as he suggested that were very good and a delicious caramel frappe. It's nice to go in and be greeted by such friendly staff.

I went through drive up on 1/15/24 around 2:15. Over the speaker I heard her say my order was $4.59. I gave her a $5. She then asked if I had change because her till was getting low. She at no time said my order was actually $5.49. I asked her for my change and she just closed the window on me and walked away. (She should have said “no the order was $5.49” and I would have paid an extra dollar.). I then walked inside and asked for my change (still thinking my order was $4.59). FINALLY she told me the total was $5.49. I started to say something and she turned around and walked away. So rude.

I understand that it's more complicated than most of us think. Egg McMuffins don't just grow on trees. You have to get an English muffin, egg, ham, cheese and then somehow assemble the components in the proper order. Things like this simply cannot be done in a 10 minute time frame without advanced planning. These people recently retired from Lockheed Martin and decided to enter the arena of fine dining. My only hope is that they are getting paid at least $38 per hour for their service to the community.

Rude, unfriendly staff. Young woman stuck my drink out the drive-thru window, snatched my payment, & shut window all w/o uttering a word. Also, wait time long even though not a busy time of day & my vehicle was 1 of only 2 in drive-thru. Am done w/ McDonald's in Thermopolis.

Super dirty and nasty. Nothing was clean and workers were sitting there doing their training with no earbuds in so it was just blaring while I was trying to order. Felt super uncomfortable because of how they were cursing constantly and just not caring that a customer was ordering.

Went there for breakfast 9/4 no orange juice. Went there 9/5 no tortillas for breakfast burritos. Sat in drive thru for over a half an hour. Received my breakfast sandwich and not a single napkin in the bag

This fast food chain is one that I avoid at all costs usually, but went ahead a got myself a burger. My tainted view of this franchise has come from me watching two videos. The first was "Super Size Me!" Which was a documentary done by an individual who made Mcdonald's his sole choice for his food intake for one month to see how it affected his health. Starting by having his current general health completely documented as a baseline for his experiment. By the time he had gone a full month with McDonald's being his only choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, his health had declined so far that the doctors who were monitoring his overall health, told him that the likelihood that he would suffer a heart attack or stroke at the very least if he didn't STOP EATING AT MCDONALD'S HE WOULD MORE THAN LIKELY DIE. HIS MAJOR ORGANS THAT WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING HIS FOOD INTAKE WERE SHUTTING DOWN AND ON THE VERGE OF COMPLETE FAILURE. The documentary ended with some factual updates related to the outcome of his experiment, one being that it took over a year for him to return his health to his pre-experiment condition. That included him losing a total of 48 lbs that he had gained in the one month he ate only a McDonald's diet. The other was a movie depicting the story behind the franchise where I learned that the man who has been or was the CEO of Mcdonald's from its inception was not the two Brothers that started the restaurant down in Southern California. Ray Karcher was a sales representative initially hired to help the Brothers expand their assembly line concept that transformed a burger shack into what is known today as a "Fast Food Restaurant." Knowing that the guy who claims to be the founder of the largest Fast Food Franchise in the world stole the concept and name that made McDonald's a worldwide known brand worth billions, from its true founders the McDonald Brothers, make me boycott the franchise based on principal and in support of the brothers who continued to run their original burger shack down south for years.

Gets 2 stars for semi clean store. Was in town for a few days. Gal has earbuds hanging around her neck no name tags anywhere from what I saw and talk about sly and snarky, that being said put her in the back and get her off the register.

Laziest group of people in Thermopolis. Dr. Kevorkian provided better service to returning patrons.

Usually, I don't post negative things, but I was so disappointed. My fries and nuggets were cold, and it was not even 1:00 pm. I didn't have time to go in and get new stuff. So in the trash it went. You couldn't eat it.

Service was terrible. I accidentally erased my order from the kiosk. It was supposed to be dine in and but they delivered it to the counter in a sack and did not call out the number. Perhaps with time the staff will get better but I doubt it.

We went through the drive-thru, they gave our order to the car in front of us. He lurched to a halt and brought the order back, and rather than remaking it they just handed us the order that was in someone else's car, and been fingered by the other party finding out it wasn't their order.

The drive through is not closed in, meaning no curb on both sides. It's extremely wide. We drove our trailer up to order and halfway through had an employee who was lounging in the parking lot run up to us and tell us he can't serve us with the trailer. That is fine. I don't see why not but rules are rules. However, as we go inside they are smack talking about how they told us off and being very unprofessional. I recommend to just keep driving there is more food options in either direction, don't waste your time or money.

I was working here until I found out they keep their employees checks from them. I didn't know that they had a time limit for employees to get their checks. Also, they never clean behind the dish pit or behind the grills. The bathrooms always had a smell to them and nobody wanted to clean them. The other employees had staring problems and my husband would get very upset and territorial when someone was staring at me. Nobody there has common sense for cleaning, hygiene, or even giving customers the correct order. The managers are childish and selfish. They are always on their phones and ignore customers in the lobby and at drive thru. They take forever on training their employees throughout the whole store. I was always either stuck working drive thru, the window, or the fry wall. I wanted to learn more but they refused to train me on more. The employees were always late or never showed up and didn't get written up, but if my husband or I was late or called in, we got written up. I will never work here again. The owners are money hungry and greedy. Nobody should go there to eat because they will get food poisoning. I have got it just for working there.

Got a double cheeseburger and fries. Don't eat here much because I know it's usually not very good. This time was awful! Food was cold. Double cheeseburger is advertised with two pieces of cheese, but only had one. Fries are way too salty and taste like cardboard. I learned my lesson yet again. I'll never go back. And, the ice cream machine is always down. Loss of revenue big time.

This is one of those "Gems" that you don't want to pass up. I have been going here for 7+ years and the staff is exceptional as is the cleanliness and quality of the food and coffee. Lot is always clean, service is fast and courteous. Very well managed McDonalds-Thanks!

Do not come here. Staff is awful. No matter now simple your order is they will mess it up. And they kept messing it up.

Place was not busy and took 30 minutes to get a simple order. Staff were pleasant though, but there's something seriously wrong with the operations.

My own experience is they forgot to put the nuggets in the bag! So as traveling you can’t go back and I called and they can’t refund by phone. Then they charged me for a quarter pounder value meal with a soda and asked if I wanted the soda because my shake couldn’t replace the soda. That is for employee to enter on screen correct not a customer to decide if she should get a soda she just learned she was paying for that I didn’t want lol. Employee needs better customer service ethics

Management doesn't do a consistent job. Sometimes, the service is ok, but usually extremely slow, inaccurate orders and left sitting at the line with no response until you ask if somebody's there....they are. Last time I was there I was the only one in line, money taker at the window was standing there eating and ignored I was there until I slid the window open and asked if I can pay so I can get to work...she didn't like that and said she didn't see me lol.

Basic McDonalds as normal. Service in general has been fast each time I have been there. Only real issue is that the parking lot can sometimes have issues due to people pulling trailers blocking multiple parking spaces.

Waited 30 minutes for food. Not sure if they are short handed but not a place to stop for anything quick. Food was hot

Worst customer service I’ve ever had, wait time took far too long, and food was barely even warm. Constant out of order machines, and system errors leading to them trying to charge more.

We were told at order that they had to brew sweet tea. Order took around 10-15 min and tea still was not ready. Fries were cold and old. We asked for fresh fries and when they finally came out, still no tea. We were informed that they brewed it incorrectly and we would need to choose something else. We asked if unsweetened tea was available, and she said yes, however when she brought us cups there was no tea available. The restaurant was dirty and smelled.
