Fairly recently refurbished interior. Clean rooms, confy beds. Breakfast is good for the category. Elevators are small. Good overall location but can be noisy as on busy main road.

I normally don't want to write bad reviews but this business deserves all the bad reviews. They have a manager who thinks she's very smart but not :) yes that blonde lady with her room behind the reception. she is so amateur,manage very badly and rude enough to say different prices to different customers coming to the reception OMG !!! All the hotels in the city were full, they may charge double price and give you the smallest,oldest and dirtiest room, or even demand more money if you want to stay for the second day. That blonde lady omg… Thank you again. because the next day we stayed in a better, newer and cheaper hotel. Ahh special thanks for the hostes despina, she is very kind and friendly.

I have arrived 04:00 am and at 10:30 am the cleaner has hit 2 times the door and has open it without asking and told me I have to go. I have pay 50 euros for 6 hours sleep. Never again. Edit: so as you said check out is at 11:00. So if I come 09:00 I have to pay 50 euros for 2 hours? What time exactly I have to come so I will buy the same product, renting a room for a 8 hours sleep that needs a human, as someone that has stay 24 hours with the same money ? I'm a human not a wallet.

The location of the hotel is very good, but it is also very very noisy! Even at the 5th floor we heard the cars, motorbikes and sirens all night. Add to this the fact that at 25 plus degrees there was no airconditioning made for a sleepless nights.

Wifi did not work on 9th floor. There was no parking for SUV Staff was arrogant. This is the second time im coming to el greeco. First time was good, this time was really bad

It's quite decent, but it has some minuses: a very small elevator, parking only in a nearby location, very few options for breakfast

This is not a pet friendly hotel. If you travel with a dog of normal size, don't be deceived by the "pets allowed" badges. They cancelled my reservation last minute, because my dog is normal sized. Thankfully, booking recognized that they had false advertisement and offered to find us another hotel for free to accept our dog.

Extremely noisy street making it hard to sleep. Air conditioner turned off for the season so it was really hot in the room. The receptionists didn't care about anything... Good breakfast.

Our check-in was set to be 2pm, but when we got to the hotel they told us to wait 'til 3pm and I know I may be petty, but that one hour was a torture because all we wanted to do was relax. Our room was dark, barely any light coming through and the view from our 3 ft balcony wasn't pleasant. Mold on the walls of the shower... not a great view either. The lady at the reception was cheery so she gets a star, but everything else, I just feel like it's not done properly. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

I recently stayed at El Greco in Thessaloniki. It's conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore. The rooms were clean, but a bit outdated. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was decent. Overall, a decent stay for the price

We had a bad experience with the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 2 am with a baby. They forgot to bring a baby cot. The receptionist went to bring it, but he tried to assemble it for over more than an hour (with our help) with no luck. All that at 2 am with a baby! After finally he managed to assemble it, we found that the mattress is missing. He tried to put some sheets instead but we didn't like it. One of the sheets was a curtain! Then he went to find a mattress and he did, but the sheets were to small and we had to use 2, one in front and one at the back. He managed to arrange all this at almost 4 am. All this time we were waiting with a baby at our hands and a 7 years old kid. Besides that, breakfast is nice. Sheets of the beds are aufull and unpleasant. And after all this, they didn't even offer to compensate us! Very dissapointed..

Service, staff was amazing. Breakfast was very delicious and a lot of variaty for every kind of people. I also satisfied from rooms.

+ Clean and comfortable room, great position of the hotel (few minutes from the sea and center square, white tower). The price - quality report is great. + You can park your car underneath the hotel for 12 euros/night. + You can have a room with balcony on the back side of the hotel (it is quiet and you have the view of the greeks culture and houses). + Very polite and professional staff. - It would be great to put glasses in the room.

Nice hotel with every thing you need just the single rooms are located at the back so the view wasn't that good. Over all very nice hotel with nice service and breakfast

5 stars actually! Nice and clean rooms, very friendly ready to help personnel and very good breakfast. Add to that a private parking place with valet service and you have the perfect hotel.

For the price, fine. No noise isolation. Area has crime, something happened whil I was in there. Nothing special.

Perfect location,just a few steps from the city center. By luck, stayed in renewed rooms and everything was good.

Its a good hotel but i can hear my neigbors talk about the divorce but the good thing is that there is a fight club in the middle of the street ouside would recommend if you are mute because walls are from cardboard

Hotel is comfortable. It is in the centre and near the bus stops. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. The breakfast is good, but you must be ready to filter coffee or you can pay extra for coffee from cofee machine.

A quality hotel, close to the center. Excellent accommodation conditions. Private parking behind the hotel - price 12 Euro. Very rich breakfast. I will always stay here when I come to Thessaloniki

Hotel is in the center of Thesaloniki. It is clean room hava enough space.

Rooms were very clean. We enjoyed our stay there a lot, and we will definitely visit the hotel again! Special thanks to all the staff that they were extremely helpful, and of course Michael at front desk that made us feel like home! Thank you Michael!

Central Location, easy to find, Very Clean Room with delicious Breakfast included, Great Customer Service, we asked for a quiet room on upper level and parking (12 euros) and they took great care of us, very satisfied, will return back next time I’m in town. The only little thing that it was a bit hard to accept was the shower, water splashing all the way to the toilet, so when you want to use it, the floor is all wet after you take the shower, however it drys out quickly. Thank you Hotel El Greco !!!

We are visiting from Australia and are really happy with this hotel. Location is good, within walking distance from the main points of interest. The staff, both back and front of house have been great. Great value for a modestly priced hotel.

Best hotel I've ever visited in Thessaloniki! All the stuff is very polite and professional, it showed from the very first minutes of our check in. Our room was on the street side on a high floor, it was very clean and spacious. The buffet was full of delicious Greek food! We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back, it really is a value for money!

Nice hotel at Via Egnatia. I had a clean, quiet room on the backside of the hotel. It even had a balcony. Comfortable bed. Large breakfast.

Lovely hotel !! very close to the heart of Thessaloniki ,4 minute walk to main street Tsimiski where all the shops are. The room was nice and clean and staff were very helpful. Mom and I had a great time :)

Excellent location (few minutes from the city center), delicious food (especially the salads and the breakfast) and polite staff with warm hospitality. The room was great, always clean although the bathroom needs some restoration. All in all, great choise for 8 day stay!

The hotel above all has a great location and is beautifully decorated. The rooms are clean and the staff is always available. I have to praise the food, I am a vegetarian and I enjoyed every meal for 8 days, wonderful! Thank you.
