Great location with a delicious breakfast. In walking distance of the water, restaurants and casino. Bring earplugs or noise canceling headphones!! Our room was on the bottom level and the floors are extremely squeaky and the walls are not well insulated. Although the beds are comfy it was like elephants working out above us from 6am on, at night you can hear people snoring/talking clearly from other rooms and eveytime you move on the bed it squeaks as well. It ruined our peaceful country stay. Maybe ask for second floor and it will be better?

within easy walking distance to the water and the cafes. Clean and well-maintained rooms, beautiful peaceful view and outdoor seats, helpful and friendly staff. All in all, a very nice stay

This is an automatic 5 star for me. It nests a great environment for sleeping. The operator is polite & calm, his service is on point. If you’re looking for a place to spent one or a few night, I highly recommend you check out this motel!

The location of this B&B is very well situated, but we were very disappointed with the accommodations. We reserved room #12 (the new part of the B&B), with a private bathroom, small TV and double bed looking to what they call a garden (really a back yard with no garden). The house is VERY echo, and couldn't sleep the both nights we were there as the people up above us would walk to the bathroom at all hours (bladder problem?), and run the water or flush the toilet at 2, 3, and 5 am... Every time a person would walk it would sound like an elephant pounding on our ceiling. The plumbing is so loud that it's impossible to get some sleep... The bed is definitely from 20 or 30 years ago. The ceiling (right above our bed) had a very bad patch job, the toilet is likely the shortest toilet I have ever seen, and the shower was also very low - almost like it was made for little people. The people that take care of this place are mostly not around to speak to... All in all I would highly recommend looking somewhere else for a good night sleep. For $360.00 for 2 nights, this place is WAY too dated and non accommodating. I have no idea how it got such good reviews... After sleeping there for 2 nights we were exhausted!

Fantastic staff, super friendly! Feels like home almost. Their breakfast is homemade and super delicious. The price is decent, rooms are clean and cozy, close to downtown Malbaie! Absolutely would recommend

We booked room 2, such a large rustic room. The new owners were very welcoming and the property is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. 😊

Place was ok but like others said, sound travels easily. They prep breakfast for you with a fee. Pretty clean, it's a somewhat old establishment with the owner living there. Don't expect too much. Ok for price. Enforces people to keep clean.

Given what we paid for to stay here, it was simply OK. The rooms were clean, however you could hear the showers running next door as though a jet engine was blasting right next to you. Management was not as warm and hospitable as you would expect for a rustic auberge. Breakfast was delicious. This auberge had lots of potential but falls short.
